how to remove/uninstall safestrap and avoid the safestrap splash screen? - Amazon Fire Phone

i have a fire phone that i installed safestrap 4.01 for customized rom installation,
but i now want to sell the phone and want to reset the phone to the original stock rom.
however, even after i flashed the stock rom, i still have this splash screen of safestrap that shows two buttons: recovery and continue at the bottom.
so how can i remove this splash screen?
i searched quite extensively, but could not find a solution that works....
thanks!

It's quite easy and fast to accomplish (with a rooted device):
You need to have the safestrap app installed, within the app ---> tap on "uninstall recovery", reboot to see the result and finally remove the safestrap app from the device.
Afterwards, you can either unroot your device or sideload Fire OS again, if you want to sell it "untampered".

Question about TWRP on our T-Mobile phone.

Hey all,
I installed the TWRP manager on my phone and choose d851 for my device. When I choose to install recovery (I have TWRP from the purple drake install but the TWRP recovery is not full screen, so I am trying to see if there is an update for our phone for it) and I get the following message in the screenshot. I want to make sure this is correct to try and avoid bricking my phone. Can anyone help/confirm for me what it is asking? Thank you.

That is correct. So click yes
Try this fixed resolution version of TWRP 2.7.1.3 (the running dialogue is still small but the rest is fixed for our device) D851 ONLY!!!

It's a bad translation. OP, please try another translator. I can kind of get what you are saying, but without a good translation, can't help.

Post Unroot

I just unrooted my S3 to be able to update to the stock 4.4 rom using QBKings method. However, after doing this I went into the stock recovery just to make sure it was there and all and on the screen is a dead android with a red triangle. I did a quick google search but can't find anything about this.
What's causing the dead android symbol? The phone boots fine and other than that symbol the stock recovery seems to work so i don't understand why it's there.
Thanks in advance, I know this is a now outdated device but I still love it and want to figure out what's going on.

Another not turning on problem

Hello!
Because I will travel soon I decided to use my old HTC One m8 as an additional phone. I didn't use m8 for over 2 years now so when I started to play an update came up and obviously I followed the update. After that, I wasn't able to turn the phone on. It is stuck on white HTC logo screen. I am able to access bootloader but factory reset or recovery doesn't help. The phone is not rooted, I do not have any recovery tools installed or anything.
I checked a lot of threads on the forum and didn't find the answer. most of the times people were saying to access bootloader and do recovery/factory reset, but it doesn't help.

Not really a lot of options to recover a stock device, if no RUU is available from HTC for your version (which would normally be the tool for an stock device). And not RUU for your version AFAIK.
In that case, the way forward would be to restore a stock TWRP backup (6.13.206.5); which is a rather complicated process if you aren't familiar with modifying the phone. You will need to unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery TWRP, and restore the stock TWRP backup from the collection:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
Let us know if that is something you are willing to do. If so, we can give more details on unlocking the bootloader (which is mandatory before you can follow the guide linked above).

You're recommended to contact HTC to get phone's Stock ROM.

Luckily, i have found a boot.img file and it booted. One small thing though.. The internet is not working when i enable it says its off and when i go back to dropdown menu it auto disables itself.
Edit:I am using a gsi image of LineageOS 18.1 i will try another version of it or another custom rom.
Good news! I contacted HTC and they responded! I just have to give them some more info about the device, i will be back soon with a rom here.
