Can this be done without any consequences? I was under the impression that the 855 is just the unlocked GSM version if the 851 which is "locked". There aren't many hardware difference that would effect this right?
Cheers

Yes you can get stuck into a bootloop, softbrick or worst hardbrick
That's what I figured but I just wanted to make sure. Damn. I saw there was a 6.0 ROM floating around for the 855

You could try it but it is at your own risk( there isn't nothing to be worried about)

"You could try it" Don't even think about it, you can't flash d855 rom on d851, you will brick your phone.

On whatever rom you should not do it, they're not the same device, the phone will be bricked.
Yes I know and I told him before to not flash it
Alright fellas lets take it down a notch, I'm not going to flash it I'll just sit tight and wait for somebody to bring marshmallow to my devices

i9300/i9305 use a Exynos CPU and the T999/T999V/T999L use a Snapdragon CPU, that ROM will not work, it will BRICK.

Just a question, I know it probably won't but we got as far as 4.4 to be ported, why not 5.0? I think it's possible, but not possible enough for me to do it.

Since the Time Hashcode has stopped Support, I wonder if there are any developers to bring the latest android to our device. I cant, just way too busy because of projects, just eating my brain. I am able to rarely log on to xda for the same. Probably @sd_shadow, @lovejoy777 of @FuZZ__ reply? Thanks!

Maybe I haven't found it yet. I'm looking for a floating notification for sms stock. I've seen 3rd party apps bit I like the stock messaging.
I've seen a couple note 4 ports that had it.
One day I was working on my phone and accidentaly dropped it. I think this is the proper reason why I am getting the marks on the screen that keep spreading out. Any of you have any solution for this? Check the pictures down below.

By the looks it should be SVHD because i was on that for a longtime. About your issue, I recognize you coz you've make a thread couple of months ago i believe. I saw that, Surprised that hasn't fixed yet.
Imo, Its a digitizer issue, i wrote back then and still continuing with it as Screen is completely intact, Just you need to Pop digi. on n off. Now it make require some skill and proper tool otherwise touch issue will make your device inoperable.
So Google for Digitizer replacement on Desire HD, watch some YouTube videos available and do it with patience.
About the ROM, i've sent you a post.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I was running SVHD that time but now I'm on MIUI and I'm having problems with notifications so I'm changing it again. About that thread, I found the fix thanks to someone that replied there, i forgot to flash the boot.img manually as I'm S-ON.

... but how can I use my Note 7 again? I never installed the "Stop the 60% battery limit", and I had it off for month now. I am afraid to turn it on, because supposingly T-Mobile will automatically, no matter what, install a "Brick this Phone NOW" update. At least this is my understanding.
That said. The hardest part is, that I do not have the time, nor the "understanding", to filter through a thousand post, "deciding" what is useful info and what is not. As great as this site is, it is also the downfall for someone like me.
So, if someone out there feels like wanting to be my HERO, please tell what to do. Even though you probably did it already a thousand times in this forum before, be my Obi Wan Kenobi and guide me in the right direction.
Thanks,
G
