Hi. i tried to install maximus new 3.2 rom and after i installed from zip and rebooted my phone, my phone is stuck on the htc logo white screen and keeps rebooting!
i tried to go back to recovery and it doesnt work now! the phone goes into a black screen then reboots again!
try in fastboot mode fastboot erase cache .
you posted in wrong section
Don't forget to reflash kernel modules incase you are using a custom kernel and if you need to reflash the recovery in fastboot make sure your battery isn't below 10% else fastboot won't allow you to flash it.

I have the same problem. The solution is simple: Flash the default recovery then re-flash the clockworkmod recovery again and then try.
You mention which rom you installed and that you flashed the zip file but don't mention that you did a wipe before this (depending on which rom you were previously on) or that you flashed the boot.img file via fastboot first.
PS! There's a section specifically for Q&A and these types of posts should go there are not to be posted in the dev section. Hopefully some kind mod will move it, but I guess you have a few answers by now.

You haven't flashed the boot.img if your phone keeps rebooting.
Also - you've posted this in the wrong section, this is a development section only.

Soz for the delay but this is what i done and it worked. reflashed the recovery from fastboot mode and it worked.
i dont know why some rom and karnals dont boot up properly. a pain really. nearly got worried when maximus lates stable rom messed up my recovery clockworkmod!
Problem now is that its stuck in a boot loop and I've tried and succeeded at flashing the stock rom through odin on windows 7.
Rom starts up occasionally but does not stay stable no matter what rom I flash and just goes back in to a boot loop.
Power button doesn't seem to be stuck.
If anyone can guide me to a solution I will reward them with $5 via paypal.
Have you tried to load the drivers separately (meaning not using the toolbox method)? I have used Windows 8 without any problem, but I didn't use the toolbox. I used Odin. Worked like a charm.
did you wipe cache/dalvik and fix permissions after that install of the 4.1.2 gapps? have you tried odin?? and correct me if im wrong you can boot your phone up but when you get to the home screen you get a bunch of force close? gapps wouldnt and shouldnt soft brick you ??
I'm stuck in a boot loop no matter what rom I flash. I've flashed stock with oden, flashed jedi5 with the stock telus kernal and TWRP and clockworkmod...
I've tried redownloading the stock rom multiple times and I even setup another comp to use windows 7 again.
Yes I have tried oden as well.
I have no idea what to do
Do you get any errors in Odin what r u flashing does it finish if all is failing for you sounds like a sticky power button try fiddling with it with out breaking it your phone should be booting up with all those steps you have performed if Odin doesn't return you to stock and still can't boot something is wrong in deed try and bypass all those errors go Into settings and factory reset then reboot

I'm flashing the stock koodo/telus rom and I have wiped everything multiple times.
I dont think its a stuck power button as it still clicks when i push it.
so again... question ??? is ODIN failing what errors are you getting kinda hard with out much detail ODIN will always restore and if it doesnt then it will give some error...... and you are kind of confusing me bro you can boot to a ROM but its all broken and you can boot into CWM but cant flash anything ?? have you tried flashing TWRP in odin and try to flash a proper ROM again?

It "succeeds" with that green background.
I can boot in to the rom occasionally and everything is perfect but then it crashes and goes in to a boot loop.
And yes I have tried TWRP and flashed Jedi5 after wiping everything in TWRP.
so whats crashing do you get process.core force close /...system.ui stoped working or literally you are doing something on your phone and then BOOM its in a boot loop i know your not new to flashing just trying to really pin point whats really going on here bro its sucks that you are having this issue is this the only ROM you are having this issue with the miui and now the jedi? do you have any tweaks installed build prop edit any special configuration ??

Nothing special is flashed on and its purely just stock. Crashes are just instant with no error. No tweaks or anything and I've tried with the stock recovery, twrp, and cwm. (All recent updates)
Try the dark side wipe. Then flash your ROM. Only use it in twrp tho cuz it can break cwm6+

Just tried that... And I think it ended up just being my power button being stuck down or something?
When I got to the rom this time it popped up with a do you want to restart popup.
I'll report back after some testing.

Hey everyone. Out of pure desperation, this is my first post here because I'm absolutely at a loss of what to do.
So I first rooted my Optimus G Pro with Super One Click, then used FreeGee to get CWM Recovery on there, which I heard unlocks the bootloader, too. I then tried to flash the CyanogenMod ROM on this forum, and didn't have any "errors" during install. After this, however, when I rebooted, I was simply met with the "Secure Booting Error: Device UnLock!! so Boot Success!!" message.
I can access CWM-based Recovery 6.0.3.3 still, but can't find a way to put files onto my SD card now. Any ideas? Can I fix this error? Should I just reinstall stock? If so, where do I get it, and how can I put it onto my SD card?
I'd really appreciate any help, guys. Also, if you for sure have a way to get CWMRecovery to boot up, I seem to only get it going with luck.
Thanks for any help or input, guys. I'm pretty distraught, especially since this phone is so new.

