[q] help me please!!!

why my SGW keep restarting & shown battery again and again....i already flash follow each step given( more than 10 times )...but still got same problem...is aother way than sent it back to service center...PLEASE HELP ME!

Have you already pass the Samsung Logo and then restart or
Never pass the Samsung logo or restart and event shown charging icon but you are not charge it
Is your answer is no. 2

What did u flash? Can u enter recovery mode? else try going to download mode and use Odin to flash again.

i already try both of them...doest work at all, odin & recovery mod...both of them i already try....weird doh!!! bcoz b4 this my ace when i had problem i just flas with odin...it work...but now....worse!!! by the way thanksss man!!!

DOES or DOES NOT ?
If possible, than try(AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!) to flash CWM(ClockWorkMod) via ODIN and than (do a backup before that!!!) do a full wipe. After that is done, enter Download mode and flash again.

i already flash with odin...it not working, same as recovery mode not working too, coz i already flash cwm but nothing happen it came out with samsung logo & battery...
yeah i know the only way is by that both step...but this is weird...i cant do anything with that steps guys...

As already suspected, this is probably a defect of mainboard. You will have to send it to Samsung Service Point. This could still be a warranty case, but from here on only Samsung can help you.

Can you enter into cwm recovery mode. If you can then I don't think there s way. Coz it'll show you tat you've rooted ur phone. If you can't then go to service center and pretend to them that you haven't even heard the word root in your whole life. Tel them that you just tried to update thru kies nd it got bricked. No other way my friend.

Note- your phone shd be within warranty period. Then it'll be replaced. I haven't done tis. But, heard from guys who did it.

What I see is that she's not having problem with bricking phone, so.. no need imo..
She just need to reflash... I believe she got wrong package when flashing? Like broken package.
Try checking http://www.samfirmware.com/
get a stock rom of your country / other, and reflash it with correct settings...

i download the firmware from samfirmware, its impossible its if the firmware broken or something, and i already do a correct steps, and i know how to flash guys , just dont understand why this still could happend, maybe mainboard problem or the battery?

Basically i wanna explain more about the "BRICKING"
There are soft brick and hard brick
SOFT BRICK
Soft brick cause by bad installation :
Corrupted file
Bad flashing way
Power off while flashing
Soft brick will cause the phone wont load the OS, the characteristic are
After booting, couldn't load OS after the logo shown and keep the screen blank
After booting and get into OS, suddenly system crash and reboot
You can go thru reboot mode and download mode
This issue can be fixed by re-flashing your phone

HARD BRICK
Hard brick cause by:
Broken Hardware
Very-very wrong way of flashing
What really cause this ?
It's the damaged "ADB Interference Driver" that caused the device cannot give any command to system. In example your device wont reboot after flashing although ODIN has sent reboot command

The characteristic are:
If your hardware damaged, your system will crash all over the time meanwhile you already re-flash but it cannot fixed
Your device have a boot loop and unable to go to recovery mode

Some device (Galaxy Ace & Galaxy 3 Apollo) have firmware that included with automatically system/data/cache format. They will not experience* this hard brick because the firmware doing cleaning before flashing

How to fix this hard brick ?
Until now i didn't get any way to fix it, because it linked to damaged "ADB Interference Driver" so you cannot use any command in your device
It this happen you should go to Samsung Service Center
How to Flash Correctly (Custom ROM)
Make a full back up of your device & apps
Do full wipe on data/system/cache
Flash your latest stock ROM
Get Root access & CWM Recovery
Download your ROM correctly make sure not get corrupted
Make sure to copy it to primary SD card (no need to swap)
Make sure you have 85-100 battery or in charged with 85-100 power available

Yes, if the uploader publises a MD5 checksum. Than you, as downloader, will be able to check the MD5 checksum of the downloaded file.
If not available I think all you can do to minimize the chance of not getting a corrupted file is by checking the size of the downloaded files and the one which is displayed at the filehoster. Other option would be to download the file twice and compare the MD5 checksum of the both files. if they are same everything is fine, if not ...

I learned Cryptography System before. I know the function of Md5 check sum. It is a "digest" of host file. BUT it can only check the integrity of the file. If the original file has already corrupted before making its md5, u won't know anyway.

[Q] Galaxy Note 2 No OS installed error

Hello.
I recently have a huge problem with my Galaxy Note 2. By mistake i delete all data from external/internal memory and now only thing i can do is go to TWRP mode. But i'm not able install custom rom or stock software cause TWRP always say: failed.
I try ADB push and it's also didn't work, i think phone is not rooted anymore somehow. But i may be mistaken about that one.
I also try Odin, but i'm not able put phone in download mode, it's just don't work. And simle put files on external/internal memory also don't work, keep saying : failed, when i try install zip
I search internet, and for some reason nothing works for me.
i even try install supersu trough TWRP but it's change nothing, so if anyone can help me will be great. or i stay with nice piece of usless tech in hand :-/
I just try again, and reason to fail is phone can't check MD5, keep saying: no MD5 file found.

well why not try to flash philz recovery it works awesome try a zip file flash from recovery if it fails try to push tar through odin and then install your desired rom back

I can't use Odin cause i can't put phone in download mode, so Odin doesn't see my phone. but i try flash this zip file, maybe it will works. but yesterday i try flash cyanogen recovery, and after retart i still got TWRP. Maybe i done something wrong ?

