So for the past few days, my t-mobile LG G4 mobile data keep turning on randomly by itself. I've been scouring the Internet for the Internet looking for a working solution to my problem but so far nothing has work. And because of it my battery life has suffered tremendously. If anybody have a solution, that will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
On the side note, apparently Android OS has consumed over 270 MB of my data plan over a period of five days. Solution to this problem will also be welcome.
(Sorry for the poor grammar. English is not my first language.)

hello,
im not all that good with the jargon of all these smartphones, as im fairly new to them, but im having a slight problem.
My Xda Orbit (Artemis) keeps on loosing the connection and it has often been a day or so untill i realise, obviously missing any incoming calls/texts etc. Obviously this has caused some problems. It either just randomly looses the connection, so the X at the top of the screen appears indicating there is no connection, and sometimes for some random reason it even turns off the phone/turns on airplane mode.
basics: Xda orbit running on WM 6.1 with the ROM "Artemis Touch 4.02 WWE installed. However i have had the ROM installed for months, and had no problems, this is a fairly recent thing that has started to happen over the last month or so.
if anyone could help, that would be greatly appriciated.
cheers.
losing conection
i had the same problem 1.5 years old p3300
i contacted htc support or in your case contact the manufacturer
mine got repaired , got a new motherbord. no cost at all
So I've had my dash for about a year now. For the longest time, wifi worked just fine. I only use it while I'm in europe. I was home in the states for the summer and sent it off to have the screen repaired, got back to europe a little over a week ago, and have yet to get wifi to work like it did.
Some things I've tried- power mode to best performance, taking out the battery, restarting.
Some more advanced things I just tried- Installed the 3volution winmo 6.5 series rom I found on this website yesterday. Still when wifi is clicked on, it does not scan and I only see "unavailable." Does this mean it is a hardware error for sure (did they break something when the screen was being repaired?)
Anyone able to think of a fix?
Also the 3volution rom is awesome, thanks very much!
this is a old thread but i've had the same problem with you, wifi always "unavailable". so can every one help us or have solution for this problem??
I've got two identical Windows Mobile phones (Verizon XV 6800). One connects to our WiFi just fine, the other always reports "Unavailable". The settings are identical. Would love to have this mystery resolved.
maybe its an internal prob...
Do you still have the same IMEI on your device? Maybe they swapped boards in the repair center and you now have a board without WLAN (T-Mobile MDA Mail in Germany is such a board).
Hi, I just acquired a LG Optimus G not too long ago maybe 3 weeks ago. I've reset the phone and erased everything. I narrowed it down to it being on Wi-Fi, the it did it to me on 3G. I can't spend more than a minute without it freezing and shutting off. It's unbearable to use. It drops and shuts off in the middle of everything. If there's anything anybody can think of, thanks. I'm not sure if any other users are experiencing the same issue. I would love to know if there is a quick-fix before I bring it back to the store.

I've had my G3 for 18 months now and over the past 4 weeks I've had problems with the wifi dropping and reconnecting again. I tried the tips from people I found on other websites but nothing cured the problem. Usually I would forget the wifi and then reconnect to it. That would usually work for a few hours, but then it would drop again.
Around the same time my SD card would unmount too. I originally put that down to it being old, so I bought a new one, but again, same problem. I've not been using one since.
3 days ago the battery drained itself within a couple of hours and the phone failed to connect to any wifi at all.
In fact it kept resetting itself and I had to take the battery out so it could turn on again.
I purchased a new battery and the life has improved a bit but the wifi problems persist.
I did a factory reset hoping that would cure the problem, but nope, still not connecting to any wifi.
I was a sent here to seek advice from a Techie Forum, so hopefully you can help me out!
I've had a quick look and I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the root and flash talk....
Does this problem all come down to Lollipop being a pain in the ass?
Is rooting the only way to get around it?
Hi, I have a small issue with a new Moto e40 bought sim free direct from Moto. UK edition.
When my connection switches from WiFi to 4G, for a brief moment the connectivity drops (which is fine) bit during those couple of seconds, a new tab opens in Chrome which takes me to https://wcad.tim.com.br/
This has happened from day one with stock apps, nothing I installed has made this happen.
I would be grateful if anyone could help me stop this from happening.
Hello, any updates on this topic? This happens frequently on both of my units, one of them bought simlock-free from an electronics store. It is slowly driving me nuts.
