I'm new to custom roms, I tried to reset my tab 12 back to factory after running cynogenmod 12 and now it just flashes the teamwin logo.. Any Ideas how I can fix this. I want to go back to the factory settings if possible. Thank you in advance for your help.

I previously had Cyanogen Mod flashed on my phone and I did not like it. So I decided to flash the original AT&T stock rom back on using ODIN. Well now it boots back up and shows the AT&T logo intro, but it is stuck on the glowing SAMSUNG screen. Can someone give me some ideas to try to fix this. Thank you so much!
boot into recovery and factory reset
Wipe everything. Reflash a stock rom using Odin. Reboot and enjoy. Note that you might not want to use the file you already flashed.

A factory reset will do you fine. No need to reflasha stock ROM with Odin afterwards

I followed all the instructions in flashing this ROM. I wiped and reset everything before flashing, i also did it again after flashing. Now I'm stuck at the CyanogenMod spinning logo. Sometimes i see the language picking screen, but few seconds later it goes back to the CyanogenMod spinning logo. HELP!!!! Thank You! How do i fix this?

I had the same problem with my Nexus 7.
what i did is to Hard boot the device...
Boot to Clockwork recovery then restore...
I hope you backed up before you flashed...
Back up everytime.
Everytime i flash anything im confident i wont brick my device. as long as you back up and have clockwork recovery...
Hello.
I was trying to install CivZ rom on the device and apparently messed things up.
The samsung logo just appears and doesn't do anything after that.
I can go to the android recovery screen and that's about it.
Any help?
Thank You !

You can go to SamMobile/Firmwares and download your firmware and reinstall Android, But you will lose everything if its not backed up. Hope I helped. Also if your bootloader isn't unlocked you can download and flash CWM ot TWRP on the Development forums.
my Tmobile GS3 is on the boot screen forever.
I had custom rom 4.1.2 and tried to flash custom 4.3 rom without changing bootloader or anything.
Once I did it, then my phone just stops on the boot screen which shows "SAMSUNG" blinking logo.
Is it considered as a softbrick?
Do I need the same debrick method as a hardbrick? or is there any easier way to deal with softbrick??
Thank you guys.
Just factory reset. Fixes this 99% of the time.

Hello,
1st of all i am newbie in here. Yesterday I have gotten into a really strange problem, Searched the internet and this forum also, didn't find any similar kind of problem anywhere. Please help if you can.
For somedays I was using Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly for my zenfone 2 ze551ml. Yesterday I installed Bliss v6.0 for Zenfone 2 using twrp. Before installing bliss v6.0, I made a backup using twrp and did full wipe. but having some error with the bliss rom I tried to go back to cyanogenMod 12.1 using restore from twrp.I also did a full wipe before restore cm12.1. Somehow it didnot restore propoerly and my phone got softbricked.
After that I tried to fresh install the cm12.1 using the zip file. But I couldn't enter into the twrp. When I tried to go to the recovery, my phone just rebooted everytime and took me into the fastboot menu. Also when the phone starts, there is a4 colored box instead of Asus animated logo.
I had to install the twrp again using my computer to enter into the custom recovery mode. After that I did a clean install of CyanogenMod 12.1 and it worked. Right now my phone is working well but whenever I tried to start the phone or reboot it, at the boot menu before showing cyanogenMod logo, the 4 colored box was there, where before the Asus animated logo was showing. I took some picture of it for your better understanding but as this my first post here, neither I found the picture upload option, nor xda let my post image hosting link. If you know how to fix the problem, please help me. I am kind of worried of this problem.
Regards.
It's not a problem, a rom has overwritten the boot screen.
Not sure how you'll fix it unless you try the way you fix the white bootscreen after unlocking your bootloader but not sure if there was another screen before this...

Thanks. I installed the black splashscreen and it worked. but I didn't have the animated one now. Is there any way to find the stock animated splashscreen?

Aside to go back to stock I don't know where you will find it.
If you do go back to stock it will put everything back as it was then you could reflash another custom rom, just be aware though you might have to start from scratch with a factory reset...

Should do as it overwrites everything... Just remember though that you will need to factory reset or you'll have LOT'S of errors...

Here's the bootanimation just place it in
/system/media folder and you will have the factory animation again.
Note: (root required) make sure the file name stays the same. You can rename your old boot animation to bootanimation1.zip if you want to keep it and make sure you got the permissions set to rw- r-- r-- on the new bootanination.zip
