[Q] Rooting the phone and screen recording.

Hey guys, I have few questions about my phone.
The phone is fairly new and still has factory warranty. I wanted to root it but im afraid it will void the warranty. Is there a tutorial on how to 'unroot' the device so they wont find out about the root? Is it worth rooting the phone? I dont want custom ROM, just the root with official system (Lollipop 5.0.2 iirc)
I wanted to record my gameplay, there are many apps that record without root but they cant capture sound. They use microphone instead of the sounds 'in-game' making the sound quality very bad. Anyone know of an app that will record the sound without using microphone?
Also, if i have root can the apps that use GPS enable and disable it on the go? I know that this function was disabled in 4.3 but is there any way to get it working again?

Don't root your S6 Edge, on rooting process, a chip burns on S6 and disable Knox and Samsung Pay for ever, without a way to recover it

I dont use samsung pay anyway but the question is, will i be able to get my warranty back after i root the phone? On S3 I just had to flash back the official firmware (didnt reset flash counter and they still accepted it for repairs). Would disabling knox void the warranty?

Yes, you lost warranty
Before repairing, they check the chip which burns on rooting process, when it is burned, they will not repair your phone without pay money

root without tripping knox

Hi All.
got my shiny new note 7 ...
no overheating issues (not yet)
want to play mkv's on the gear vr but format not supported with sound
no 3rd party players supporting it surprisingly even with sideload
so only way i can see is covert on pc which takes forever and is just plain inconvenient
or root and add codecs then unroot (don't want to keep root as my banking apps don;t like it)
and i don't want to trip knox as yet.
so is there a method yet to do a temporary root without tripping knox n930f
That was covered here.

Root galaxy S9 question

Hi, can anyone tell me this, if root my device my Knox is tripped, later if i install a original rom can i have access again to security folder and Samsung pay etc.. again? or i dont have access anymore with original rom whith knox tripped.
Can anyone help me plz
Once you trip knox you're screwed with those apps.
IIRC now don't quote me on this, but Magisk from what I know allows the user to hide the fact that their device is rooted so that apps like GooglePay still work without detecting that the device has been modified. Not sure if it's the same with Samsung exclusive apps but I wouldn't risk it. If you use those features regularly I don't recommend it. But perhaps someone else might know more about this.

I'm picking up a G7 Play this week, is it good to root?

So I'm just wondering if it's going to be a hassle with this phone, I've been searching for a good phone to root and this one popped up in my area not to expensive and it's unlocked (of course)
What I want to know is, should I get it? Will it be a good phone to root? Is it worth it? And it's it still possible to root? As far as I know it's on 9.0 software and I want to know I can even root it before I buy it
Yeah u can root and install twrp with a GSI if u choose
Is there a way to just root a -1 model ?

Samsung Health & Pass not working!

Hi. How r u doing?
I have been rooted the device and remove it and flashing the stock firmware. But, the problem is I cant use the Samsung health or Samsung pay or Samsung pass. I see some solution but it needs to root the device again! and I don't want to root it again.
If anyone has a solution to my problem please help me.
Thanks.
You blew the efuse when you rooted it. The efuse is a micro chipset "fuse" similar to those used in a PROM, it's a one shot deal.

The stock firmware and/or Knox apps sees those flagged apps. The knox based apps are designed to be hard to hack. A modified Samsung Pay could be a security risk even if you could do it.
I don't think you can modify that on a stock rom; it's hard or impossible even on a rooted device.
Find a work around on your rooted device and be happy. If you want stock, replace the mobo.
Someone here might have a better plan for you though as I haven't played with this. There are others here looking for similar solutions, if you find any post them.
