[Q] HELP!

I was trying to flash a rom on to my stock SGN and it didnt end up well there were error "ERROR 7" However i also accidentily removed my Stock rom Backups(s )
Now some how i got it back working from backing up stock But the phone doesnot work. regardless of how many time i restart the phone and i remove and put the sim car back in it says NO service..........
please help i dont think i still have the backsups. should i install a new Rom or what

Yes. I'd probably recommend a rom & radio re-install.

You can just flash it the same way you do as a rom in CWM... Follow the instructions and posts from this thread (if you're GSM).

[Q] Camera Failed

why my camera sometimes can't be used and there is a notification "Camera Failed".?
please help me...

I had this issue too..just reboot your phone and everything will works normaly again..

i hv this issue alsi when i'm using lower class memory card. now using class 10 16gb card with bionic rom without this camera failed problem.

Try to flash a new Camera.apk to you phone. Hopefully that is only software problem.

I had the same problem and I solved it by uninstalling oovoo....it's only a case???

do u have cwm on ur phone? reboot ur phone into recovery then choose advance and choose fix permission, wait until finish, then reboot ur phone after it finish

Unfortunately I have the same problem. My camera does not work anymore. I just receive the message "Camera failed". I still have the stock rom installed and I did not modify too much (I just installed some apps). I have already reset the phone to factory settings which did not solve my problem. Does anybody have an idea what I could try to fix the problem?

I just have formatted my device and flashed it with a stock rom. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem with the camera. I still got the error message "camera failed" when I click on the camera app. Any ideas? Is it a hardware problem? Should I flash a custom rom?

I got that message once, and I panicked. Fortunately, rebooting did it just fine.
Perhaps there is something wrong with the firmware...I searched the net and found this article, maybe useful, IDK.

Thanks for the reply and for the link. Unfortunately I do not understand step 3. When I scroll to "Camera" I do not see a 2nd option which should be named as "user". I just see "camera" and "camcorder". What should I do? Do I have to root the phone?

ok, I have rooted my phone and I have tried the fix described in the link above again. However, I was not successfull. I do not get these options described in the link ("user"). Maybe I am using a wrong version of Pro Launcher. I just downloaded the new version from market...Anyone with a suggestion/idea?

Camera failed
I used to face this problem quite a lot when i was using the stock rom, but after flashing to cow's rom, the problem went away, no more camera failed anymore

Yesterday after upgrade to baseband v. i8150dxlc1 Kernel [email protected]#3 (KIES UPGRADE) i dont have that problem anymore

I've been running this rom for a while now. I tried another dev's rom and came back after only one day. That was over the weekend. Today, I received a phone call from someone that I was sure would leave a voice mail. That's when I realized that the voice mail app is missing!!!!!!! Did I do something wrong? Is it missing for everyone else? How can I get it back? help please.

What's going on with Netflix? I can't seem to get it to work on this ROM but I am able to get it working on other roms. I do get a error message that my phone is unable to connect to Netflix network. But I can restore a backup to another ROM and Netflix works with no problem.

flash stock kernel, start netflix / etc, flash cusom kernel back and you should be good to go!
SmoothKat Comes with AEL 6.1.1 not a stock kernel

If you did a full back up. You may be able to pull voicemail off of the back up file.
I do a stock backup through keies3 before modding. Ran NK2 flawlessly. Rom applied fine.

So today I tried to download a image file from my google drive and I couldn't. also tried to download image from chrome browser, and from MMS (save image) and that also didnt work. Anyone else have these issues?

wait this doesn't make sense? how did you backup and restore later, your rom but lose root in the process?

Just tested from my google drive to device (using download feature in drive) Worked flawlessly. just tried a random google image (note 4 search) downloaded flawlessly as well, MMS (waiting on msg from person now)
Give me some more information about your device please. Kernel, rom version, wifi/mobile data, etc

It might be kernel causing the issue. I flashed stock kernel to get netflix working but never flashed ael 6 kernel back. Is there a link to download ael 6 kernel. 1st page of this thread does not have link to ael 6 kernel download link. prefer flash able kernel. Thanks!

kernel is NOT the issue for the image downloading. It is for netflix however lol. I use latest AEL nearly at all times...

