Hi Guys,
i am really confused and a little bit angry. The Following happened to me today:
My Phone (Unrooted, Locked BL) was behaving weird this morning.
It just randomly crashed and wouldn't boot up.
Eventually i got it to boot once or twice, but still it crashed, shut down and Bootloop.
A Reqular Factory Reset did nothing. now i'm trying to install the Regular KDZ-File for the H815, but things are just not working as expected.
Has anyone else had this problem before?
Is it normal that the LG Flash Tool is on 1% for over 5 Minutes and nothing changes on the Phone screen?
I want to know what has broken my phone so bad, cause this time, I just used it the way it was supposed to be used, no hard drops, no rooting, no changing of software in any means.
First LG Phone and it broke with no warning and no explenation. I'm a little disappointed right now.

The same happened to mine. Are you able to get to download mode by powering off your phone and plugging it into your computer? Im able to flash stock ROMs but nothing helps. The phone reboots by itself at random times and makes it into the operating system a few times but is never usable.

Hey,
yes i can get into download mode.
I am able to flash files, but the phone wont boot up anymore.
I just want to save my data, but i guess i wont be able to do so.
So i have to get to the store and get a new g4
Luckily i made a backup of my two weeks ago, so not much will be lost.
I also send an email to the LG customer Service, will post their reply here too.
I am really disappointed by LG at this point, i usually had motorola phones and they didn't have random errors like this one.
I switched to LG, cause G4 sounded awesome, but this error is making me sad.
I am really thinking that i won't buy another LG Product, which is making me sad too, cause usually most things made by them are great.

//==============First Request by me:======================
Hello dear LG-Service Team,
i just bought the premium product LG-G4.
Since some days, the Phone is beginning to hang and reboot, resulting in a bootloop.
Sometimes the phone boots, than optimizing Android for about 30 minutes (100+ Apps installed). After this happened, i kann use it again, but not fully.
To shortcut eventual questions:
The Phone is in factory State, no Custom Rom installed. The bootloader is locked and the Phone has not been rooted.
The mistake seems to come from your firmware.
I am really disappointed, because i paid a lot of money and no have a product which is barely usable.
I switched to LG because of the G4 and i don't want to regret this decision.
Kind regards

Email and response, translated by me, so there might be some mistakes...
I don't like the response, it feels like not being taken seriously.
Well, nevertheless, i will go to the retailer and will see what happens.
I will keep you updated.
What do you think of this response?
Greetz Esok
That response is terrible lol. I called in and they said they do not support my phone because it is an international version. So there was nothing they could do for me.
I have a similiar issue, but mine was due to a OTA update, and I didn't know about the download mode until now.
Thanks.
Any tips when I can get into the download mode? I just wanna recover my personal data (images, and texts)? Flashing STOCK image would preserve the personal data right?
While your phone is off, plug it into your computer while holding volume up. If you are using LG flash tool to flash a .KDZ firmware file, you will come across an option that says Normal flash or CSE Flash. Normal flash will not wipe data, while CSE Flash will. I have flashed stock images and it didn't work. Hopefully it works for you though.

+1 I'm in same boat and exact same issue with my H815. I love the device but this is unacceptable.
I'm having the same problem, it just happened to me all of a sudden and now I can't even get to the boot animation. I've been able to get into recovery 2 or 3 times but usually it just restarts before it even gets there. I recently updated to the newest xposed framework (though I've restarted just fine a few times after I installed it), did anyone else here do the same?
When I get home from work I'm going to keep attempting to fix it, I've flashed my current TOT but it failed after rebooting. I don't know if I'm having the same problem as everyone else but I'll update if I can find a solution.
same issue here on the at&t 810. Starting about 3 days ago I started getting random reboots + bootloops. Sometimes it would boot to the LG logo and stick, sometimes to the AT&T logo and stick, sometimes to the OS and freeze after the lock screen appeared. I can get into the OS and use it for awhile, then it will restart and it all begins again. 2 factory resets so far and no dice. I am rooted on 10e but have a warranty device on the way which undoubtedly will be on a higher firmware and will likely miss out on the potential coming bootloader unlock. At this point I am probably going to sell on craigslist and get a 6p. The phone is great when it works and I love the size, the looks, and the screen, but the lag and these reboots are unacceptable.
Just a short update by me:
I gave it to the retailer, they said it would take about 10 Days.
I hope this stuff won't happen again or this was the last time i am buying a LG Product.
I think i would have been better off by sending it directly to LG but nevertheless, maybe giving it to the retailer will make my warranty stay longer
I will keep you updated, including firmware Version the phone has after sending it in and so on.
All of the sudden my phone today just froze leaving me with a black background and no animations, the phone is very hot if I try to use it on that moment. Even when I reboot the phone stays very very slow and says system it's no responding.
What can I do? Even when a Reboot it some times works normal then suddenly does it again.

