Coloring Quick Settings? - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know it is possible to change the grey background of the Quick Settings by installing Cm12 themes.
But is this somehow possible on a stock rom? All of the Xperia themes change every other color except the Quick Settings.
Is there any Xposed module to change these colors?

Opaque notification drawer?

With some ROMs, the notification drawer is transparent or semi-transparent, but I find it much easier to read when it's solid black. I've found tons of apps & posts about how to make it transparent, but not non-transparent. Any thoughts?

Some ROM's let you set any image as the background of the notification and quick settings menus. If so, just pick a color you like, make a JPG of that color, and use it. however most ROM's that let you do that also give you the option of selecting a solid color.

Thanks. Any thoughts if the ROM doesn't have that feature?
Download xblast module or wanam lers you chanfe everything from clock color/size/position and all colors in system ui
??
I'm assuming you don't know about the xposed app? Download xposed off of xda. There is a whole forum and then download the module gravitybox and you can change the color of it. And you don't have to change your rom. It's really simple.

Try the Xposed Framework App.
GravityBox with Tinted Transcent Navigation Bar Modules Should do the trick.

[Q] Changing Stock 5.0+ Status bar font

Has anyone figured out a way to change the system status bar font style (clock, battery, notification ticker) for stock 5.0+ ROMs?
Tried ifont, font installer, etc. which were able to change fonts used throughout the system, but all of which leave the status bar font unchanged

Fontster did not change font of statusbar, you must change it manually.
Have a look at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony-themes-apps/changing-sony-stock-5-0-status-bar-font-t3113196/post60853846#post60853846
I might be wrong but this is how my status bar, notification drawer and quick settings with my font of choice using Fonster. This might be due to my modified systemui. Not sure. [emoji6]

I tried Fontster too, didn't work for me. The only thing that worked was to change Roboto-Medium manually to my desired font

Not through the theme engine, but through XML editing of your own Settings.apk: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62138505&postcount=12
Or you could just use the Layers method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/themes-apps/layers-overlay-rro-black-themes-asus-t3162374
You can theme any app with Asus Theme Engine but settings background can't be changed with it, you will be able to change only icon and some colors

Theme LG settings and Quick Settings bar?

Any way to theme the system settings and WAS pulldown bar? It's sort of possible with Substratum, but the icons and text on the QS remain black, while the system settings is unaffected except for the icons.

To change background of the quick settings you can use XQS Background (Xposed module).
Also you can change text in settings by using Custom Text (Xposed module too).

It really works with LG UI? I just installed XQS, but I need to get back to work or I'll be late. Thanks!

XQS Background doesn't do colors, just images you provide. And the only options are transparency. Which is actually not bad, considering it does look pretty cool now. I'd prefer a material design though, with white icons and text. Wish there was some way to do that with both quick settings and the system settings menu.
