HTC Desire 816 randomly soft bricked - Desire 816 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good afternoon,
I'm having some serious problems with my device and hope someone that knows what they're doing can help me out!
I've had the HTC Desire 816 Dual Sim (Chinese) just less than a year now. I rooted this device about 6 months ago and has served me pretty well. Last week, my device ran down to ~ 3% and I plugged it into my car whilst using Google Maps for the sat nav. The device completely drained and when trying to charge it from the wall socket back at home, the device is stuck in the fastboot menu and has been since; I can't get the device to boot.
The information on the screen is:
*** UNLOCKED ***
A5_DUG PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-3.19.0.0000
RADIO-INVALID_VER_INFO
OpenDSP-INVALID_VER_INFO
OS-
eMMC-boot 1536MB

Click to collapse
Concerned mostly about the "invalid ver info" sections. From the recovery menu, the device just vibrates and restarts; I can't re-install TWRP or CWM and keep getting an error when I try to.
Does anyone have any initial suggestions? It'd really help me out. Thanks in advance.

You must try reflashing. There are tutorials in here, your software has an error somewhere, you must make a clean install.
Check to make sure your volume button isn't stuck after the reassembly as this could cause the phone to boot into boot loader when you press the power button.
Well done for replacing the screen though.:good:

Phone stuck in bootloader

Hello XDA i'm a little embarrassed because I'm usually spot on with modding my phones, I've searched the forums looking for a solution there are some posts close to my problem but none of the solutions help me. I have a Tmobile HTC One M8 S-On, bootloader unlocked, TWRP 2.7.0.2 with Cyanogenmod 12.1-20150901. I had planned on trading my phone in so i was going to return the phone to stock, I was in the process of locking the bootloader and i answered the landline at work when i turned back to my phone it was in the bootloader displaying the folowing.

Now the phone will not boot into anything else i've rebooted bootloader, tried going into recovery nothing. My computer will not recognize the phone so i can't really do anything with adb, I'm either not thinking clearly because of my irritation level or i'm not as smart as i like to think i am. Any assistance from the xda community will be greatly appreciated
Well after a goodnight sleep and a little pep talk i figured it out i finally coaxed my computer into seeing my phone and reunlocked the bootloader and my phone is back!!!
How did you do it? I have the same problem from doing the same thing...! please help !

Help in finding out what OS my HTC one m9 is running.

Hi everyone,
I just recently purchased an HTC one M9 from a friend. I loved the phone! Unfortunately after a few days of using that phone, it just won't boot passed the HTC splash screen. After digging up stuff in the internet I figured that it may have been flashed before I purchased it.
The download screen says:
***RELOCKED***
htc_himauhl PVT S-ON
LK-1.0.0.000
RADIO-01.01_U11440801_97.04.60111G_F

OS-3.42.708.3
Feb 16 2016,23:17:47(702159)
Now for me to fix it, i guess i need to find out what OS has this device been flashed with. How do I check that in the download mode?
Thanks!
PS I am not a techie person - I have no idea how to root, flash, etc.