Sounds like a heat problem in your case.
What happens if you pull out the battery, wait 10 minutes to let the phone get cold and than reboot?
Well, no luck on my end. I could only even get into recovery one out of every 50 times or so that I tried, and when I managed to I wasn't able to sideload any system software because it wouldn't initialize the driver (my computer recognized the phone just fine, except the ADB portion). Clearing the data did nothing either. Luckily I'm on Sprint and the phone's being recalled anyway, so I just walked in and they swapped it no questions asked. At least after flashing a TOT and clearing the data they shouldn't have an easy way to tell I was rooted or anything.

Thanks for replying, I completely restored phone today and was a success. No more black background.
same random rebooting issue here as well. and I just bought this phone brand new from a 3rd party :/
Update: I seem to have gotten past the problems after updating to 10n. Now running stock debloated 10n rom with no reboot issues (so far)
Update 2: Had 1 - 2 cycle bootloop on 10n

I don't see how you giving your phone to your retailer will extend your warranty. That makes absolutely no sense, since your warranty begins from your date of purchase.
My phone also ended up with the bootloop and having to exchange with a new unit. I'm on the TMO Variant H811.

Actually German Law is a little bit different.
Regular warranty is not what i meant in my post, i meant the "Gewährleistung" its an additional kind of warranty given out by the retailer.
There are some cases in which this "Gewährleistung", which usually lasts for about 2 Years is made longer. Mostly this happens when the retailer would have to send in a product for the third time, they basically give out a new one, which will be treated like a NEW device. So new Warranty, new "Gewährleistung".
I hope this somehow made sense
Today i got my phone back.
They repaired it.
Everything is like it was before, so i am pretty sure they didn't change it.
Firmware Version is 10d.
The Phone is working so far.
Will keep you updated if anything changes.

Hello,
Today, while I was using my phone, it restarted itself and has been stuck at a boot loop almost entirely since then. It has successfully booted up 2-3 times but will usually restart itself within 30-45 seconds of booting and then will be stuck in a boot loop again. When it has started up its usually after it has been bootlooping for a while. I have an H811 , I'm rooted and using xTreme Rom v2.0. I have had occasional random reboots here and there before but the phone always booted right up again without any issues. I haven't done anything with root/recovery since early September.
I've tried doing a factory hard reset without any luck. My phone booted up after I tried the hard reset and it was like the reset didn't happen. I can't boot into TWRP. I can boot into download mode and I tried to reset using kdz. It got to 100% but the the phone restarts and is back in the boot loop (then the lg flash tool gets an error and force quits). I've tried removing my sd and sim cards, I've tried swapping to a different battery, I've tried leaving the battyer out and letting the phone cool down. Nothing is working. I have noticed that when the phone is going to boot up correctly the full LG animation plays. When the phone is going to boot loop I only get a static LG Powered by android image.
Since I tried and failed to reset to stock using kdz, the phone no longer boots up past the LG screen. I've redownloaded the kdz file and tried to reset again with the same results. When I have it in download mode Windows recognizes the phone but it says there's an issue with the MTP driver. I've reinstalled the drivers and I still get that the MTP function isn't working correctly.
Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue. I have T-Mobile G4 that is NOT rooted. I bought it on release day. I too would get random reboots, particularly after the recent security update. I also noticed that the operating temperature was really high, a lot lately. I thought it was a rogue app (clean master). Anyway, I updated a few apps and installed a few watch faces. Suddenly, my phone was drained prematurely. Plugged it into a quick charge charger when all the fun begins. Early on it would boot to the home screen but would reboot a minute or two later. Then it stopped booting to home. On two occasions that I caught, it was starting up like a firmware update just installed with the "Android is starting 1 of 143 apps" type of line. After seeing that and still not getting to home, I figured I might as well factory reset it. Well I was amazed to discover that a factory reset yields the same boot loop. All I get is the LG logo.
Defeated. I go to my local TMo retailer where I bought the phone only to find out that I have to wait for delivery of a replacement. I'm in Jump btw. I did notice that when the phone will boot to home screen for whatever length of time, the LED would work. The LED does not work during a boot loop. My research on this issue uncovered an alarming trend on the Internet. No solution other than replacement. No cause has been identified either. Without proof, these are my top suspicions: Quick charge, 128G SD, apps moved to SD. My hunch is quick charge. All of my chargers are Qualcomm certified quick chargers. and I use them 95% of the time. I would hate to add LG to my list of boycotted Android vendors under Samsung.

