I have a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2. I have been using ResurrectionRemix 5.5.4 for the past month but last night my phone stopped charging suddenly(the charger was perfectly fine). I thought of giving it a restart but then it automatically booted itself into Odin Mode. This happened 5-6 times.
I ejected the SD card and I was able to boot into recovery mode so I flashed a new ROM assuming the problem occurred due to the ROM. It worked fine after that but now again, it stops charging for a few minutes. It doesnt even detect the charger but it charges perfectly fine through my laptop.

It's been a fantastic day for me.
I was in the middle of a nandroid restore (TWRP). I was restoring a PAC Rom, and the ROM I was running was MROM (I liked the Rom, but it didn't have the Nav Bar, so it wasn't for me - it was running fine).
In the middle of the restore, my phone turned off. I was relatively close to 100% battery when I started to do the restore.
When the phone turned off, I tried to turn it back up, and it kept looping. I then tried to enter recovery, which I did. I didn't want to try restoring again, so I started to wipe with the intentions of flashing a fresh rom. But the phone turned off again. Now, it still won't boot up, and now I can't enter recovery. I get to the TeamWin screen, and it turns off.
I can enter download mode.
However, for the last several months, my computer never recognized my phone. Today,I've tried maybe five different usb cords (2 are S3 OEM) and four different USB ports. I've tried with Kies, and I have removed Kies. I tried with Odin open and more. No luck. I think my phone's usb jack is busted, but it charges fine from the computer.
My wife has an S3, too. Last I checked, she connects just fine to the computer, but she's at work now.
What do I do?
Can I somehow use my wife's phone to fix this awesome problem?
UPDATE: The USB port/jack is messed up. I am going to try and get the warrant to cover it.
I just tried another PC with no luck, too.
So im having a bit of a conundrum. My phone doesnt boot when unplugged. And it actually works fine if i plug it and charge the phone. The second i pull out the cord, the phone shuts down and wouldnt boot past the initial logo. I tried data wipe and flashed cloudyg3 fresh but its still happening. I should also note that this doesnt happen if im in recovery mode.
what should i do? ._.
Hello everyone
I got a ZE551 ML Z3580, 4 GB and 64 GB. It runs on Resurrection Remix 5.7.3 (MM) and it was a great phone til I had to change the screen two months ago.
Then it worked fine until this morning. I was using "Asus Pixel Camera" and the phone just shut down and vibrate 2 times (the same vibration as when the phone starts).
I tried to start the phone again but it never went over the boot animation. It shuts down 2 seconds after the beginning of the boot animation.
I tried to reinstall the ROM but the phone shut down before the end of the flash. I tried to flash with the ROM on a USB OTG and it wasn't better. I tried to put the file on the internal storage (sdcard in TWRP) but the copying of the file never ended and the phone shuts down/restarts. I don't know what's my problem, it never happened before. Just hope it isn't a hardware problem.
Can you help me?
Thanks

Can you boot to twrp still ?
If you can
Connect wall charger , boot to twrp . select reboot and power off.
See what battery is doing after.
Sounds like a battery issue to me. Let it charge for a long time (like 24 hours) then try again
Thank you, I'll try it tonight. I just ordered a Xperia X Compact to replace it.
So, I did it with the phone plugged to the wall. And now it's okay. It seems to work fine but I don't understand how this all thing happened.
Thank you
Hello there everyone! Let me explain my problem:
Backstory
I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250 maguro since 7-6 years or so. I've been flashing some roms into it and everything went well since a week ago.
I had installed from a very long time this version of CM "cm-13.0-20160921-NIGHTLY-maguro" and I have not updated it, so I basically was running that from a very long time.
Three weeks ago the phone started behaving strangely, it was closing automatically, and I thought that it was a temperature problem (being a very hot summer) so I did not worry too much.
Everything was working fine, charging and connecting via USB .
Problem
Last week the phone once again died and I tried to boot it up normally as I would normally do, but nothing happened, not even the Google logo popped up.
So I removed the battery and put it back in, the phone booted up to the Google logo, then after two or three seconds the Google logo flashed like brightness went up to 100% and black screen.
Went into fastboot, booted TWRP to see if that was working, and the recovery was working fine.
Things got worse.
At the moment
I cannot get the phone to do anything if it's not connected to a power source.
If the phone is connected via USB, or charger, I can get it to go ONLY on fastboot, and download mode. If I unplug the phone while on fastboot or download mode, the screen brightness goes up to 100% for half a second then it glitches out and goes into black screen immediatelly. I can not access bootloader nor recovery mode from fastboot, because the phone reboots, shows the Google logo and then it dies.
What I tried
Thinking that maybe the ROM went crazy, I followed this guide to flash the phone with all the original ROM and recovery (I downloaded "yakju-jwr66y-factory-4cadea65" and followed the instructions of the guide).
Nothing changed, if the phone is not connected to a power source, it is basically dead, if I put it to a power source it shows the charging logo for a second, then black screen, and I can only boot up fastboot and download mode.
I don't know if this might help but I've also tested the battery voltage and it seems to be fine.
Last thing, if I connect the phone to the PC (with the battery or without) every 2 seconds it shows up that an unidentified device is being detected.
I currently am using a laptop running windows 8.
On my desktop computer the same thing happens (the device detection) but from device manager I see a OMAP4400 (something like that) popping up but at the moment I cannot use my desktop PC since I'm traveling.
I would really like to know what happened to my phone, any answer will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Update [solved]
After doing some research and trying different methods I gave up. But then I realized that maybe trying the stupidest thing could be the solution, so I went to a phone shop and asked them if they had some sort of test battery that I could plug in my phone temporarily to see if it was booting up.
Turns out, it was the battery.
I bought a new battery and now the phone runs smoothly like it's new.
I feel so dumb and I'm so sorry if I've made some of you people waste your time by reading the poem of the first post.
Hopefully this will someday help someone that will have the same problem of my GT-I9250!

Hello, i unrooted my phone to go on holiday. I recently got back. Earlier today i tried to root my phone again so i switched my phone off. I tried to boot into recovery mode but nothing happened so i tried to boot it normally. I waited a bit and put it on charge like google said but nothing helped. Also i had a moister warning before i turned my phone off. For some reason i tried sucking at my charging port and headphone jack and waited a bit my phone turned on. I tried to boot into recovery mode again but the same thing happened. i tried the exact same thing but it hasn't worked what shall i do?
