I am having issues with my Fire phone. It started earlier today when my phone would spontaneously restart itself. Once it restarted it would function as usual for an hour or so. Then it started what I call a restart loop, where it will shut off and immediately restart to the amazon logo, cycling off and on continuously, up to 10 minutes at a time.
I tried a factory reset, but it went straight into the restart loop once it was the initial setup was complete. I am at a loss at what to do and any advice is much appreciated.
Thank you.
Does it happen to be near a Tmobile personal Cellspot? Mine was doing that, but would boot fine if you remove the SIM card.
Same problem with
Return it, I haved one with same problem, it was refurbished

So I'm pretty sure my phone is fried. Just wanted to double check with anyone before sending it in.
I was driving and streaming music to my car when it stopped, and I noticed my screen wasn't responding. Swapping the battery only showed me the LG splash screen before restarting, showing the splash screen, then shutting the screen off and not responding. No length of time will let it boot.
I have everything on my SD card so no worries, I tried wiping from recovery. TWRP booted, froze, screen shut off and the phone was again, unresponsive.
Last resort, restoring with the KDZ. I got it into download mode, waited to see if the screen shut off again, and went ahead with flashing after I saw it was ok. It finished up and rebooted, and once again all I saw was the LG splash screen. I got to the "Android is upgrading" screen at one point, and it froze and shut off the screen again. It was, again, unresponsive.
tl;dr
Phone crashes, even after KDZ flash and master reset. Is there any hope I can fix it? I have a backup phone in the meantime but it's so horrible, I miss my G4!
Thanks for reading.
Better send it. Got crazy bootloops myself.
At the end even couldn't charge it. After i got it back i asked what was broken, they told me that it was unable to repair mainboard and usb port and they put new.So my advice let it fly to the repair shop.

Hi, so a week ago I had this weird problem with my phone. It would just freeze for like 2 minutes, work again for a minute and so on.
Did a hard reset, same problem.
Flashed that 6.0 KDZ, no success. The phone started but I was basically stuck at the lock screen, touchscreen was unresponsive, power menu kept showing up for no reason... couldn't even turn the phone off.
After that, I decided to stop ****ing around with it and send it to a repair store (no warranty). Today, after about 5 days, I picked it up and was told that they tried a ton of ROMs but they have no idea what's wrong with it.
Got home, ran a hard reset again and now I can't even get to the lock screen, phone is basically in a boot loop. LG logo shows up, the "Android is starting... Optimising apps" screen does its thing, restarts and keeps going like this forever.
Is there anything I can do or should I just throw the phone in the garbage and get another one? Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks!
Hi,
Same issue for 2 days...
My G3 was suddently slow and unresponsive so I removed the battery.
I put it back again, as usual, and start the phone. But it get stuck at the LG logo.
Sometimes the animated LG logo shows up, sometimes not.
Sometimes it displays the PIN screen (unresponsive or not), sometimes not.
Sometimes it boots totaly normaly (1% of time) and become unresponsive/buggy after a couple of minutes.
I tried flashing kdz (normal and CSE) 10 times, factory reset, change battery, without success...
Good luck.
Hello all,
My Pixel XL randomly started resetting on its own and then gets stuck in a bootloop. It used to reset 1-3 times a day a do this (Its been going on about a week now), but the last couple of days its been doing this several times an hour. I can get it to stop the bootloop and finishing turning on by pressing the power button a bunch during the loop, but it will shortly reset and start the bootloop.
I can't even power my device off, because before it can finish powering down, it will reset into the bootloop. I have contacted Google, and they weren't much help. They said they can send me a new device, but it will be a week or two. Any suggestions on what I can do in the meantime to try and fix this? I've already done a factory reset and that did not help.
Thanks!
This keeps happening to me. Any luck finding a fix?
Same here. I updated to the latest patch a few days ago and now my Pixel (not Pixel XL) goes through bootloop a few times a day...
I've had similar issues with my Pixel XL recently. It started with a random reboot, after which it just ran really slowly, with apps telling me they weren't responding or the whole thing just freezing up. Shortly after that it went into a boot-loop (boot, input PIN to unlock, screen freezes, auto reboot, rinse/repeat).
For me, a factory reset would solve the issue for a couple of days then it was back to the same problems.
I returned mine to the shop this weekend, and they have sent it off for repair/replacement; in the meantime they've given me a basic Android loan-phone.
Sorry; I'd like to tell you I had a fix for this, but I just wanted to say that I too experienced this issue and simply took it back for replacement/repair. I guess it depends where you bought it (I got mine SIM-free from a shop in the UK) for them to offer something else to tie you over.
So a few months back, my phone had bootloop like symptoms, but i was able to access it for a few seconds, and after that it started freezing up and restarting, until it "bootlooped". I could enter the power + volume down menu, but rarely in the recovery mode. I hat to keep the phone OFF a few minutes/hours. I've reset it and tried multiple OTA's at that time, no luck
Now, after a few months, i tried again, booted up the phone, set it up like a new phone, it worked for a few minutes, after that it started freezing up again. The battery was 15%, than 4% than 32% (after every restart)
Now, i managed to sideload the latest OTA, the phone is in the previous newly setup phase, and ifi leave it charging (via laptop usb) and lockscreen it took about 5-6 minutes before it started restarting, and again, the battery indicator started to show 5%, 18%, 46% and back down to 14% after the last restart.
i've seen some similar topics here, that said that after a battery change it was usable again, but with no RMA possibilities, and on a tight budget, i would not like to invest in a new battery and service, just for it to be some other hardware malfunction. So if there is anyone able to help, i would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Hey are you still around? I think this may be a issue caused by the emmc chip itself. I bought a pixel for $12 from a guy who was just trying to get rid of a phone (with almost same exact issues of yours). Some people are saying because power button is stuck but that's silly because power button works perfectly fine in bootloader mode.