Try to wipe/factory reset/cache/dalvik and if it doesnt boot and you didnt make any backup from stock rom before cm installation you have to reinstall the stock firmware again

So I've decided I'm okay with going back to Stock Rom for now. If I can't access the phone via USB (at least from my computer) what choices do I have? I'm looking in sideloading. Does that seem pretty alright?
You are supposed to get that secure boot error message when u unlock bootloader and when u flash cm10.1 or any 4.2 rom your SD card becomes a file called 0. It can be accessed in a file manager that has root access and it will b in a mnt. folder. It takes a while for cm to boot so after the lg logo it should b around 5 minutes of black screen.

Okay, so I guess I'm not worried about the boot error message anymore, but I can't seem to get anything to happen. I get the LG logo with the error message, then nothing. I waited about 8 minutes before to no luck. I DID see the CyanogenMod logo once or twice, but it just stalled and didn't do anything. I'm thinking it's a battery thing, but in this state, I can't seem to find a way to charge it.
I did a few different methods of trying to reinstall stock rom (since I'm thinkin now I'll just wait until an official release of CM is available). For the LG Flash Tools version, it's saying my BIN doesn't match with my DLL or something (I'll be more specific when I have a chance). When I do the R&D Test Tool, it says my battery doesn't have enough charge to go through with the update (which is what's making me think my battery is gone).
Right now I have my phone plugged into a wall outlet with CWMRecovery open, because I read somewhere that you can charge your phone that way if you need to.
I'm kind of at a loss, guys. Any specific ideas or help?
I understand that this error is normal as it should be: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45094932&postcount=148

faced the same issue a while back.......... I had to flash back to stock, reroot and install lokified cwm from freegee. But while doing so, do not disable LG security. After that, I can access recovery normally. BYW, this happened when I flashed 4.3 based rom from a non-loki supported cwm.
Hope this helps...... BTW I am using E988.

Hello,
I have the same problem with the optimus f120k
When I attempt to reboot show the message:
secure booting error
cause: boot certification verify
Can I recover the phone?
Can I access the phone?
I'd really appreciate any help
Tanks
Hi I rooted the phone, then install the FreeGee , and always start the phone in recovery mode! what can I do for that start with the system normally and not the recovery???
Thank you!
I suspect that FreeGee does something wrong to our devices!
I tried EVRYTHING but still stuck on CWM
E988
same error on F240K E988
Is there any solution for that?
You must flash it back with lg flashtool

That message only says that the bootloader is "unlocked." If it didn't say Boot Success then you'd have a problem. After a fresh flash it takes a few minutes before the phone is usable.

Yes, after the bootloop problem, I have flashed back with lg flashtool, but i hope will be a solution for that bootloop problem...
LG E-989
reflashing a recovery fixed my recovery bootloop
was using philz_touch_6.15.4-e980 when this happened and I'm not sure if reflashing the same recovery would have fixed it
I had TWRP-2.6.1.0-E980-LOKIFIED-E986HACKED.zip on sd from here so I flashed it and restarted recovery again but after that it booted normally

For real? DO NONE OF YOU KNOW HOW TO SEARCH?!?!??!?!? There are 2 threads I created, one in general. One in Q&A. Read through those. There was no need for you to flash back to complete stock. I guess that's what y'all get for not searching (@@)

Hi Guys, I've stuffed up my LG G3 with a boot animation for a phone with the same resolution. I replaced the stock boot image (hidden in data/) and rebooted, the animation plays great! over and over and over. The original bootanimation zip is still in that folder as bootanimation.zip.orig.
Is there any way of fixing this without reflashing? I'm currently using an Optus/Virgin Mobile branded LG G3.
Flash using normal flash not CSE. Should hopefully fix it. Don't replace boot image. If you want to change the boot animation you just need to replace the bootanimation.zip with the one you want.

Hi, Thanks for the speedy reply, can you elaborate on what you mean by "Normal flash"? As for the boot animation, dont worry, if I can recover my phone I wont be doing any tinkering again without fully understanding what I'm doing lol.
I'd also like to point out that I stupidly, didnt install a custom recovery before doing this. any help would be appreciated.
Using LG flash Tool, select the KDZ file you want to flash then select normal flash as in the picture.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, I will try that tonight.
Nah, didnt work. It cant even register that my phone is connected to the PC. even in download mode
Soo.. I decided to install Cynogen Mod 5.1.1 onto the Note 2. And, All worked fine....
But here is an issue. A while back I had to unlock the phone, which required me to install TWRP.. Now the issue is i think i installed it into the Boot instead of recovery.. So now whenever i select ANY power option in TWRP, the phone restarts into TWRP again.. Now, All i had to do was just do a battery pull and all was good.. Except for now..
I tried to update CM through TWRP, but it did something and now the phone boots into TWRP no matter what. I got the Android universal toolkit or whatever running and trying to fix the boot.img, But have been unsuccessful so far..
So, Any help that i can get would be appreciated.
Things I have done:
1. Reflashed boot.img with original.
2. Reflashed recovery with newer twrp
3. Factory reset, formated/
4. Installed backup with 4.4.2 installed still
5. Googled everything

I reinstalled the Original recovery. Then rebooted, and it all worked.. 1:02 AM and tired as heck....
Can you tell me how you installed the original recovery? I did the same thing and now all my phone boots into is TWRP.
Alright.. It's a bit of a Google.. But you gotta find the original recovery for the phone on the web.. The recovery for the gt-n100 or whatever works. So look for that.