Sounds like the boot loop issue is a decent sized one- quite a few others, from different variants, having all having a similar issue. For me I was walking with my phone checking facebook when it restarted and got stuck. I definitely notice the LED issue too. I'm not on jump but will likely go into T-Mobile today and see what they tell me.

Exactly what happened to me. now after CSE flash of KDZ, it won't start at all. just boot looping. also after hard reset.
I was just wondering if anyone else has an issue with their Note 4 rebooting randomly with no external input. This started happening with the Android 6.0 update both on the download from here and the AT&T official release, Any Ideas? I've already purchased a new battery due to a separate issue, any idea?
I had the same problem. The phone would freeze and randomly reboot. Sometimes the system crashes and asked me for the typed-in password (not fingerprint). Sometimes when I charge the phone, and unplug the power cable, the charging led stays lit and the battery has to be pulled. I decided to switch the battery with my wife's Note 4 and see if the effects remained. So far I haven't had any problems after switching the battery, so I believe the battery may be the cause of all these issues. I'll keep you updated on the issues.
I'm back. The battery replacement didn't fix the reboots. I think my phone's hardware is permanently damaged. :crying:

its something completely different to this topic
I've been having the same issue, started about 2 weeks ago. phone would start being sluggish then if I continue tapping on screen, it'll reboot. At least once I saw it go into recovery & reinstall firmware(?). Another time it just sat at the bootloader screen waiting for software download or something till I took out the battery. Most likely it's a software issue related to 6.0 update or updates afterwards. taking out the SD card helped a bit.
but basically got annoyed & upgraded to LG V20 today. Coincidentally, there was another person at the AT&T store with a Note 4 having the same issue.
Mine just rebooted twice on me a while ago, first is emergency calls only now the reboots then what. And yes the slow charging is a problem too. MM got serious issue dam att

use wakelock its an app u get it from play store.it makes ur cpu always running.some how it fixes the problem of random reboots. dl it and set it to partial lock (the 5th option)
Same problem. Just started a few weeks ago. REALLY frustrating having to enter my password every 3-4 minutes. NEVER buying another Samsung, too many damn issues with this phone.
My reboots tend to happen once the phone goes below 60% battery. It's fine above 60%. Once it goes below 50%, the reboots tend to happen with any intense network activity. The phone will often go from 50% to 22%. I forgot what the 30's and 40's look like. I will try the Wakelock app.
Ugh. I posted about this a few weeks ago. It's started happening more frequently and will occasionally go into a boot loop or show 0% battery even though there's a charge.
Has anyone found any solution? I haven't tried wiping / resetting but I'm getting close to trying it.
Here is a cautionary tale for you. My completely stock, unroooted phone started acting the same exact way. On the 4th or 5th battery pull (to fix a frozen screen) it just crapped out. It's totally unresponsive. Deader than a door nail. Tried everything. The download mode, discharging by power button depression/battery removal, etc. Adb shell command does not detect it. Nor Odin. Computer throws up a qhsusb_bulk error when I plug it into pc. I have NO CLUE how to fix it & I am desperately seeking a solution. Please proceed wisely with your oddly acting phones & don't let this happen to you.

