I don't have Windows. I have a iMac with LG Bridge. Would like to update my G4. LG Bridge sees my G4. Update starts to download. Download is finish and then LG Bridge stops updating by unpacking. Must takeout the battery and start again. But it happens the same as before. Can I update my G4 with iMac or just Windows. And when comes the OTA Update?

Hello all. Not been on XDA for a while; but I hope you can help me. I have an LG G4, which I just received yesterday from Vodafone UK. I tried to connect it to LG Bridge today to check for updates, but the Bridge would not work with the phone. The phone name showed up in the bottom left corner of the Bridge screen. It said something about it cannot work with this phone at this time; please try later. I had installed the drivers for the phone, and switched debugging on and off a on again. I tried it with usb set to all the different options; but nothing worked. Have you got any ideas as to how to get this working correctly?
what drivers did you install?
The official WHQL_Ver_4.0.4 from the LG site? (can't link it)
Worked with LG Bridge for me on my stock H815.

I had LG Bridge switched on, and I had the LG drivers from the website. I think the LG Bridge is incompatible with Windows 10, which is what my laptop runs on. However, I did manage to get both my husband's phone, and mine, updated to Marshmallow. I used a program from here on XDA called LGUP, and found the relevant kdz file to run the LGUP program. The phones are both on stock Marshmallow now, with no sign of the Vodafone boot menu. I ran LGUP as an update, so that I was able to keep all my apps, files, etc, as they were before.
Thank you for your help, @Yuuseki, I appreciate it.
Hey Guys,
I am having some problems.
I unrooted my phone with " LG G3 Stock Firmware". Everything worked fine.
Then i switched to the lg suite to update my phone to a new version. (Somehow it don't find it with the app)
But now i am in the Lg Logo Bootloop.
I already did a Hard reset but it didn't worked out.
And if i try "Restore update errors" it says mobile divice
What can I do to update my phone or to prevent this bootloop?

Hello,
I have a lg g pad 8.3. Today I've tried to do the downgrade Lollipop -> Kitkat, but something wrong and I have the boot logo restart. But I've put my G PAD in download mode and now I'm trying to install various version of stock version through LG Flash Tool. But on my Windows 10, I receive the error "LGUserCSTool LG Mobile has stopped working........", while on my Windows XP pc, the .kdz of the version 30a.kdz stop the installation at the 95% and the LGMobile Support Tool tell me to retry the installation, while with the version 10b.kdz, finish at the 45%.
What I have to do now?
I see only DOWNLOAD MODE on my tablet, If I shutdown the tablet, reappears the Download Mode, no LG Logo.
Sorry for my bad english.
I followed this guide but used the 10b.kdz instead of 30a

I noted that using 3GQCT worked fine (but required a hard reset)
CDMA caused "LGUserCSTool LG Mobile has stopped working"
So today I wanted to update my LG G3 (D855) 16 Gb model to 6.0 with the flash tool, bcs my phone was very buggy with the lollipop update. I did everything like it was said on a tutorial and downloaded the .kdz file. After starting to flash it I got a problem, maybe a big one even. The flash tool can't connect to my phone anymore and the process is stuck on 19% on the update firmware screen. I haven't unplugged it yes and I am kinda scared to do it. What should I do? I have red that I should maybe change the USB port from 3.0 to 2.0 but I don't know if I should unplug my phone just like that or turn it of for now?
Please help me!
