vooc charger not charging - Oppo Find 7 and 7a

my find 7 vooc charger not charging any phone, few hour ago its charging my phone until 50% and its not charging again. any advice please?

Have you tried using other chargers or a USB to computer connection? It's possible that your VOOC charger simply kicked the bucket.

battery connection
i also faced frequent issue with my VOCC charging, sometimes its fast sometimes not, i knew that once above 80-85%, VOCC will stop.. but sometimes i cant get VOCC even at less 10% juice left.
but i found that removing the battery and reattaching it fixes the issue.. due to this my Carbon Back Case is damaged lol... too frequent.

I had the same problem. Oppo find 7S bought in china, used in Italy, after 1 year use the oppo VOOC charger stopped working :crying:, it doesn't charge any phone, the model of the charger is the old one, where you can't change the cable.
To solve the problem i bought the new one, and now i don't have any issue, hope this still work the next year. Greetings!
Ps.: Also my girfriend had the same problem with the VOOC charger, now she uses another charger too.

Same problem here, but is not the VOOC charger, but the battery itself....
I say it, because i have another batterie e and the VOOC charges normally.....
I presume some how, the original battery has reach a ending cycle of life....
Somehow i discovery this to help VOOC kicks in:
Use times to times another different charger, then VOOC. It seems sometimes to help.!

I discovered the same.
Not only has my phone shut down itself over night and showed 0% battery the next morning, but now also my vaac charger starts to charge for about 5 secs and then stops. Must be the battery and I'll contact Oppostyle now..

this is how my problem was solved

I had 2 issues:
1. VOOC not charging fast, but was charging, but extremely slowly. Including using other chargers
2. Phone not recognised when connected to computer via USB.
I took it in to the oppo service center in bangalore last month. THey fixed the issue by (what they claim) replacing the usb port and circuit within the phone . This took only 1 day. They also downgraded the software to the coloros 1.2 . They were very uncommunicative and had no proper process in place, including giving a handwritten receipt and bill!!!
But the total cost was inr830 or $12 so it was cheap and quick and it seems to have fixed the issue.

[Q] WILDFIRE Charge very slow?

My wildfire charge very slow!I put it into charger at 23.00 and in the morning at 10.00 he is still 80%.I use Rem_puzzle_rom v2.43 but on the cm7 problem was the same.Reinstal the rom and work fine for one week but then problem is back. Please help.I am sory for my english.
Hi, I have the same issue, but I did not find a solution yet.
try clearing battery stats from recovery....
and if this doesn't work then try flashing different recovery via unrevoked tool....
if this doesn't work then some problem is there in the charger......
I Wipe the battery stats. Not work.May be realy the problem is in charger.I have tried 2 diferent charger but their output current is between 200 and 400mA and phone is realy charging slow with these.I will asm some friends for charger and will try. Thanks for reply
Hi,
I tried installing both CWM 5.0.2.8 or 3.2 with no luck.
Is there anybody who may know the solution? Thanks.
My problem was the charger!!!Now is connected and i instal batery wipget pro and it showing 320mA.Before indication was 5 to 21mA when charger connected.I wiped battery stats and woks fine
I'll try nother charger tomorrow from another HTC. Thanks.
---------- Post added at 10:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 PM ----------
I installed Battery Monitor Widget from 3C and I see 6 to 20 mA AC. If it's the same issue, I'll check with a new HTC charger.
I tried from usb charge so is normal slow because the energy transfered via usb of the PC is less!
I tried using another charger and same issue. Battery monitor indicates between 10 and 60 mA, never more than 60mA and often at 20 mA.
Same charger, also mine, used with HTC of my colleague and indicates about 230mA on his phone.
May it be some fault on my phone?
I come from Italy, where we have 220V and I think it happened since I went to US plugging my phone with 110V adapter.
Please help.
Thanks.

You plug the 220V charger or 110V charger? If you plug the 220V 50Hz charger into 110V 60Hz if charger don't support that voltage you may damage the charger!I don't think you damage the phone becose the out put voltage of the charger is 5V DC so there is no worry about the phone .Try if you have friend with same phone to change the battries! If problem is fix you may buy a new battery.

I plugged the 220V charger into the 110V when I went to US for business.
I'm back in Italy now, and I'm plugging the 220V charger into 220V. I tried both another charger from a colleague of mine and I have the same issue. I bought a new battery and I have the same issue. I gave my charger to my colleague and everything is working on his phone (about 230 mA).
I have to send my phone to the HTC's support as I still have warranty.
I'll keep you posted on whether it's an hardware fault.

Let's see. I had to restore to the original ROM, but even that did not solve the issue. Lot of people seem to try calibrating battery with no luck.
I'll keep you posted in 2, 3 weeks as that's the time HTC repair phones here.

Hi all,
I got my mobile phone. It's now fully charging and battery life is now 2 full days. It was a hardware fault. HTC changed the whole motherboard.
Just have a small issue now: the green led is not shown when fully charged and the phone is turned off. But when I turn it on, it's 100% charged and if I plug it to the AC, it says "Charged". Any advice on this?
Thanks.
I think you must wipe the battery stats when reach 100%
Battery stats only holds the information/stats you see in the battery option in settings, it contains nothing more than the stats which tell you what has already used the battery. It in no way affects battery life, calibration or whether the led turns on or not and is reset every time you wipe data to flash a new rom or fully charge the phone to 100%.
Any app that tells you otherwise is lying.

