I had some issues with trusted voice which allows you to text people from screen off/locked mode. I figured out that it was being disabled by my exchange email policy
so the two places to look are settings/security/trusted voice
and settings/google/search & now/voice/"ok google" detection
hope this helps someone

Hello All,
Has anybody gotten the T-Mobile email trigers to work after upgrading to WM6? I am not having any luck. I am getting the trigger SMS messages, but they are not transparent and do not trigger outlook to send/receive. This is by far, for me at least, the biggest drawback to the upgrade.
Any help appreciated.
You could try PushEffect to handle the trigger SMSs:

I just added them as email accounts in Outlook.
These are the settings:
pop3/smtp: myemail.t-mobile.com
user: yournumber:1 (depending on how many accts you have... they go :1, :2...)
pw: the password for your account
so like user: 1234567890:1
pw: xdadevrocks

Yes, I added them in this way too. I was even able to intall the myemail.t-mobile.com application that will retrieve the settins for you (the same one that came with WM5). that is not my problem. my problem is with the triggers. they are not triggering. the trigger SMS messages come, but they just sit in my inbox and do not trigger outlook at all.
I finally called T-Mobile tech support to ask what the deal was. Well, the tech informed me that the trigger functionality was removed from WM6. Bummer, triggers were as close as non exchange users could get to true push email. Now I have to decide if I will go back to WM5.

Use the MyEmail app to setup the account for myemail.t-mobile.com, sign in to my T-mobile and disable alerts (stops text messages), change the account settings in your phone "Automatic Send/Receive" for how often you want to update (I set mine for "Every 15 minutes"). It's not immediate updates, but should handle most cases.

PushEffect works beautifully! I just set up the account in My T-Mobile E-Mail to get my GMail, and set up the account on my phone that checks the My T-Mobile E-Mail. Then set up PushEffect to monitor that account, with the following settings:
Activate when SMS sender area contains:
[leave blank]
Activate when SMS body area contains:
ID:LOGINGIVENBYTMOBILE
For example, a t-mobile e-mail login could be 2223852434:1, so the SMS body area would be set to: ID:2223852434:1
Also make sure that SMS "Alerts" are set to ON for that account on the MyT-Mobile website.
Has anyone had weird experiences using mail with an exchange account?
Current issues:-
1. No notification tone, even though the in "Notification Settings", Email notifications and Notification sound are both on.
Note:- Notification tone for exchange mail account is the default notification tone, you cannot assign a unique tone with the exchange account (Really don't know why they wouldn't allow this). The same default notification tone works with other apps.
2. "Schedule" not working.
My settings;
Days: Mon - Fri
Peak time start: 8:00am
Peak time end: 6:00pm
Peak times (frequency): Every 30 minutes
Off-peak times: Manual
Have deleted and re-created the mail account a few times, but the problem remains.
Also had another issue, where I could receive emails, but couldn't send them. I rectified this by simply un-ticking and re-ticking the SSL checkbox.
Hi,
Same issue for me unfortunately. I tried everything (delete the account, changing the time, exchanging peak and non-peak definition) but it fails most of the time.
Can't find any logical explanation so far and looking at many forums, we are not the only ones having this issue.
The only way to be sure it works is to change the timer configuration each morning to re-initialize it.
It bothers me so much that I'm about to sell my Desire ...
Sh1t can the built in exchange - it's pooh!
Touchdown works well and is in constant development with good support. I know it's galling to spend another 20 bucks but it's well worth it.
www.nitrodesk.com
It also happens when using an IMAP account ...
I know this is a mail client issue, but I'm not about switching to another, I just want the existing one to work as planned
Perhaps the Desire update HTC is releasing (1.21.405.2) will correct that ...
So this has been driving me nuts recently. After adding my work email account to my new GS3 I keep getting this popup message telling me to update my security settings to access my account. After dismissing the message, sometimes I get email, sometimes I don't. After doing some digging it looks like this is a known issue between Samsung's ICS activesync module and Office 365. It's an issue dealing with provisioning and Samsung needs to fix it.
one of may threads at the office365 forum
The only "workaround" that seems to work reliably is buying different software to sync with Exchange, such as Touchdown.
Samsung needs to address this.

I stick with the stock TW Email because of it's Exchange group support. I send email to 10+ people at a time, without group support I'm doomed and no other email app has it!!
Hello, I have a question regarding syncing my calendar events with notifications in my email. I have tried clicking all the buttons in my settings re mail accounts and there is only sporadic notifications. Usually not! I want to sync 24 hr notices to my isp mail account rather than my Google Mail account. I can't sync to either right now. I know it is possible, because, occasionally right out of the blue I will get one......strange. If I put in test events, none come through. I have no problem with doing this with my Asus tablet. Would anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for any help. BILL
Gee---I can't believe this question has been here this long, with this many people viewing it, and no one has thoughts, or solutions. Must be time to try another forum.
I am just trying to use "OK Google" to make calendar events work -- and no matter what wording I use, it just responds with Google search results. Obviously frustrating, since I don't just want to set a reminder, I want it to add it to my Google calendar. Querying Androidwear forums just ended up with me factory resetting my phone, losing a week's worth of Moto Body data, and cursing the internet in general.
It has never worked for me either. What I do is use the Note to Self feature, which sends an email to myself. I then add it to calendar manually when I get back to my desktop.
