LG e986 cyanogenmod 12.1 - sim card bug - LG Optimus G (International)

Hello all,
I was using Android 4.2.2 with my phone, no problem.
Then I decided to install cyanogenmod cm-12.1-20150924-NIGHTLY-e980. Everything was ok, except the sim card. It was like recognized, and all of a sudden, not recognized anymore. And this happens randomly, all the time. I do not even have time to enter my pin code as the sim car is somehow disconnected.
I wiped/formatted cache and everything, and installed cyanogenmod cm-12-20150625-SNAPSHOT-YNG4NAO09M-e980 (a bit older). This one works perfectly! No sim card problem. Then cyanogen updater downloaded and installed the latest build. And again, this sim card problems appears.
Am I the only one having this issue?
Wishes,

[Q] Why is my sim not recognized in cyanogenmod?

I have an Xperia Play and I decided to flash it with cyanogenmod. First version I got working was the 7.1.0.2. Everything was working fine except for my network: the phone didn't even ask me for the PIN.
After this, I tried the experimental CM9.0 RC1, yet I found the same problem: SIM card not recognized, phone didn't ask PIN, no networks found.
At this point I realized I didn't install a baseband on my phone and tried that. I started flashing it with flashtool, but then forgot to install the .zip file from CWM.
With this the phone was asking for a PIN, but soon afterwards it asked for a "SIM network unlock code". My phone is not sim locked.
After I installed the baseband -36 correctly (with the .zip file from CWM), it returned to behave like before: no PIN asked, no networks found.
Is there a fix for this? I searched for a whole afternoon for this, didn't find anything. I'll give further details if needed, thanks in advance.
By the way, if I revert the system to the stock sony ericsson ROM everything works fine. My carrier is "3 Italy".
EDIT: Installed CM9RC2 and now everything works fine except for wi-fi. Well, i suppose it is to be expected from experimemntal builds.

Mobile Network Not Available

Hey guys,
This may be a silly question, but I can't seem to find a solution.
I just flashed PAC-ROM 4.3 using CWM, and everything seems to be working great.
Than I realized I didn't have a mobile network signal, so I tried placing a call and it said "No mobile network detected".
How can I enable mobile network, cause it's not even in the settings no more?
I have the exact same problem, anyone with any kind of possible solution? Here's what I tried already:
1. Removed both battery/SIM for a minute or more then rebooted. (Also made sure that 2G was off)
2. Called a Koodo tech guy who updated the SIM.
3. Went in store to try and put my SIM in a different phone, SIM worked fine.
4. Lady tried installing a different SIM card (her own), still same problem. Tried a brand new one, still not working.
5. Backed up my pictures and factory reset the phone. Same problem.
6. Took SIM out, and the phone does recognize there is not a SIM card and now the phone gives me the NO SIM CARD message at unlock screen.
7. Updated to 4.3 - Nothing changes.
8. Browsed the internet for hours then cried myself to sleep, hoping someone would help me out eventually.
I had the same problem with revolt ROM. I flashed baseband and wiped all data but nothing changed...
I flash a factory image and it worked
Sorry for my bad english

After flashing new rom I can't connect to my mobile operator

Hi,
I was tired of my latest ROM (Cataclysm) and decided to switch. It detects my sim card but I am unable to connect to my mobile operator, data traffic seems fine but not able to place any calls. It finds the correct APN but when searching for carrier it says can't connect right now, try later.
I have used many different ROMs to try and solve the issue but nothing has worked. Last attempt was with Cyanogen installer, the process it self works great but the problem is still there. For each and every re-flash I have wiped everything and formated everything I could find.
This is what I have at the moment.
Android version 4.4.2
Baseband: I9250TDVMK1
Kernel: 3.0.101 - cyanogenmod-gaa35f56
CyanogenMod version: 11.0-installerXNPQ09P
Clockworkmod recovery: 6.0.4.7
I have tried the latest cyanogenmod nightly, cr-Droid v13, XENONHD and one more that I can't remember but all with the same issue.
The sim card works just fine in another phone.
Any got any ideas how to solve this? I don't want to have to buy a new phone. I love this one and surely don't have the cash to buy a new.

No sim detected issue cm 12.1

Hey there. I have a galaxy nexus i19250 maguro device.
was running on 4.3 jellybean and recently updated to lollipop using the snapshot cm 12.1 ROM... Everything went fine during the process but..... once the device restarted,, there's this text of "No SIM detected, Emergency Calls only" and there's no cellular network detected.
I did try rebooting the device, taking out the sim and reinserting it... nothing worked. So I tried restoring the earlier backup and the cellular network was back........
I look forward to use the lollipop version.. if only someone could help me with the issue mentioned above......................
Not sure if I can help, but apparently, the Galaxy Nexus has problems when soft rebooting and won't detect the SIM card. If you do a standard, hard reboot, although you did that and more already…

"No Service" despite a functioning SIM card being inserted

Hi all,
I was running on Fulmics 7.6 for close to a year now, and since it was my backup phone, it was usually on Wi-Fi. But I was able to use my Cricket SIM card before, until yesterday. I got a new SIM card from US Mobile, popped it in, and to my surprise: no data. I got the "No Service" message at the bottom of the notification drawer, and it said "Service disabled" at the top of the lock screen. When I try to update the APN, the "Mobile Networks" option is greyed out. I updated to Fulmics 8.0 and that didn't seem to work. I tried flashing Xceed kernel since some posts said a new kernel would help, and that didn't work. I wiped everything in TWRP, and reflashed, and that didn't work.
I was able to get data to work for a few minutes, when someone suggested using paper on top of the SIM card. After I restarted the phone... data did not work again. Then this morning, I updated Magisk from 13.3 (I think that's what was in Fulmics 8.0) to 15.7, and that got data to work again... but when I updated Magisk Manager to 5.7, data stopped working.
I've since tried clean installing Fulmics 8.0, updating Magisk but not the Manager, and even unrooted my phone and rerooted it. Still no dice. I'm drawing blanks here. The phone clearly detects the SIM, but it insists on not receiving data for some reason. I tried this with 2 different SIM cards that work in my other phones, so I'm not sure what the issue is here.
Probably, simcard slot is broken. Mine LG G3 MB got warranty change, because that problem was same like on yours phone
have you tried without simcard and did you see no serivce or no sim inserted?

If the SIM card is in, it says "service disabled". Without the SIM card, it says "No SIM inserted"
