[Q] which ROM is nearest to pure AOSP Kitkat ROM? (e975) - LG Optimus G (International)

So I'm looking for a ROM with as little extra features and modifications as possible, since my girlfriend like the way my phone and tablet are set up* and has asked me to try and replicate it as close as possible on her phone.
What would be the nearest to this on the Optimus G?
* Stock Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with Xposed and root.

Anyone?

Paranoid android? Reportedly featureless like a stock aosp. Haven't tried it yet though. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51405891

Cyanogenmod Definetly. Or Vanir AOSP.

Your first stop should be cyanogemod. But since, your girlfriend wants to set it up closest to tablet revisions, you should go for Paranoid Android. I havent seen official PA downloads for Optimus G but there are 4.2/4.4 based projects floating in dev

PA seems to have begun over from scratch, so this might be a good choice. Thanks!

[Q] Rom Closest to Nexus 4

This is a typical NOOB question and I know that we are not supposed to compare ROMs but I wanted to know which ROM is the closes it gets to a pure android experience, as if I was using nexus 4. Nothing extra.
Just look for a pure AOSP rom.

Closest would be Cyanogen's rom the rest are super tweaked, even cm is but it's the least that's for sure.

Another super NOOB question. Do all custom ROMs have trebuchet or some other third party launcher and not the default launcher in nexus phones?
I guess what I am looking for is something like a port of the Nexus 4 or close to it.
Closest would be Cyanogen's rom

We don't have a Nexus port.

About holo))) in paranoid

Is it already working with new version on the note 2 and is it only for paranoid or also for rootbox or pac-rom(newest versions)

Not yet...
It's currently only available for officially supported devices (the nexuses and the oppo find 5 I think)
Until the source is released to legacy devices (like the note 2) we won't get it.
However someone has already ported it on the s3 and tilaksidduram has said he was trying to port it for the note 2 recently, do we may get it earlier.
In any case, it'll most probably be in a paranoid android rom before it's available in others such as rootbox.

New features for 4.3?

So is there any new standout features in 4.3? I've seen a few of the new Roms but don't know if its worth switching yet. I'm on slim bean 6, haven't even updated to 8.

Not worth a switch. You'll lose stable 3G and get almost nothing new.

in my opinion, the best and stable kit kat rom is OmniMetal (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2550477), with Dirty_V kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2613655) and full PA gapps... i have 5 days with it and is just amazing...
Best ROM thread again. @Nephilim

I have had the galaxy nexus from its first issue date. I have tried many Roms. The best one IMO is clearly LiquidSooth.

[Q] Lollipop aosp rom?

Just a newbie question..
What are the odds of seeing a ported pure lollipop ROM from the developer previews to the G3? Is that even possible at this stage?

I'd imagine some devs are beginning to port it as we speak. The source code just dropped a few days ago if Im not mistaken so It will take a while to adapt to the G3. Also note, that we have to wait till we can bump our ROMs, because without that, we might as well be carrying around a laptop in our back pocket to fastboot it. Don't worry, im as excited as you are. Also note that I do believe LG is working hard on their Optimus skin for Lollipop as well. So that should be on it's way next month if we are being optimistic.
Thanx for your answer.
I'm very excited on what's coming next for us.
I saw the Dev build on a nexus and it was jaw dropping.
Optimus UI along with 5.0 is sweet idea yes, but not as close to an AOSP.
Currently running CM11 tethered, loving each second of it lol

i have worked on a port of lollypop since last month and the main problem is kernel that's not working with rom.. (kernel panic) we need lollipop sources for kernel at least
Isn't the source release helping you with that?
