Hi, I currently have installed CM13 (build 31/12/2015) and I have problem to connect to internet via Wifi network. When connected to the network, seeks, obtains IP and connects but disconnects automatically. I've uninstalled Xposed Framework via Recovery, I have made to wipe cache/dalvik and I have reset the network settings from on CM13 but the problem persists.
Finally, I have chosen to install a new kernel (Nebula Kernel), but the problem persist. Thank for your help.

Hello,
I have made a dirty flash and the problem has been fixed.

Today I updated my ROM from LeeDroid v2.5 to v3.0.8.2. I wiped my phone first. After this I rebooted, then rebooted again into recovery and installed the recommended radio (32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08). Then I restored my apps+dat with Titanium back up and rebooted again.
It soon became apparent that whilst mobile internet was working fine, WIFI wasn't. While my phone will connect to the router it won't connect to the internet. If I enter the local IP of my router I can browse the settings fine. I tried "forgetting" the network and re-entering security code but this still didn't work.
I restored my v2.5 nandroid backup and the internet worked fine, the radio is still 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08.
So I did a fresh install of the v3.0.8.2 ROM and tried connecting to WIFI again and again the same problem.
So my question is, is this an inherent problem with the ROM, and if so why does no one else seem to have this problem, or is it a setting issue?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Also I tried changing the WIFI channel as suggested in another WIFI thread, and this didn't change anything. Except the WIFI channel obviously.
And I tried a static IP address and that didn't work either.

Did you sort it?
I think you need to wait before the router give your router assign an ip for your phone, btw, some router donot fit all phone model
Yes thanks I managed to sort it today by following this thread
Apparently the fault is inherent to Android 2.3.3 and seems to present itself mainly with Thompson routers. It was a static IP I needed, I'd not entered the details properly the first time.
Thanks for the replies!

Since I moved to the new version of this awesome costume rom, I face a problem with my wifi connection.
The wifi connect with wifi, but there's no internet connection!!
What I did ::
I tried to check and uncheck all the options on wifi advance. I have install mj5 by odin. I have reinstall the rom several times. But nothing changed..
What shall I do now please..!!
I had the same issue once. I figured out that it wasn't the fault of my phone but the problem was with my wifi hotspot. I reset my wifi modem and made a new hotspot. That solved my problem. Hope this also works for you.
Hey,
i do a clean installation of lineage ROM. Everything is fine but my WIFI doesnt work. It says "saved" after i enter my wifi password but i dont get connection to wifi. I tried deleting my safed wifi and entered a wrong wifi password it says again "saved".
I tried 5-7 other ROMs, installed with a clean method but everytime the same problem.
Before i install the custom ROM i installed TWRP latest for my device by download mode with odin and then installed the ROMs by TWRP with GAPPS.
I searched at google but cant find a solution. Please help me

Try to reset network settings
Or clear cache memory from recovery
Hey,
Here's the full story of what I have been doing with my mom's RN8 today.
Just unlocked bootloader, installed the newest TWRP, flashed Magisk + Magisk Manager Canary, reset phone to recovery and got an SYSTEM DAMAGED error, flashed twrp 3.4 +vbmeta from a youtube guide and saved my phone, installed Magisk module called WifiBonding or something - it didn't work and my phone stopped displaying any wifi networks so turned the module off, that didn't help so I reset the phone. That didn't work either so I factory reset it, that didn't help, so I went to TWRP and wiped data partition - I still have the problem though, the phone doesn't display any WIFI networks - when I click the wifi button in the dropdown menu or go to setting and click the switch, it goes back onto the off position after a second. Even during the installation wizard after I wiped the phone, it didn't see any wifi networks!
How do I fix the problem? What do I wipe in twrp to replace the file that has completely broken my wifi? Right now I will try to install the magisk manager again and remove it using the 'uninstall' option. Help me out fellas, please, I am clueless as to what to do!
tl;dr - installed the module called Wifi Bonding (Qcom) v. 1.14 by simonsmh - phone didn't display any WIFI networks, the button returned to the off position, I wiped twrp data, the problem still persists. How do I solve it?
Thank you in advance! @simonsmh
edit: tried resetting the wifi and mobile and bt settings just now and it didn't change anything. Also, fogot to mention I am running MIUI Globla 11.0.9 Stable (PCOMIXM)

just install stock rom or any cusrom here
So apparently after uninstalling Magisk I accidentaly wiped and formatted all the data on my phone and was forced to reflash MIUI using this guide. https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2 All is well now, the wifi bug is no more. Thanks for your comment dude.
Best
