I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 MN SM-N910P. While trying to root it, it bricked and is stuck in bootloop. When I try to flash firmware through Odin I get the error eMMC Write Fail:Aboot
What does this mean and is it possible to fix? I can get into download mode and the TWRP bootloader.
Download a rom (zip) on your pc and save it on a ext sd card and then flash using twrp. (select install zip from ext sd.. Worked for me.

do you have an ext sd card ? You can load a rom on that and just flash it from the ext sd card.
Do you still have a rom you can access to flash ?
If not try TWRP and flash it in odin and see if will let you flash a rom that way. down a bit is the odin flashable .tar file for it
http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/104
if not then you might need to download a pre-rooted rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426 and flash it in odin.
Those are a few of your possibilities.
I got stuck in the dreaded boot loop on my Tmobile Note 3.
I am unable to access twrp.
I tried restoring factory Odin, no luck.
Then tried restoring from KIES, also no luck.
Still in a boot loop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get boot loop after restore from TWRP, do the the following steps
1. Get the TWRP for ODIN ===> http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/hltetmo/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.8-hltetmo.img.tar
2.Get the zip file from ===> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507403 from "firasusman"
and put it on your external sd card
3.Get into download mod (Volumn down+Home+Power)
3. Run Odin and select TWRP on the PDA.
4. After "PASS" from odin, get into recovery mode (Volumn up +Home+Power)
5. Install "Brick_Loop_FIX_afterRestoringBackup.zip" from "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507403"
6. Reboot
7. Done.

Hey guys im a nexus user
I gave my nexus4 to my young brother and brought a note 2
i rooted it and flashed resurrection remix used it for some 2 weeks
now i want to flash DN3 (Ditto Note 3)
What is this MJ4 bootloader or wifi patch? Just cant understand
Kindly Help, my fellow xda members
Thank you.
Not mj4, it is mj5 bootloader that suggested, if your boot loader is old you won't be able to connect wifi and you'll face a lot fc/freeze. You have to flash the bootloader through PC Odin PDA tab and here is the bootloader
https://www.dropbox.com/s/183hm46blv3ae1r/BL_N7100XXUEMJ5_1903221_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.tar
Best of luck.

Well, sir its a new recipe for me
i dont know how to do all this some steps will be good
First root your device
Install philz recovery v 5.15
Download the rom
Place it in your sd/extsd card
Install latest samsung usb driver to your pc
Go to download mod (vol down+home+power button all together), press up buuton when the mod asks so.
Install/PC Odin software at your PC
Open Odin
Connect your device with pc in download mod
On the first top left tab of odin color should be changed
Press the PDA tab and locate the bootloader
Press start
After a while the upper left tab will show PASSED
device will be rebooted, go to cwm recovery (vol up+home+power)
Wipe data, wipe cache and from advance wipe delvik cache, then go to install zip
Then locate your rom zip .and flash the rom
That's all.
Go to this thread for root, read and follow as instructed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896696
Here is philz touch cwm recovery, you have to flash this through PC Odin, same process, flash this after root is done because with this you have to flash the rom.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rxqufvjqh9wrtbd/philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5
And you have the bootloader link on my previous post.
So
First, Root
Second, flash ClockWorkMod (cwm) recovery through PC Odin software.
Third, Flash mj5 bootloader through PC Odin
Finally, Flash the rom through cwm
Regards.

Hi.I am noob whit all this.My phone is s3 t999 running on cm11 kitkat rom.recently start to rebooting so often on its own.now is stuck in boatload .I can go to recovery but can't recognized sf card(error mount sdcard).wipe all ,still same problem.Try to flash new rom from external sd and getting status 7 error.Any idea suggestion, link how to fix this. Thanks .
Please do Factory Reset. Then update your Recovery.
Thanks Perseus71 .did factory reset but nothing.still don't recognize internal sd.any other solution. I appreciate any help whit this problem.thanks
You will need to provide some more details before I can help further. I need to know
1. Current Recovery,
2. Current Rom & Kernel Versions.
3. Android Version.
Also post what were you trying to do when original issue with external SD card started.
CWM 6.0.4.5 recovery
CM11 ROM, don't know kernal version couse don't have access to the internal SD
Android 4.4.2
Current ROM is from January build. Didn't do anything, just went into reboot on its own, never finished process of rebooting instead stay in bootloop. I tried through recovery but can't recognize internal SD,error mount SD.Try to flash new CM 11 from external SD but got status 7 error. I will try to upload pics of screen first when got in recovery then when try to flash ROM.
Once again thanks for all your help and time put in to this, trying to fix problems. I really appreciate. Once again thanks.
I'd like to see those screen. Upload when you can.
I also would like you to Flash back to Stock Root66 before trying again with CM.
Also can you tell me where I can find other recovery you suggest or if its not to much to ask you to post link for it.Thanks.

Please Try TWRP from here. Flash that file via Odin 3.07.
Once the flash is successful, please try to wipe Cache and Dalvik.
Hi Perseus71.I did what you recommend. Odin flash twrp and message sead pass but when rebooted went in bootloop again. When I went in recovery is still CWM not TWRP.Any other solution to try. I Appreciate your time you spending to solve this problem. Thanks once again.

Can't Read the Log.
After flashing/rooting I cannot move anymore zip files between pc and tab 3.Stock rom in place,SM-T210 wifi version.......Sorted.
Try faxtory reset , flashing and rooting again or if you have flashed a new rom maybe it's because of an unsuccessful download