Hi, do you have an idea of what may be this cause? If I leave my mobile turned off and plugged to the AC all the night, it shows the red light the next morning. I unplug it and switch on, plug to the AC and it tells me its' charged. Unplug it and shutdown, then plug and green light is shown now.
Thanks.

You probably have a dead battery...Someone who has seen this problem before could confirm.
The way you write is pretty hard to read, so you might wait a while until someone does confirm this .
1. Never charge the phone for the whole night.
2. I had the same problem. I changed my charger and now, it is perfectly charging. Try it.

thanx for suggestion, how much do i hav to pay for a new charger??
But you said you left it to charge via USB cable on your PC and it didn't charge properly. If you used the same USB cable with the charger, then the cable might be to blame. You should try a friends cable before buying a new charger.
If the charger does not work with the same USB cable you used to connect to the PC, your battery is most probably dead.

Charging all night isn't an issue.
The battery will charge to 100% then drop to 95% and back up, will cause no damage.
Also smaller and often charges are better for the battery as it slows the formation of crystals so the battery holds its capacity longer.

If you have used 2 different cables to charge and none worked properly, that is probably too big of a coincidence. Your phone has something broken; it's either the battery or the charging circuit in the phone. You should take it to a specialized phone service to see what's wrong. They will also try charging it before disassembling, and if there's nothing wrong with the phone, they probably won't even charge you anything.
If indeed they have to disassemble it, you should ask them if there will be any visible differences once they assemble is back. I had a cracked digitizer on my old One X and took it to service and replaced the display+digitizer(they come together) and, although the screen was new, it did not fit as snugly as before, so you could see light leaking out the side margins of the display.
They probably had many of these phones under repair and should know if this will be the case with your phone.

hey guys, I noticed a problem about the recharging time after updated LG optimus g to kitkat. now it takes really long hours to charge the phone completely, for example it needs at least 7-8 hours or even more. how can I solve this problem?

You should try too calibrate your battery
I'd recommend to use NEMA BATTERY CALIBRATION

I also have a problem with my LG Optimus G. I have Android KitKat, software 20C, rooted phone. Yesterday my phone battery dropped to 0%. I was sick and I didn't have time to charge it. Today I plug my charger but nothing happens. LED isn't working (no red colour), there is nothing on my smartphone display. What's the problem with this smartphone, I hope he isn't bricked.

i think it's my charger, because i tried my friend's charger from his Zenfone 5 and it charged my phone for just about 2hrs or so.
mine would charge for atleast 3 to 5% and after that it will not charge anymore, i wonder what happened? I am on full stock right now fully unrooted using LG flash tool. it's really a shame that my charger gave up so soon as i have only bought this phone(Brand New) not 2 months ago.

I had exactly the same problem. I forced them to change my main board under guarantee. It didn't help. I bought a new battery. Helped but charging time was 3 hours. I saw I couldn't transfer files via USB tried changing cable and I can charge 0 to 100 in 2:10 hours. 20 mins faster than the day I bought my phone. The stock charger is OK but the cable is a crap. Do what I did from bottom to top!

[HELP] Phone won't charge.

First it stopped fast charging. I then later it would only charge sometimes and then accidentally dropped it and now it wont charge at all. I don't know what to do. I tried another note 4 charger and it won't charge on that either. I just got the phone last Feb and it broke already? Is there anything to try before I take it somewhere to be fixed?
Phone won't charge on a note 4 fast charger
Tried 2 note 4 fast chargers.
When the phone is off it sits on the screen with the battery and the thunderbolt but never charges or shows a charge %.
Please help. The phone is in a pelican case. It doesn't look damaged from the outside but I don't know about the inside.
Edit: As soon as I posted this I tried again and it charged with fast charger. I don't understand what is going on.
Maybe the charging port is loose...You can try using wireless charging thought that will require a new back cover/ insert and a qi charger
Warranty. Go to AT&T Device Service Center
The battery could be defective as well. Try another battery or take it to ATT and tell them its not charging, they should have an extra battery to test with as well.
When you tried the other chargers, did you use their cable or the power block with your cable. My son had a similar issue with his Note 2 and did what you did but used his cable. Turns out the cable had a short in it. Replaced the cable and it charges fine ever since.

hi did you fix it ?
Yep. Was a bad wire. Not sure why others were not working at the time but eventually one started working and then they all started working again. I have no idea what was the problem.

Phone doesn't charge at 0%?

The title is a little barebones so I'll try to explain. I recently had to get a battery replacement due to the original one exploding, and all was great, until it hit 0%. It stopped charging. I thought maybe it was the battery again so I replaced it once more. The phone charges while it is on, but once it hits 0% and turns off, the battery refuses to charge at all. I thought maybe it could be the charging port, but wireless chargers don't charge it either.
I did a dumb too and didn't send it back to LG to get it fixed in the first place, so it's officially out of warranty and will cost $900+ to fix. So far nothing on the internet has helped at all, so I'm thinking this may be a unique issue and I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Try booting into download mode without battery.. Then try to connect it while phone is on.

Hi I've got this very issue, was it ever solved?
No help but disharging your battery to 0% is realy bad for your battery. Try to charge it as offen as u can. It will extend your battery lifetime
What chargers did you try to charge the phone with?
I've had multiple "bricked" devices live again after connecting them to a charger that supported Qualcomm Quickcharge (or at least supply more than the average laptop USB port).
