Soo.... I have JOINED the G3 bandwagon!!!
I purchased a G3 , rooted it , installed TWRP.
Now I need a very stable rom but Im having difficulty picking as I dont understand whats compatible with my phone.
I have a LG G3 D855
Software is VER20U-EUR-XX
Im on android 5.0 stock.
Honestly unless you're gonna install aosp roms I would stick to stock + nova launcher and some tweaks

Problem is I got the earphone hissing problem on stock rom
Hi there @Heloooo you should decide between this two roms:
1. CloudyG3 ( version 2.5 ) ( based on stock )
Or
2. Blisspop ROM ( based on CM )
The Paranoid rom is also promising just like the PAC which is promising too.
CloudyG3 is probably the best sollution for G3. Fast, stable, completely compatible with G3 hardware..
I would go for cloduy g3 1.2 with stock kernel just some minor tweaks like sched and oom.
for the sound problem there is a solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59601465&postcount=150

Typing "wondering" in a haste without being bothered to check spelling prior to posting message.
Many of you know exactly what "oversharpening" is... for those who not, just google "g3 oversharpening" or check this article.
After hours spent trying almost everything i finally managed to remove that. Check in the 2nd thread to see the difference.
Here you go... just flash the kernel in recovery but remember to make a backup of the boot partition before, just in case it will not works.
Remember... the only weird thing is that you have to turn off the screen and then on again to make it works. Just the 1st time after the boot.

Works for me
D855
Why is it that the sharpening is still there after boot but it's gone once the display has been off and on?

Maybe there's a piece of code that needs to be run after the device powers on.

I went ahead and flashed anyway. I had a backup. I'm just waiting for a lollipop t-mobile stock rom. All the 5.0 roms I've tried won't keep signal and they won't read my 128gb memory card. Thanks for your work.

Before it's asked, this won't work on D851 Lollipop until the full version is released from T-Mobile or LG because we need the Lollipop kernel from it. Just wanted to get that out of the way
Thanks for this, don't know what lg was thinking but the screen really shines now
Work on ZoneRom.
Thanks for this.
finally.. thanks! Now we just need some 3rd Party kernels to add this!

May work depending on what ROM your running, there should be a Lollipop build available for the G3 soon so you shouldn't have to wait long hopefully.
LG G3 Keyboard for Lollipop rom
Something new about LG G3 Keyboard for Lollipop rom (I9300)...?
Hello our developer's first I wants to thank you very much for your hard work .. And I wants to ask if its possible to port GPE ROM for our lg g3 d855 or oxygen OS ROM and thank you very much .. Respect for all of you
No answers?
Not possible. There is no GPE G3. If you want stock there are debloated stock roms that are basically the same as a GPE.

I did try it and it was a nice ROM but i might go back to it
Hello, i am trying some roms but i am trying to find something stable, able to root and unlock bootloader.
I had before lolipop 5 rooted and unlocked the bootloader but it was too laggy and draining battery. So i was thinking to try a CM but i read for some issues and when i installed it i had issues with the wifi and the cellular signal.
Do you have something to recommend? I would like a lollipop based Rom but i can try anything.
Thank you in advance
