there is fantastic USD$5.00 device that you plug between the phone and your charger on ebay. Ill post the link if I can find it.

There is a thread somewhere on this board (ZF2) with pictures and numbers when using different chargers.
I have know this device from earlier thread but i was looking of a solution to measure amperes from the phone itself.

Maybe I haven't found it yet. I'm looking for a floating notification for sms stock. I've seen 3rd party apps bit I like the stock messaging.
I've seen a couple note 4 ports that had it.
Can this be done without any consequences? I was under the impression that the 855 is just the unlocked GSM version if the 851 which is "locked". There aren't many hardware difference that would effect this right?

I play around with it and it as some bugs( calling randomly hangs up and other stuff) it was cool, the Google now on tab need more work because when it stops the all phone stops....

"You could try it" Don't even think about it, you can't flash d855 rom on d851, you will brick your phone.

On whatever rom you should not do it, they're not the same device, the phone will be bricked.

My d855 ... If i recieved a call when I used any app the device return off ... But if iam not used any app when i recieve a call the device doesnt turn off

This is definitely battery issue get a new one and it will be resolved, just make sure you get an original battery or from a respected third party supplier

Had the same issue with my g3 and was resolved once i changed the battery

Hi there, i have a 1 week note 7 which works Good and no problems at all,
Is there a way to know if my Note 7 has a Chinese battery (not affected by failure)
My Note is made in Vietnam SM-930FD
I would like to know too but I think that requires to be opened, ruining the IP68. There is no software I know of that can tell which battery we're on.

I think Samsung should know by serial number or Imei...
I hope soon they will find out, I'm anxious to know if I'm walking around with a time bomb.

as I understand it only the devices intended for China have the "safe" Chinese battery, and China doesn't allow the Google play store to be pre-installed.
note7checking is in the site for checking - worked for my t-mobile made in china Note 7 - confirmed I was ok since I wasn't eligible. couldn't post link as it was blocked and it wasn't easy to find, hopefully googling "note7checking" will work for you

There is a metod to find out...search with google. You need an text editor apk and a file menager to open an system file. Mine is SDI.

I have just installed the April update. I have not tried other things, but the accuracy and speed of the fingerprint scanner has significantly improved. It can now recognise fingerprints through screen protectors surprisingly well with less errors. Didn't have to re-register my finger prints. Are the other facing the same improvement?

Same here, still kinda slow and works 80% of the time
fingerprint still slow and battery drains fastest
