Hi All,
My Asus Zenfone 2 seems bricked while trying to Wipe Cache.
I started the phone in recovery mode and tried to Wipe Cache - I made sure that the battery was above 50% (56% to be precise) before this process however, the phone got switched off while the cache was being cleared. When I tried to restart the phone, it would just show a blinking Driod image.
As I never thought of rooting or flashing my phone, I have not enabled the USB Debugging mode.
I have tried all the options to download the Asus / ADB drivers and try clearing the cache using the fastboot erase cache, however my issue is that adb is unable to detect my phone due to USB Debugging being off.
Can someone please help me if there is any way to clear my cache on my phone with the USB Debugging currently being off.
Thanks for the help,
Theja

The same happened to me. In htcmania (an Spanish web like xda) there's a tutorial that worked for me:
ht tp://w ww.htcmania. com/showthread. php?t=1028393 (erase the spaces)
You don't have to follow all the steps. Just run the indicated cwm bat, wipe cache and reboot. It worked for me and without losing any data. I hope it helps you. If you have any question about the language, send me a message.

Hello everybody!! Firstable I've got to apolozige because of my english, i'm portuguese.
So, I came here because I needed help, and I think that I'm in real trouble. I was trying to install a SlimKat ROM in my tab and when I was wiping what I should wipe, it happens that I wiped everything (I put a check in everything but the external something...) I thought that by doing this I was wiping everything but the SD Card (that contained the new ROM and the TWRP recovery). So, i'd just wiped the OS, and basicly everything. I tryed to connect the tab to my computer, but it didn't work, so, I turned it off, to try to access the download mode. When I turned it off it turned it on for itself. Now it's stuck in this menu:
imageshack. com /i/hjYeptKHj
imageshack. com /i/ipdajbnrj
Please help me... Thank you for your time and for your help.

Hey Guys,
I need help here. I'm running (or was running) Euphoria ROM on a Verizon LG G3 with TWRP installed. Without changing/flashing/installing anything new for the past several weeks my phone just shut off yesterday. When I try to power on normal the LG screen comes on then after a few seconds turns off and won't turn back on without a battery pull. Next, if I try to boot into recovery (power + volume down then release and hold volume down + power) and it boots into a "Modified Recovery" that looks like stock LG software but has more options than just factory reset (normal boot / factory reset / wipe cache / safe mode etc). When I try any of these options it reboots, shows the LG boot screen then shuts off and won't restart without a battery pull. I can enter download mode by holding up and inserting the USB while connected to my PC.
Questions:
1) Is it possible restore my phone without losing files/photos?
2) Can I transfer my files to my computer or external SD card before reflashing to stock?
3) What is the easiest method to do any or all of this? LG G3 toolkit? ADB (which I will have to research to do)?
I apologize if there is an obvious place that has this and I missed it. Any links or answers are greatly appreciated!
Is it possible that this is a battery problem not a "brick"? Does the phone boot while charging? My phone had similar problems and the problem was the battery that was faulty.

I originally thought it was my anker battery but I tried with the LG stock battery and it's the same issue. The phone will boot when plugged into a power supply (wall charger or PC) but it just shows the LG screen and turns off and won't reboot.
Anyone? I really want to keep some of the pictures on the internal memory. All I've found is how to factory reset the phone which would delete them but I'd like to find a way to transfer them before I do this. THanks.
U said modified recevery cwm or twrp if thats the case download a random rom place it on your sd card and try to dirty flash a new rom or a otg cable and flash drive

It won't boot into TWRP. It just boot loops the LG startup screen. When i get into normal recovery and select factory reset it doesn't go into TWRP it just reboots, shows, LG screen then shuts off and I have to battery pull to get it to boot again.
If u have a ready linux setup not all people do but it helps sometime i know when i hard bricked it was the only was to save some data for me

Hello people,
First of all, I'm new here with english as my secondary language, so be easy with me, please.
So, I have my unrooted LG G3 D855 with locked bootloader and when I'm trying to boot it up 'Kernel Crash' appears with options to 'reboot' (which makes it back to crash again) and Dload Mode (it doesn't do anything). I saw posts with it but I didn't find fix for myself. I tried to install custom recovery and get custom ROM but my 'USB debugging' is not enabled. I tried finding threads with enabling USB debugging via PC but I dind't find proper answer. I also tried to enter in mode where you can make a factory reset, tried it and Kernel Crash appeared again. And sometimes crash doesn't appear but then I'm stuck with boot loop.
Did I do something wrong ? Is it even possible to do anything to make it work ? I don't need data or media, just need to make my phone work.
I hope it's a good thread and someone can actually help me. Thank you.
I had "Demigod kernel crash" and solved by reflashing phone with a professional box using 910k USB cable, since LG software upgrade didn't recognize the phone
I wasn't able to save internal memory data because TWRP crashed at startup and was formatted in F2FS
Since you have locked BL you just have to reflash stock ROM, just hope that phone will be recognized from PC

Is your device goes to DOWNLOAD mode? (You can do this by powering off device completely then hold volume up key and insert usb cable).
If you have DOWNLOAD mode, then flash stock firmware. (Remember, if you flash using LG Flash Tool, then you have two options of flashing (Normal Flash & CSE Flash. In normal flash, your internal memory will not formatted. In CSE flash, internal memory will be formatted. This is what i learnt from my experiments.). I'll hope this helps.
Hello!
Unfortunately my 9 SE (6GB RAM, 64GB ROM, bought from e-tec.at) got stuck in the boot loop yesterday afternoon.
About the phone: European version, has the latest updates on it, no custom Rom, USB debugging mode is unfortunately not set, no Mi backup, was not registered in the MI account).
The storage space was already quite full. The "MI deep cleaner" app was running and got stuck, a window is constantly popped up. Honestly, I can't say if I clicked and just deleted an app by accident. I heard that it can also be a problem if you simply delete certain apps. So I wanted to restart the phone and it has been in the boot loop ever since. Actually I don't no the real reason it was lagging.
I get into Recovery Mode 3.0 and Fastboot. But I really want to have the photos on my cell phone again, so I dont want to swipe all data. The cell phone is recognized via the PC, but cannot access via the Xiaomi PC Suite (which should be out of date?).
I still have a guarantee for my cell phone. What if I would send it to Xiaomi support, would theyy try to save the data or simply reset everything to factory settings? Who has an idea how I can solve the boot loop problem?
Should I take the cell phone off the power until the battery runs out? It is reboots all the time.
best regards, thank you for your help in advance!!

@Chewei8152: try to get /sdcard of the phone visible in file explorer of pc during recovery or fastboot mode. Then copy your files to pc. Sorry, but there's only a very little chance. (Assuming stock recovery and USB access off.)
Xiaomi repair service will advice a factory reset first and, if they accept your delivery, surely not save any data before.

Thank you for your reply! How do I manage to get the sccard visible?
Do you think that is possible to flash the phone from EDL mode without clear the data (from someone who can do this for me)?
Cheers and many thanks!