Same issue. Just got off the phone with Samsung support, all possibility of having this particular phone with this particular issue sent in for evaluation has been suspended. Translation, they know it is an issue and will not stand by the changes they push to their products (latest OS). I am researching the prospect of legal action since THEY pushed the new OS against my request. Shouldn't that affect the warranty or coverage? Consulting my attorney friends as we speak. Will let you know. I am not sure how WakeLock will help, it is not going to sleep, it is repeatedly power cycling through a kernel process until the battery overheats or it reboots.
Same issue
Since Marshmallow, my 910A will get sluggish or freeze, shut down, sometimes reboot and sometimes just brick (temporarily). Sometimes--more often in recent days, I get a "dll_mmc read fail" message and the target that says do not stop downloading. No matter what I've tried--factory and soft resets, cache clearing, battery pull, replacement, and SD card switch, contacting AT&T and Samsung rep--it doesn't seem to change. This is a daily issue and becoming more frequent. Any suggestions or do I just need a new phone? Thank you.
Hello,
Since 2 weeks ago my phone has been started acting all weird. It started with my Phone freezing and restarting itself one morning. It showed the LG logo for a few seconds, then went black and the same thing repeated. LED did not start blinking at first but after a few loops the LED came on, the animation played and phone turned on nicely. No more such problems during the rest of the day.
Fast forward 2 days. It got worse. The freezing and restarting happened more often and at one point it was in the LG logo -> black screen -> LG logo loop for a good 10 minutes before it booted. It also drains my battery about 10% every single time.
So I decided to do a Hard Reset when I managed to keep the phone running long enough. The hard reset process itself worked flawlessly, no issues during the reset what so ever. I though the problem was over until a few minutes after the hard reset when I was reinstalling my apps, it froze and restarted again.
I started googling about the issue and found a few matches. Some people suggested replacing the battery and some suggested putting a piece of paper between the battery and the SIM card slot from which I did the latter. That actually worked for a few days until the reboots came back and it got worse by the day when it finally was completely unusable since it kept restarting after booting up (usually it didn't even get to that point). Then I decided to try a new battery because it was the cheapest option available at that moment.
At first all looked good on a new battery but still, just a few minutes after rebooting the phone from a new battery it froze yet again and restarted itself. So 25€ wasted on nothing.
At this point I'm starting to run out of options and really would not like to buy a new phone since my G3 is only two years old (warranty just ended in October 2016).
Any suggestions are more than welcome at this point.
Best regards,
Taavi
Yesterday I tried flashing the stock V30B marshmallow ROM onto the phone using LG flash tool 2014. It lasted without restarts for about an hour and then it all started again.
So in conclusion:
A) It's not the battery.
B) It's not the software.
C) Thus it must be the hardware.
Since my warranty is void already, the repair costs would probably be quite large.
I think the only chance left for me is to suck it up and buy a new phone.
It was fun while it lasted though. RIP.
Funny thing is that after I removed my SIM card, the issues have stopped for ~24 hours. Yesterday I was able to browse reddit and watch videos for almost 2 hours straight with no issue when I had no SIM card in the phone. I will try inserting the SIM card again after I have fully recharged it to see if maybe it has something to do with the SIM card connection.
Put in the SIM card and it didn't even last 24 hours before restarting. Took it out again. Unfortunately it now restarted even without the SIM card so it still must be some hardware failure.
Same issue here. Changed battery, factory reset, rooted and TWRP+CyanogenMod 14.1 flashed and SU granted.
Constant reboots. Sometimes bootlooped until I remove battery
Having the same problem. Tried new battery but it turned out to be a cheap clone that was worse than old battery. Got another from mbuynow which last longer but still restarts but not that often. Tried the paper trick to to avail. Also tried the LG suite to see if it helped but no luck. Running marshmallow 6.0 and have done a full reinstall. Is this likely to be hardware problem?