SD Card Issue
Having issues with certain apps not finding sd card. Audiable app and even xposed. running v1.1 with stock kernel at this time trying to make things work. Any ideas or fixes?
Update: After trying sd card fix and doing through app and zip no luck with fixing issue, problem was solved when i used int-sd card write fix. If you are having this issue i recommend to run both the int-sd card write fix and sd card fix for KK. Hope this helps.

so I have this problem idk if its the rom or whatever but sometimes randomly I cant get sms or calls like im next to a person and tell me to text or call me and I see it going threw on the other phone but I get no notification on mine ? like it goes straight to voice mall without a notification, it also happened in stock rom but it hasn't happpend in a long time I flashed this rom and it started happening more often now, so like it makes me paranoid so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

I'm fairly certain this is the infamous "sprint spark issue".

weird call automation
i flashed this rom which is amazing btw any way i cant turn of the call automation, everytime i get a call i get a if you would like to accept this call press 1 to send to voice mail press 2 any help would be great plz&thank you

This is a google voice "feature". The only way I know to rid this is the proper setup of google voice. Or you can go online to voice.google.com and get rid of screened calling feature. Under settings (looks like a small wrench)

[Q] System UI has stopped

Hi, I recently unlocked bootloader in my device, and I proceeded to install HD Revolution ROM.
I had some issues, but I solved them. Then, next to install ROM and boot it, appear 3 message error:
- unfortunately system ui has stopped
- unfortunately easyaccessservice has stopped
- unfortunately htc dot view has stopped
I tried to solve this but I cant, I wiped cache (in other post recomend it for this issue) but I try to restart and same error appear. And the phone stays at: Unlocking your SIM card and setting up your phone", but it dont stop.
Any ideas for this??

Oneplus 3 Problem after unbrick

Hello, Good Day to all! I wont take too much of your time but please help me!
My Oneplus 3 suddenly bricked itself, I dont know how or why but it just powered off and then when I tried to boot it up it was hard bricked. Now I've managed to fix it by following the Mega Unbrick guide for Oneplus 3 and it boots up, but the problem is it crashes during boot, and it randomly crashes after a few minutes which then leads to the boot logo crash, I have to "let it rest" so to speak for a few minutes so that it would bypass the boot crashes. Once it got past the crashes some apps are not responding like Twitter, Messenger and so on. Stock apps are fine it's the newly downloaded ones that are not responding, I tried numerous factory resets using the stock recovery and TWRP but no luck.
I am on Nougat 7.1.1 on the latest OxygenOS version, Unlocked bootloader with systemless root. I haven't tried flashing a custom rom the only thing I tried to flash was the Stock Rom. I also noticed that the WiFi and the Data/Signal was particularly weaker since the messages would not load, I need to actually check the app for it to sync. When I got Messenger somehow working, the messages would not even load up.
Any ideas what the problem is? Any help is deeply appreciated, Thanks in Advance!

This may be a motherboard issue why don't u give ur phone to service center to get it checked up once

This sounds like an hardware issue, have you tried method 2 of the unbrick tool, perhaps you could try to re-download it, have you unzipped it? If it boots let it boot and then upgrade to a new OOS version and then you can do whatever you want. If it doesn't work after you followed my suggestions you might wanna contact Oneplus, don't worry even though your bootloader is unlocked you still have full warranty..

I did the method 2 of the unbrick tool, I've done it like twice or thrice now. I have the latest version of OOS, I am afraid to flash a custom rom because after it flashes in TWRP it immediately crashes, it does not even give me a chance to clear the dalvik or reboot. It crashes no reboot or anything.
But thank you I didn't expect anyone would reply well I regained my faith in humanity in forums
Sidenote: What custom rom would you suggest? or is the stock rom better?

I would suggest VertexOS. It's simple and really fast, EAS and Voxpopuli takes peformance per watt to the next level, if you like feature you might try Zenixx RR.

Unfortunately that is out of the question, there is no Service Center for Oneplus where I live so I cant get it checked ASAP