Well philz is the best recovery till date for the n7100 maybe ppl may find me bias when I say this but evr since philz no prob whatsoevr in my flashing roms are u able to wipe if yes then first wipe then flash philz zip and whats the error u getting while entering download mode does the 3 button combo not workimg for u vol down+power and menu
There is an option to fix permision in recovery and see if it solves and if it allows u to flash zip

The problem is that when i try go in download mode i don't have any error or anything, just phone awake, screen get gray and that's it, nothing happen. ONLY thing i can do with phone is go in recovery mode, TWRP. And then i can only reboot in recovery, bootloader do nothing, restart do nothing, i got message No OS installed. but when i try restart, phone ask to install supersu, and if i say yes, nothing happen. Need take out battery and go in TWRP again. There is nothing in phone. just TWRP.

how u know its a fake one did u try calling up samsung and get details of phone just to be sure call samsung customer care and give them info abt your phn details s/n , imei stuff they will tell you .

i go pick my nokia from service, and we have one service point for nokia, samsung, motorola and nokia, i ask them and show them phone. cheap chinesee fake, but looks legit. well, end of story for now, maybe i will find way to fix it, if not, i still got other phones to use.
I just can't make it load any rom. or diffrent recovery tool, nothing works. after i try philz, i got message that is succesfull, i restart and again was TWRP.

it's not my first rooted phone, have htc inspire 4G, lg optimus G, and few others, never ever a single problem. Lately even on lg i delete all from memory, no backup, rom file was damage, when i restart it's just load stock rom. seems like chinesee need improve their skills

hi guys, i wrote here because all links are expired. i have a very big problem with my ace 2 because it is in loop at the logo screen. it's happen when i tried to root the phone with odin. i tried and tried with the same file and with other files: rom, kernel etc.. but the result is the same.

Is it the Android boot screen (i.e. Samsung/Cyanogenmod) or the Bootloader screen, that shows up first thing no matter which ROM you have?

I started with the stock rom, and i didn't be able to install new roms because at the first flash for root permission with odin, my phone restart with the loop. and the new files i flashed with odin gave me the same loop.

now, i think that the only solution is reset all. where is the right link? active link!

I think so too. Try using a three part firmware, I can't just provide the .pit because you'll need the modem file too.
Try using a three part firmware if a single file one doesn't work
Odin Single File = i8160XXXXX.tar.md5 which goes in PDA
Odin Three part = Modem, PDA and PIT (This repartitions your device back to factory so you'll lose all data and partition changes you've made!!))

The XXMF1 firmwares might have all three files. I don't know but from what I can collect it seems to be the most likely. The test XXMC8 and MB4 firmwares also contain three files, but, they're test firmwares, so I wouldn't recommend it - and you should flash stable firmware afterwards (after the phone reboots and you see the 'PASS' message on the computer and the phone has started to boot)

No problem! Try not to flash if you have less than 70% or so battery left as a general rule

[HELP] Hardbricked G3... :(

I am Done.
It's not booting, it shows LG splash screen and after some seconds dies.
I tried everything...
my last resort was using LG Flash Tool and flashing the .tot file...
First time, it went good, even reached where the 2 Factory Reset Status, where it froze though. Followed a guide saying I need to select Board DL, tried but no good.
Now, when trying to flash again, and reaching where the phone has to reboot, it shows the LG Splash screen and dies again, sometimes, it shows the Demigod Crash Handler saying either Kernel Crash or Tz Crash.
No one seems to want to help ...

What is version of twrp? If its twrp 8.7.0 you can flash another kernel throw twrp. Im not develloper. Only for your risk.

Edit: im not read fully of your post sorry but you can try it

Its same step like on HTC, but you have LG G3.

Well now I can't boot to recovery -_- sometimes it boots to recovery, sometimes it just don't!
I could try this indeed! But still dunno if it will work without enabling the USB Debugging

Please Help to Unbrick note 4

I used odin to downgrade to 5.1.1 and then it failed. reboot then the device bricked. only HS-USB 9008 showing in my laptop.
I've read about it on the internet that you need to use SD card with winimg or use working phone. I don't have working phone
Please can someone help with img file for n910a or help me how to unbrick it?

Just to let you know that I tried every trick to reflash it and all failed then figured out by found CSD file ( not for At&T) from forum to copy it in sdcard .. I did that and then got download mode again... Odin keeps fail in every Android OS with error PIT or emmc.... So I just gave up untill I remembered while I searching for a solution a guy said let your phone cold (tested) so I put my phone in freezer about 5 minutes then the Odin start flashing ROM and after it up I download wakelock power management and chose partial wake... This all happen yesterday night and I didn't test it yet

Try removing your sd card, I actually bricked my phone 20 minutes ago by attempting a bootloader unlock, I got stuck in a bootloop but after removing the sd card everything was ok.

I fixed already.... Thanks tho

I have same issue too, could you send the file you used ??
Mine only works on the freezer too , cant take it out of there or it wont get on to download mode or flash the rom.
Could you give us a little more explain how you did it?
