I don't understand what exactly you are asking here.
1) What exactly you mean by telling "I turn the phone into fastboot mode returns!"?
Do you mean when you turn it into fastboot mode it reboots??
2) What exactly do you mean by telling "when I reset my phone"??
Did you make a factory reset when you was booted into safemode?
3) Anyway, what is the proccess you followed to root your phone and did you have this problem before you try to root it??
A flash of a factory RUU could get solve your problem but I would suggest you to S-OFF your device and reflash it as long as you are already rooted.

Need Some Help!

While tryng to r-flash my phone I must have done something wrong...I followed the required steps. My phone is now STUCK/FROZEN at the spalsh screen. I tried to flash again but I can't because the phone does not sync to the pc. I tried a soft reset, a hard reset by by holding the send/end buttons then pressing rest and nothing...I'm always the stuck in the splash screen. (the phone does not respond at all) Any suggestions on how to fix my issue or get to the bootloader screen..thanks!
You can flash a ROM in bootloader mode so go into it and reflash your ROM.

How do I flash in bootloader mode...how do I get into it so i can flash?
Thanks for the fast reply.
Hold the camera button all the way down and soft reset the device simultaneously.
you can also just start flashing with a RUU.

[Q] Factory Reset without recovery mode

Hi
I was wondering if there is a way to factory reset my phone if i cannot go into recovery mode (i.e. if i hold down Vol. Down and boot, it shows the recovery thing for 1 second, then crashes and reboots into android). If i use the recovery from android it also reboots and tries to go into recovery, where it crashes.
So, is there any way to circumvent recovery? I can not attach the phone to a pc.

I don't mean to be rude, and any help is greatly appreciated, but please at least read my post before answering.
u said that u can't go into recovery
the option "factory reset" is in the bootloader menu..u can't boot into the bootloader???
in the wors case, flash an ruu
I'm sorry, i didn't know there was a difference. My bad.
No , I cannot go into the bootloader. Can i flash an ruu if i cannot connect my phone to the pc?
if ur phone is not branded by ur operator, u can flash the latest froyo ruu available by downloading this, rename it as PB99IMG.zip and put in the root of the sdcard (using a card reader with ur computer)
boot the phone in bootloader and hope that it not crash and start the update (it should start automatically)
if it crash before to start the update..i dont have other ideas..
anyway i never heard about a crashing bootloader..after what this start happening?
I will try, but i don't have much hope.
This is most probably the aftermath of my phone taking a trip to the bottom of a lake.
//edit: Sadly, I can't get your suggestion to work. The bootloader still crashes
First of all: If you have a crashed bootloader, the phone would do absolutely nothing. As long as you phone reacts, your bootloader is not crashed.
What do you mean with "it boots into android?" What happens next?
TouchPaled from Oxygen with Transparent XDA App
Well, it boots into android as you would expect (i can use w-lan etc, surf the net, install aps...) as long as no sim card is inserted. I guess the radio is damaged so it crashes after putting in a pin when a sim card is in the phone.
Maybe the bootloader tries to access the radio too and that is why it crahes?
The phone also only works when plugged into the outlet, so the battery is probably damaged.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Did you root your phone? If not, just send it to HTC. You talking about a recovery, but not which type (stock or custom).

Cheers, Wow that was stupid of Me, I'm used to either having a battery to pull or the Bootloader having a reboot Option, totally forgot about the Hard-Reboot,
Fastboot also gives option to reboot.
Or you can hold the power button down for 10 seconds (this works anywhere as it's built in to the bootloader as a means of performing a hard reset, like pulling the battery).
Don't worry, I searched for the answer to this before booting to bootloader too cos I was used to pulling the battery on my HD2 and couldn't see an option to reboot in any of the screenshots.

Try to go into recovery. Turn off your phone and turn your phone on with the power button + vol down. When the phone turns on,let go and press the same combo buttons again for a few seconds until it shows a factory reset. Click yes for both ( no it won't delete your data) and it will take you to TWRP
ןIt's still not working and I tried it yesterday and now it does not work because it is installed on the device Recovery So how do I solve this problem please help me!
Thanks in advance.

Stock Boot-Loop, out of options!

I was at work the night before, and my capacitive buttons stopped responding, so I went for a restart in hopes they would kick back on, this just caused my phone to enter a boot loop. Soft resetting and hard resetting both continue the loop, trying to enter recovery mode throws me back into the loop, entering download mode locks the phone on the small HTC screen. I tried to flash the current RUU onto the phone, but it won't proceed with the install due to a low main battery error despite the fact I've had it charging for 6 hours. The only thing I can think of doing now is sending it back in hopes they fix it, but theres a lot of information I ignorantly haven't backed up, and now can't access before sending it back.
If anyone has any helpful tips or ways to move forward I would be grateful.
you might be able to intervene in the process. when the phone restarts (ideally right after it restarts), hold Volume Down until the grey HTC logo appears, From here, you are in the download menu (or what is now basically the fastboot). If you are stock, you can unlock the bootloader if you havent already and flash a custom recovery (TWRP). Being in TWRP will give you USB access to your phone. And it will provide the ability to flash ROMs, including stock ROMs. Beyond that, you could always try a factory reset from either the download or the bootloader, but not much else I think you can do.
Someone might have more information than me though

Doing what you said flashes the grey HTC logo, but then goes back to looping.

Try the same thing, but this time with Volume Up, hold it until the FTM menu appears. From here, you should be able to access the bootloader.
If that also does not work holding Volume Up and Down at the same time takes you straight into the bootloader. Sadly, unless you are S-OFF, there is not a lot you can do from this menu. I dont think it accepts the fastboot commands, particularly fastboot flash commands. But if you can get into the bootloader, and then try each option, download, recovery, etc.
If you get into the recovery, it will be stock (unless you flashed a custom ROM). You have to press volume up twice to access the options, but if you get stuck, hold volume down and power and the touch keys on the bottom flash. After about 15 flashes the phone reboots.

Holding Volume up just continued the loop, I can get into the bootloader like you said, but theres not very many options, download locks the phone onto the HTC logo and doesn't proceed, the recovery option just restarts the phone into the loop.
Im afraid then, that I am out of suggestions for the time being.
Presumably your phone was charging whilst off, and not boot-looping?
Otherwise you can power down from the bootloader and try charging it. That may give you a better chance with the RUU

Mine does not charge either...and RUU does not work because of the battery < 30%
The funniest thing is that I've never touched this phone either (stock, no s-off, no unlock, no custom recovery, just updated via OTA to get Nougat), it just ran out of battery during the night and found the boot loop the morning after when I plugged it. Can't believe it could turn into a f...ing brick by itself.

No, I had to send it back to HTC and within 2 weeks they sent it back to me completely wiped and reset to factory.

My friends s7 completly bricked doing the N update. If you havnt done anything to your phone just take it back and get a new one.
Same exact issue here after the Verizon OTA update.
Failed after the first reboot after the update.
The storage was pretty maxed, wonder if that has something to do with it.