Cannot tell for sure but seems it is a hardware problem which is really sad since besides the restarts the phone is still in very good shape. I would take it to repairs but as my warranty is already void it would make sense to simply buy a new phone and sell the current one to parts.
I have the same problem... I flashed CRDroid or something with Android 7.0, it booted normally, but then, restart after few minutes... It can boot normally with the usb to computer, but not with charger. It can also boot to twrp, wipe, install and fix the system works, installing other roms works too, and they can boot normally, but it shut down, as soon I remove the cable... I thought it was nougat rom, it change some in system files or drivers like battery options... I'm out of options...

I have 2 phones. This thing seems to puff exactly after 2 years coz they were bought in difrent times and both of them emerge this issue after 2 years for each. boootlops were after few minutes from start. In case of first one new battery was a bingo but i did not investigate second - im going maybe for new phone. Funny thing. Maybe product life time was to planned to good(for producer)?
I was a great phone, longest I have and most customised... Very agile, never had bricked, bootlooped or failed to flash... Thank you for your great support, LG G3.... Rest in Peace... If someone can bring it back to life, I'll be back to that.
I'm counting on someone stumbling on a fix as well. It's still an awesome phone expect for this stupid thing.
I had similar issues but I realized that different SIMs seemed to work with the phone. Went to my carrier and requested a new one. Since then, no issues. Maybe something with the sim card slot?

It happens even when my SIM card is not in the phone. It could easily be the SIM card tray but cannot confirm without taking it to repairs.
Did you try disabling Location?
(I had random reboots when the battery went to 25% and when i disabled Location services,it got fixed)

One of the hard resets I did was from full charge and I didn't enable anything, including location. It still went into the reboot loop.

It might be a hardware problem in some LG G3 phones.
It began rebooting and bootlooping after 2 days, that i had disabled the location services.
Now i'm thinking of getting a new battery but i don't really think it will do any effect..
So i might buy a new phone..

I had the same problem as you,i bought a new battery and everything got fixed.(you need exact the same Model of battery so when you go to a store note the model of the battery)
Temporary Fix
1- Remove the SIM, turn on the phone, put it in Airplane Mode.
2-Insert the SIM turn on the phone.(Don't change Air mode).
3- Turn off auto backup/restore in settings.
4-Go to network setting>Preferred network Type.
5-Turn Off the Airplane Mode and immediately SELECT THE 3G only(Before it catches the signals), in some phones WCDMA only.(Do not Select 4G/LTE/2G).
6-Done
7-Restart the phone.(Now it will not reboot)
Drawbacks:
In 2G signal zone, There will be no signals.
Its a hardware problem,But its a way to trick it.

