Touch Stops Working When Connected To PC

Hello,
My name Is Arjun Jadeja and I am a Galaxy Y User with Kurotsugi's Kernel And Jelly Blast ROM V3.....
PROBLEM: Whenever I connect my phone to the PC the touch just doesn't work! The Touch kind of freezes well my keys work but not the touch screen. I tried to use"Auto Mount SDCard" but it works only in rare cases. I tried reinstalling everything but I failed. If you have any kind of solution please post as I need help.

Flash to stock firmware and see if the touch works when connected to pc. If it does, then a glitch might've occurred while installing the rom. You'll need to install it again.

I think its not a big deal to worry with.if thats not a rom problem.u need to check your usb port because its passing more current than the required one.galaxy y's touch becomes unresponsive if u use chargers of other phones,used connectors frm nokia chrgers etc the voltage mismatch causes it.i think its the same case here if thts not a rom prblm

ya its a usb problem...
i also hav this one....

it depends on the computer. i try it to a slower not updated PC ang i cannot use the touch but when i try it on a high speed PC, even the usb is connected i can use my Galaxy y just as normal..it depends on the PC you use

maybe you have a low RAM in your phone, did you use the 2.0port in your PC? do you have samsung driver installed?

here is end card i think so
i too got d sam prblm many times n even wit xperia mini pro tooo n i cam to a conclusion myself dat its cos of not having earthing to the pc im using.
i think u knew wat is Earthing.

It's by the earthing problem itself try changing to a laptop... You won't get that

[Q] Galaxy Grand Vibration not working

Dear Friend,
Vibration on My Galaxy Grand Duo has suddenly stopped working. I tried checking using code *#0842#, but it gives msg "Connection Problem or invalid MMI Code". Please help.

have you reviewed your vibration settings and restarted your phone.. grand have a bug that its vibration stops working at times.. try restarting ur device. also check d settings
and i think you are on official stock firmware.. right?

I recently flashed some custom ROMs but the vibration is not working....currently i tried with cm11 ROM even then vibration is not working and all settings have been checked and enabled vibration but i failed.....HELP ME PLEASE

same problem with my brother Grand duos (Non-rooted)
I need help in this question too, My brother Grand is Non-rooted too and he told me one day that his Phone has same problem you told. vibration stop sometime.
I need solution for this too

@DMJoh I think its related to Vibration motor maybe. Mine doesn't work 98% of times.

Don't even use vibration mode/haptic feedback much tbh.

99% its because of the motor I believe. Mine works rararely on stock, but cant make out whether its a vib r not.. lol...

Does it work on stock??
The vibration motor might have been damaged.

Thanks for your suggestions and solutions...... My issue got resolved.....
But it was too simple..... While playing with MA friends.... I hit one of my friend with my mobile and from next sec.....it stated working awesomely...... lolz

mine , on Stock ROM , the vibrator is working , but on Custom ROM , it doesn't work .
is it bug ?

I had the same prob.i tried switching the heptic feedback off and on.but it didn't work.i read your solution that you had hit your friend with it.n so I banged my phone on my bed just like that. N IT WORKED!!! Thanks pal.

The code only work on stock ROM, wont work on custom.

Actually this problem happens alot to our device when flashing custom ROM. I'll let you know if found any solution on this.

Problem is in samsungs hardware...i have noticed that in most cases.. The connecting chord that came with charger also get worse...i have2-3 samsung cord in my house and all of them have same prob.... And this vibration issue might be also for same hardware made by samsung....the sensor has stopped working internally..so no need for vibration test..when we bang the phone on something...the sensor (hardware) actually starts working..but after some time.. It stops...
The best advice is to change your phone...or if its under warrenty..go to Samsung sstore...otherwise just keep your volume to max..:laugh::good:

hello everyone , does anyone know how to check battery status that if its working fine or not ? cas i hv been facing a lot of problems regarding to that... phone switches off at 35% somtimes 40% .. it take too much time to fully charge...
SO ANYONE ?

Do a delvik cache clean and restart may your problem get solve o/w clean install the rom again as i suppose your battery calibration file got corrupted . There are many tools in market to recalibrate the battery or fresh generate battery calibration file.

Problems after 4.2.2 update

Hey frndz i have updated my galaxy grand 9082 to 4.2.2 n after tat update my phone camera has got some problem its blurry ?
N my battery is also draining very fast as soon as it reach at 30% if anyone has a solution for tis plzz let me know guys ☺☺

Blurry camera i didnt notice check your back cover inner side Lens Glass just clean it Battery Drain is kind of problem of Official Software the only way to get battery life in Stock Firmware is Disable Unnecessary Apps...

I strongly suggest you do a factory reset. Backup your important data before that. Sometimes solves battery drain issues (It did for me)
