How i can deodex my stock rom, this possible?

its easy to explain but a little tricky to do...you can use dsixdia to convert the app into deodexed then push them to system/app

[ROOT] Stock Galaxy S3 BootAnimation (Shutdown Animation added)

Hey guys! I just want to share this with you! I just wanted the original Galaxy S3 bootanimation and shutdown animation on my Galaxy S2, however as you know the S3 has a bigger resolution! Fortunately, I managed to extract them from the S3 Mini Firmware, which instead has exactly the same resolution as our S2.
Of course you need ROOT and I remind you that this has been tested only on Stock 4.0.4, so I don't know if it will work in other ROMS.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download both the zip files and extract them.
2) Copy the files "bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg" to System/Media
3) Copy the file "shutdown.qmg" to System/Media/Video/Shutdown
4) Reebot and Enjoy

I tested it in XWLPY and XWLPX, both Stock Odexed ROM, so I can't tell you but I assume it will work also in deodexed! You can do a nandroid backup and then restore it if it doesn't work

Are you using stock file browser? I suggest you use Root Explorer, to see System files and directories.

well idk if it good news or not but i found something interesting on MIUI form UK , i found that our beloved Xperia S show up again thanks to Xioami
with a new rom based on JB official release ,, idk if this for locked or unlocked bootloader or both

I told you!
For now no solution for V5, maybe someone port the rom and use stock bl, as it was on V4.
The main problem is that is that miui gave up on lt26i so we wont have an official solution.

Open the ROM.zip with 7zip, WinRAR or whatever and replace the current kernel with the stock kernel by copying stock boot.img and system/lib/modules folder into ROM.zip, that might work.

MIUI V5 is NOT based on Official Kernel from Sony.
It does not work on Locked Bootloaders... still hopping they make a version with that kernel, but for now no options for LB with MIUI.

ps: i tested only the keyboard .. and works great and as i looked into apks .. there is xhdpi resolution for all.

i tried the keyboard only ... now about the rest of apps you may try to copy them to system/apps , and then backup and delete the old apps , set the permissions and the owner , and than reboot your phone. See than if it works only on deodexed roms or not and report . Thank you.

No it doesn't work, as expected in stock odexed Rom. It misses corresponding odex file.

No need for correspinding odex file, bcs all this app from G2 is deodexed

Life stream is saying application nt installed in my unrooted G 975 international version. File manager is grt. Nice UI thanks fr the apps.

Im rooted and unlocked on stock rom but i was unable to flash keyboard.
After the flash i get "lg keyboard has stopped unexpectedly" all the time and now i can use only 3rd party keyboards,no stock.
Is there anything i can do to fix this?

basicaly you need to go into apps and delete keyboard data and cache. and than reboot. it must work , it's working for me.
i use the 10d version.

I did that and its not working again.
I have in my system/app folder LGEIME.apk and LGEIMEbin.apk,im not sure it has to be 2 keyboard apk's in there.
What do you have in your system/app folder.
Maybe i need to delete one of them.

well yes. delete both. and than flash the new one ... and than delete data and cache. and than reboot.

can't with that . unfortunately. be sure that you don't have two music apk's and you deleted data and cache of music.apk .

Deodexing stock H815 rom (especially LGSystemUI.apk)

Hello,
i'm coming from LG G2 for which i created several SystemUI mods. I want to make the same mods for G4, but i have some trouble deodexing the systemui. I don't swant to deodex (for the moment) the whole rom, just systemui in order to add the mods. I tried several tools (JoelDroid batch deodexer for Lollipop, SVA deodexer etc) and manual deodexing, but without any success. I'd like to use that thread as a discussion dedicated to deodexing the systemui and implementing more complex mods than just changing the icons. Is there somebody else who's working on this at the moment and can share some experience?

I need to deodex the lgsystemui in order to inject some smali code. I want to put next alarm on the lock screen and to activate the two lock screen animations for clear and cloudy weather.

after some digging around i found why sva was not working. i'm deodexing the whole rom at the moment and i'll take the deodexed systemui. cross your fingers to make it work on an odexed rom

Ok, deodexed lgsystemui is working like a charm on an odexed rom. I was able to successfully activate the missing weather effects Expect soon some mods from me

Are you working on 10c or 10d? Or even 10f?