Hello Smart People,
I have an unlocked at&t note 4 and for the past 2 week my phone will freeze for 1-2 minutes then it will be useable again or if it is not doing that will randomly reboot when I am using the phone. So benging of last week I called tmobile since I have them now. I spoke to tech support. Told them my problem and they had me turn off the phone and take the sd card out and then boot into recovery to clear the cache. That did not work. Within 5 minutes of have the phone back at the home screen it froze again. So tmobile said that it was not the sd card in the phone. Told me to turn the phone off and put the sdcard back in the phone. Then I rebooted back the home screen. They said that at this point all I could do was back the info on my phone and do a master factory reset of the whole phone. I told them I could not do it right then and there. They said if it still happens after the master factory reset then you will need to get the phone reflashed to have the software fully reinstalled and they could not do the reflash of the software since my phone was an at&t branded version of the note 4 so I would have to call at&t and see if they could reflash it for me. So the next day I backed up my phone using samsung smart switch software on my pc and master factory reset the phone from the recovery menu. When it was done I resetup the phone and it still froze and reboot randomly. So I called at&t and spoke to tech support and told them my problem and what tmobile say to do. They told me they could do the reflash but since I am no longer a customer they was nothing they could do for me. But I could go to best buy to a Samsung experience store and they could reflash my phone with for me with the latest software that at&t had out. So I went to the Samsung store inside of best buy. I told the lady my problem and what tmobile had me do and what at&t told me. She told me she could do the reflash but I already had the latest version of the at&t software on my phone all ready. I told her that tmobile told me the hardware in my phone is all good and that however I got the at&t update it did not apply correctly and that I need a reflash. She took my phone and started to plug in to her computer to do the reflash. After it was done she gave me my phone back. On the screen it was in recovery mode trying to reboot back to the phone screen. I showed the phone to the Samsung store lady and she told me I had to wait and it would reboot to the home screen. I thanked the lady for helping me out and left the best buy store. Got to my car and the phone now had a black screen so I took out the battery and put it back in and turned on the phone and it booted in to recovery mode not the home screen. From the recovery screen I picked reboot the phone and once again booted to recovery mode. So I walked back in to best buy and talked to the Samsung lady and was like this is very weird it should not be doing this. She also took out the battery and put it back a few times. Still phone was rebooting to recovery mode and not the home screen. So she called her tech support to figure out how she could fix my problem since now my phone was 100% not useable. The Samsung lady’s tech support had her plugin the phone to the computer again and reflash the software. But it failed at 3%. She was told to tried it again it failed at 20% this time. So she was told try it again and it failed this time at 50%. So she was told to try it one last time and this time it went all the way to 100% and she keep the phone connected to the pc until it was fully rebooted but again it rebooted to the recovery more screen not home screen. She told me that she would have to keep my phone and next day ask Samsung for the full flash of the software to download for my phone since she only had the latest update. So I left my phone with her and waited for her to call me and let me know that my phone was all good to go. I went back the second day after giving Samsung my phone and the lady told me that she did not run the full flash because she came in the first day after I give her my cell phone and it was at the home screen. I thanked the lady and left the best buy store. When I got home I download an app from the google play store and the phone rebooted on me. So the problem is still there! The phone so far has not frozen on me which I guess in grand scheme of things is good, but I am not calling this over just yet. So smarter people of xda Is there anything I can do to fix this phone so I can still use it and not have to worry about it or is it time to just bite the bullet and get a new phone even though there is nothing out that I like.
We're in the same boat
I am having the same exact issue. I just got my phone flashed at the Samsung experience kiosk at best buy only to use it and find out it still randomly slows down then crashes and restarts. It at times crashes as its restarting and continues a boot loop for a while. What can be done?
1.Battery is about to die or 2. Uninstall good luck
I'm having the same issue with my ATT Note 4 it started a couple weeks ago as well
Was in the same boat
Install a app called WakeLock from the play store. Use the level 4 option and yours troubles will be gone.
I had the same issue for 2 weeks and then came across this gem on one of the forums. Has not caused an issue for the last 2 weeks now.
Is that app wake lock powermanager be Darken? There are a few wakelock apps.
I'm in same boat as well. NOTE 4 worked great until a few weeks ago. Then MANY freezes, reboots, etc. I almost think aTT pushed something down intentionly (ita called planned obscellesence) to force an upgrade. Not reall5, but I do wonder .

Worked like a charm!
Edit. Worked for a while but apparently my battery was trash. New battery came yesterday and solved all issues i was having.
WOW! I was ready to throw my note 4 in the garbage because of all that crud! This app is AWESOME and did fix my issues. Thanks a ton for those that recommended it. My note 4 runs wonderful now, and probably will be PLENTY sufficient for me for another 2-3 years. Unfortunately, this issue has REALLY dampened my outlook on SAMSUNG and cell companies for that matter. It's in their best interest that people DO upgrade phones every 2 years or so.
Help please

battery issues
Just want to say was about to throw out my note 4 this week for the same issues. I installed the wake lock app (darken), have it set on 'partial wake lock' and AMAZING my phone seems to be operating normally! Thank you, and spread the word.
Wow! Thanks to all for the great tip. You saved my Note 4!
Since the latest OTA ROM upgrade from AT&T, (6.0.1, baseband N910AUCS2EAK5) my normally solid note 4 phone worked like garbage! It would slow way, way down, especially on a strenuous task, and quite often reboot spontaneously. It was so frustrating, I had to carry a second phone just to make sure I could be reached.
I did everything - wiped cache, factory reset and was just about to ODIN flash an earlier ROM when I can across this tip on XDA. This Wakelock app is phenomenal!
It seems as though Samsung / AT&T released the last patch with faulty power management. This app bypasses the whole issue by NOT allowing the phone to enter deep sleep. Problem Solved! Perhaps battery life takes a small hit, but who cares! We just have to hold on until the Note 8 arrives!

