[q] deodexed rom - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

How i can deodex my stock rom, this possible?
thanks!

its easy to explain but a little tricky to do...you can use dsixdia to convert the app into deodexed then push them to system/app

Help w/ SystemUI.apk

Hi!
I want to make some modifications to the SystemUI.apk (color, etc.) in the stock GT-S5660M ROM, but it is odexed, and I do not know how to deodex it
Can someone who is good at stuff like this please deodex this file?
It is attached, much appreciated!
Dude , can deodex the file for you that's easy , lolz but there are ways of changing the theme without deodexing , Google "Ultimate online theme kitchen" can change colours and generally theme , failing that and if your feeling adventurous search dsixda kitchen on xda and that can deodex whole rom for you , if you want and then you can add/remove/mod all you like , I've been there and done that on android learnt so much from the devs here and elsewhere , read , read , read then ask GOOD questions
Hope this helps you PM me if you don't figure it out and I'll deodex that file for you
Thanks for the tips! I have tried UOT kitchen but it wouldn't let me submit to kitchen for some reason.
Anyways trying the other kitchen tomorrow

Wait, so do i unpackage the apk and mod or the .odex?

can I deodex the odexed ROM on Windows/linux by removing odex files?

Hey, this is a little bit noob question, I actually didn't find the answer from google search and I have to go sleep really soon..
So my questions is that can I deodex the odexed OTA JB ROM by removing .odex files? then do I have to replace these apps or what..?
I don't see odex file in /system/bin/ which was in Gingerbread ROM on ZTE Blade.. so the init.rc does not need editing?
You need to actually deodex the apps themselves. Just removing the .odex will not work.
There should be updated apps to deodex apps from within windows. Just Google "howto deodex"

Deodex Stock ROM

Hi there guys! Is there any way to deodex the ROM file that we use to install the stock ROM using ODIN?
+1 for question

I've always wondered about this since there are many deodexed custom GB ROMs out there but I can't find any stock deodexed ROMs. Actually I've found one although it's CWM flashable and it's not my baseband of choice.
I know that feeling so I also wait for an answer ...

It's a bit too complicated in my books. Isn't there a simpler way to deodex the stock ROM?

actually for me it's the simplest because you only need to set up the kitchen and you are all set. kitchen will deodex it and make it a flashable zip for you
about other simpler one, maybe others can help
Will it be okay for you if you're the one that will do it for me? I'll be thankful enough for the help.

Odex or Deodex?

Hey guys, im running a custom ROM on my note 2 and I wanted to get back to my stock rom. So I read that I could do it via Odin but when I went to download the files there were 2 categories, 1. Odex and 2. Deodex.
So if you'll could help me decide which one I should download then that'd be great.
Thanks!

There are tons of topics about this.
Search and you will find.
I think the main thing is that deodex ROM can be completely moded and themed. The other not...
But for more info: search...

I think we always are faster odex for theming but I think it's better deodex
