How do I erase the amount of apps on the watch. I have to scroll through a bunch of apps just to get to the settings app. Also I'm so tired of the moto fitness notifications....... How do I make it stop!

Delete the app from the phone. It'll be erased from the watch automatically.

To get to the settings, just pull down while on the watch face screen.

I'm trying to clean out old apps from my play store account...apps from 3 years (4 phones) ago. I understand how to delete them but is there an easier way via pc? When I delete one from my account via phone/play store it takes me all the way back to the top and I have to scroll all the way back down to get where I left off!

You can remove unwanted apps en masse from Play My Apps by long tapping an unwanted app...which enters multiple select mode, then tap on each of your unwanted apps and hit the check box.

Thank you! I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life deleting them one at a time. Plus I have like 100 Purchased apps from the google play 10 cent deal last year. lots of scrolling..
While I study for the GRE, I do a lot of switching between OneNote and some other app ( eg dictionary ). Considering the slowness of loading recent apps, it gets a bit annoying considering the number of times I need to switch between the two. Hoping for a way to switch between the two most recent apps without actually going into recent apps.
Can either app work in multi view?
Onenote is for reading so would rather avoid having a split view

You could try MW enabler (Search for it in the play store) It doesn't require root, and it would allow you to take one (or both) of the apps and shrink them down into a bubble, that you could easily open and close and hide. In your situation it might be an option.
There are some limitations due to it not needing root... the 2 biggest are that it has to uninstall and reinstall the app... you will lose whatever you have unless you have it backed up somewhere (wouldn't think its a big deal for a dictionary) and you need to turn OFF auto updating for those apps, because if they update from the play store you will lose the multi window/bubble feature until you re-activate it.
Yeah not sure if I like that option thanks for the info. If it irritates me enough the next few days I will likely reconsider

Didn't know this was possible without root. Awesome! And it removes it from the list of installed apps for you so no fear of auto updates.

Give switchr a try. l set it up in "Flow" mode and use a right side edge trigger. Seems to work well for switching between applications.
Umm just drag your finger down and in from the top right corner of the screen while in app. Then you can minimize it to a bubble or have multiple apps open at once on the screen.
right you can windowize the app... then all apps that are windowed can be iconized by pressing the home key.
I'll have to watch a video on YouTube to see what you're referring to. New to this whole multi window thing

I see this option in screenshots all over the internet, yet it's not in the options in my android wear app. My 360 is on 5.0.1, and my wear app is version 1.0.5.1630507.
Is there a newer wear app version or something? I've restarted my phone, and cleared the cache in the wear app and no joy.
Much better yet though, would be an option to INCREASE THE SCREEN TIMEOUT!!! How is this not an option yet?!?!?!
Come on Google - wake up!!
TIA!
Swipify has an always on option and a brightness slider .... When used with theater mode ...all is good

Thank you!! Well worth the $1.
I tried watch maker, but I couldn't find a nice watch face.
I seriously can't understand why Google hasn't added this feature by now. It's a no-brainer, and wear has been in development how long now?! It's mind bogglingly stupid.

You can import any .face or .watch watch face file to watchmaker

Some apps did nothing on my watch ,but it will waste batteries
You would have to do this in an adb shell on the watch. Then get the package name, then "pm disable packagename"
thank you .
Is there any app can do that?

If all you want to do is stop certain notifications on your watch, in Android Wear > Settings > Block app notifications. Then choose the apps to block.

This does not do what you think it does. It only stops notifications, the app still exists on the phone.

Hello,
So, I'm wondering if there is a good app out there that clears the system cache as well as cache from applications? On my S7 Edge, there was a cleaner built into the settings under storage. There isn't anything on this pixel, and assistant for android doesn't actually clean anything out now either (guessing it's not allowed in Oreo?). I hate to go through app by app and do this manually every now and then. The reviews of apps I found on the store were hit or miss. I even downloaded Norton's cleaner, and it didn't actually clear the app cache like it said it does.
Please and thank you!

They removed the option since Nougat I think. I used Norton Cleaner on my 5X and it did a good job clearing the app cache. What didn't it clear for you?

I checked some apps before I ran it, it said it cleaned out some stuff, but it didn't look like enough. Anyway, I checked the same apps after I ran it, and nothing was cleared. Is there a setting somewhere I'm supposed to change? I looked around but didn't see anything. Uninstalled it this morning.

Hmm. Just gave it a try and look like it gets app cache for some but not all apps. Like YouTube looks like it was cleared but Instagram wasn't. [emoji848]

Yeah, I checked Facebook and Messenger, nada there. Those two are a couple of the biggest offenders too.
I haven't really paid a ton of attention to how efficient it is, but I like HTC Boost+. It's got a pretty interface, pretty versatile options, and I trust that HTC has made some decent software.

Just gave that app a try and it's seeing different cache numbers as well. The app sees Instagram with 99 MBs and app info for Instagram shows 428 MBs. Maybe all these cache cleaning apps aren't viewing the right data?