Totally donating to Darken (via play store) for saving my phone from the garbage, and saving me $500 to upgrade to a phone I don't want! Best $2.31 ever!
Still need the app
I just did the OTA upgrade from AT&T. I am now on baseband N910AUCS2EQD1 (6.0.1) I was hoping this upgrade would fix the problems, but it didn't. Still need the app!
my daughters note 4 has been randomly rebooting and sometimes when it reboots it sticks at the att symbol or it even goes to download mode? it started after att did a update . i told here to try the wakelock and let me know how it goes but has anyone had it reboot where it says could not reboot then has the android and do not shut off target?
Would anyone happen to know how well Wake Lock plays with Good Lock and/or power saving mode? My battery is ready to retire (seems to be at about half-capacity if that's the right terminology, new one on the way) and I've been having these freezes and reboots happen to me over the last few weeks; often at annoying inconvenient times.
My new battery should be here before this week ends, but I'm just looking for some insight for the few days in the interim. Thank you in advance for any responses.
...Noted (SM-N910A)
well tried wake lock and it seemed to help but did not fix the problem, phone was flawless and worked perfect before 6.01 . now reboots during call and downloading updates from playstore ect. sent it to samsung and they said it would be $70 to repair so i sent it in. they called and said the screen has ghosting and need a lcd, i think they broke it and didnt want to pay for it but they had it and i had to get it fixed. i now have it back with the newest att rom and updates with a new motherboard housing and screen for $185 but it works perfect like it did before with 5.0 so there is a hardware issue gong on with certain boards from what i have been reading in other forums its the early production ones. must be ram or internal sd who knows but whatever it is the marshmallow rom brings it out. did not want to spend the money but it was worth it. no lag and very snappy again and no reboots. i wish samsung would admit there is a issue with the note 4
Hello,
New to the forum, at least posting have been lurking and reading for years, but this will be my first post.
Mi 10T Pro, stuck in bootloop. I have been trying to get it going again and have been having no luck, so I decided it is time to turn to the pros for some help.
Symptoms:
Bootloops 1 or 2 times to the MIUI logo, then boots to the recovery menu
Not possible to turn of completely, bootloops until battery drains completely
Able to get to the fastboot menu
What I have tried:
I had a suspicion that it was a problem with the power button, so i replaced the ribbon but no improvement (Unless new one is bad also?)
Replaced Battery, no improvements
Tried all the button press combinations to try and do hard reboot and so on
About Device:
Software version: Unknown as the phone broke a long time ago, got a replacement and the phone has been sitting in the drawer...
Phone was never rooted or unlocked in any other way
The phone is open and I could unplug battery or try a new ribbon for the power button (I have a new one on hand)
What I would like to achieve:
Save the data that is on the phone.... This is the main thing I would like to do as there is precious pictures of my young kids and so on....
Get the phone working and use it as an emergency device
Options I think are still available in order of how I would like to attempt them:
Do a software recovery, by installing a stock rom, example: (
)
I don't know what version of rom to download as I don't know what version the phone was on
I don't know if this will work since the bootloader has never been unlocked
Anything else possible before next step?
Reset through the reset menu. and cry over all the lost data (
All suggestions are welcome.
Thank you!
this phone is notorious for needing to be reballed after a few years of use. its a trash phone. join any mi 10T groups in facebook and youll see countless users who had to pay specialist technicians to reball their CPU and Memory chips and even then, they still fail after a few weeks/months.
Thank you for your answer ongkal. So you don't think its worth to try to overwrite the loader? I don't want to have to reball if its a software issue, but will if it comes down to it.
Mainly just want to get the files out, went back to samsung after first phone with xiaomi...
I was just looking at the reball videos on youtube and most of the phones are completely dead, mine still turns on but straight into bootloop. Besides they say it might be due to gaming, which that phone has not seen
