Hey I didn't know where to post this. I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge that has an unlocked bootloader. I already flashed twrp and have my phone rooted. I really want a stock android like team eos or cyanagenmod and I don't just want a launcher. If you can link me to a stock android rom/kernel if one exists that would be great.
Thankd

I believe the Exynos chip will prevent that from ever happening.
Team eos made one for ozbakistan note which is exynos

Hello,
Since there is no custom rom for LTE, i was wondering what is the reason behind that. Are the firmware files for the N7105 device not available or is the source closed unlike N7100. I am currently looking to buy the LTE version, however if the custom rom wont come i will rather go for the N7100 version.
Cheers
PS: I have never owned an android device before and currently use the Nokia N900 (running maemo linux)
1) There is a stock, rooted, deoxed rom available.
2) Samsung have hindered asop development at every pass so support is low.
3) Touchwiz is VASTLY improvesd. No where near perfect but most people are happy.
4) The devs are busy working on the 7100 which is understandable so give them time.
5) The other idea is a patch to make n7100 work. (But it's looking like the changes are more than skin deep.)

I'll be looking to list any XDA N7105 ROMs on my site when they are available. I'm picking up my Note 2 this Friday 16th November.:good:
Is it already working with new version on the note 2 and is it only for paranoid or also for rootbox or pac-rom(newest versions)

Not yet...
It's currently only available for officially supported devices (the nexuses and the oppo find 5 I think)
Until the source is released to legacy devices (like the note 2) we won't get it.
However someone has already ported it on the s3 and tilaksidduram has said he was trying to port it for the note 2 recently, do we may get it earlier.
In any case, it'll most probably be in a paranoid android rom before it's available in others such as rootbox.

I know no one will know for sure, but if the rumors are true and Google's Samsung Galaxy S4 is indeed the T-Mobile variant, then will we be able to take the ROMs that Google Releases and flash them to our devices as a sort of official AOSP build?
If everything is indeed the same then yes.

Identical hardware==we might have to patch the kernel or build.prop, but if any changes are needed they should be pretty simple.
(Famous last words, I know...)
If the Anandtech article is anything to go by, looks like the Google Edition S4 is the M919, aka the T-Mobile Galaxy S4

So I'm looking for a ROM with as little extra features and modifications as possible, since my girlfriend like the way my phone and tablet are set up* and has asked me to try and replicate it as close as possible on her phone.
What would be the nearest to this on the Optimus G?
* Stock Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with Xposed and root.

Anyone?

Paranoid android? Reportedly featureless like a stock aosp. Haven't tried it yet though. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51405891
Cyanogenmod Definetly. Or Vanir AOSP.
Your first stop should be cyanogemod. But since, your girlfriend wants to set it up closest to tablet revisions, you should go for Paranoid Android. I havent seen official PA downloads for Optimus G but there are 4.2/4.4 based projects floating in dev
PA seems to have begun over from scratch, so this might be a good choice. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone is cooking up some Roms for this model?
Getting awfully annoyed with touchwiz here... Not to mention the samsung bloated apps.

Just so you know you should not post Q/A threads in the Development section.
Also, if you are annoyed with TouchWiz I would suggest that you return the tablet and buy a Nexus 10.

You can stop using touchwiz easily enough - just pull down a new launcher. won't get rid of the files or guarantee that it's not using resources, but it's start. And you can do a root and remove the crapware...I found this link of bloatware you can remove, but it seems like a giant pain to try and do all that manually. I've started to look at creating a clean rom for the 10.1, but i have no experience so it may be a while before anything appears (if ever).
I noticed the source for the SM-T520 was available on the Samsung open source center, however the binary blobs is probably not available, so hardware axel is not possible... I wish I could buy a new nexus 10 tablet instead.
