I wouldn't touch Vifocal with a barge pole.
But thanks for the listing - and here's another cute leather belt pouch (available only in India, I'm afraid).
Chrome displays a red warning screen (Malware detected) when trying to visit the mobilespart website mentioned above.
Hello Thanks for this list. Any idea if the usb port is available ? My port is no longer charging the phone :'(
Thanks

Hi there.I don´t know if this post goes here.Sorry if it doesn´t.I didn´t know where to put it
I was changing the digitizer on my Desire HD and I realize that that I broke the ribbon on the picture. Can anyone help me about what to do?Thanks in advance.
Sadly been there and done that....Only 1 solution-buy another. This process is next to impossible without lots of experience-parts are very fragile! Your best bet is to buy an entire assembly with the digitizer and lcd already attached. Much much easier, but not easy by any means still. Good luck.

Hi again.I change the screen but now the wifi won´t work.I can´t activate the wifi.It says error. It´s like i don´t have a wifi antenna.Any help?
wifi antenna
I think your problem is bigger than an antenna. The antenna is the same one as the gps antenna and is fitted in the panel around the flash leds. If you were to enable the wifi and just could not pick up any access points, then I would say it was your antenna, but if you are receiving an error, it is more likely that either the wifi module is damaged or somehow disconnected.
Do the rest of the radio parts work? i.e. GPS, Cell, bluetooth? Can you tell me exactly what the error is that you are receiving?

not much, but it is simple test for the flex ribbon.
open the phone and check the flex connection too motherboard
worst possible thing is that you ripped the flex ribbon during removal from middle chassis
2 areas worth checking-the reciever jack at the top of the phone CAN be put on in the wrong direction-red wire should be towards the top of the phone, black towards the bottom. The long, all black wire running by the camera is the bluetooth coaxial cable and maybe not on its connector properly-kind of pops on when right-check both ends. It also could be damaged/pinched running up through the phone. It could also just be a bad component on the upper board and that whole board needs replacing-a pain after what you've done already.
bluetooth/wifi and volume buttons not working
I think yamFZ6 is right. You likely have a cable not fully seated or a damaged cable. Both the Bluetooth and wifi are on the same chip so it makes sense that both of them would fail together, the volume buttons are a separate module, so they are likely all on a single cable that has issues.
One last thing to try before tearing it apart again, do a full wipe and see if it works properly. This is a long shot, but worth checking and can help with troubleshooting if you cannot find any cable issues.
Good luck,
Let us know what you find.

Looks like the black wire (blue tooth coaxial) near the camera is in toward the battery area too far...battery would be pushing in on it every time and could have broken it...admit that's a long shot...but. Starting to feel like a new "upper" circuit board is in order...hope this helps

Do you know where to buy it?
I have seen it for sale somewhere out there but can't find out where that was now. I would look for a "parts" phone on ebay. usually you get more than a fair amount of usable other parts with it. I just did this for that exact issue plus I needed a 'mid frame'. I got just about everything else with it also as the lower, main board was the problem with that particular phone, Got a usable digitizer, lcd, case, extra wires, camera etc etc all for around $60. You also get the added luxury of more practice/expertise with assembly.

Hi!
I recently bought a HTC Desire from a friend, seems like he manage to break the minijack (only one headphone works when plugged in - the left one works, both works when i pull the jack further out, but with terrible connection), i tried to clean it - but still the same problem..
Also the speaker is broken..
Are there any places i can get hold of a speaker and minijack for HTC Desire?
Is it possible to solder of those to components and change?
Thanks for all help on beforehand!
Best regards,

Don't know how well that would go, I think you'd be better off buying the upper board (or upper and lower) and replacing that.
So where can I get this "upper board"?
Thanks for quick reply!

Seems like its going to be this one then. Also this will only change the minijack i guess.. Most likely going to buy this one to, if this one will replace speaker.

Hello my friend,i think its has to do with NFC operation,or the wireless charging, its not important
Not important be damned...tech broke it he fixes it...period.
If he refuses, report him to his boss (if he has one) and whatever passes for Trading Standards wherever you hail from.
Name and shame.
That's not on.

wireless charging? ....wtf? it could be a screen connector or so .. but easy to find out
Hi guys,
So I replaced my LCD due to a crack, and it was my first time. I also changed the housing. The Speaker works, and the volume flex cable is in.
So the volume buttons do work.
But now, The microphone isn't working. So if I call someone, or go on voice memo, it doesn't work.
I tried Stock ROM and Android Revolution, so it's not software.
----------------------------------------------
So when I search for microphone :
-ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313&_nkw=One+X+Microphone&_sacat=0&_from=R40
I get flex cables for the upper part,
and some like this : -ebay.com/itm/Power-On-Off-Microphone-Connector-Flex-Cable-Ribbon-for-AT-T-HTC-One-X-/370817531834?pt=US_Cell_Phone_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item5656727fba
Which from what I know is power flex and noise canceller.
Or : -ebay.com/itm/Replacement-Navigation-Light-Microphone-Flex-Cable-For-HTC-One-X-S720e-G23-/111019753739?pt=US_Cell_Phone_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item19d94b010b
Which is flex cable, and not microphone.
--------------------------------
I already paid a whole lot for the screen and housing, and don't really have money to spare for this phone. Life goes wrong, huh?
but if it's gonna be needed, I guess I gotta do it.
--------------------------------
What should I buy, and can I make it work with no money and just using what I have by any chance?
-------------------------------
Nothing is teared, the powerflex works perfectly. I was 100 % precise in doing everything, because I know how it gets bad with cables and all.
Also, the phone is International version, and unlocked. The mic worked before LCD replacement.
Edit 1 : The Mic makes a static noise when I try it with Google Now and Voice Memo, it's all a static noise. It sometimes produces more, and sometimes less. Can it be fixed?
Thanks for reading this, or helping in advance.
Any One?
What should I buy?
Hi. Had the same issue on one One X, did you get it working?

hi there,
I changed the Flex Cables ( Bought one of those $30 packages on eBay ) and it worked.
Also, there's an app called SoundAbout. That fixes it without changing any flex cables as well.
Best of luck.

Showing one option to connect USB connector to watch with the help of a 3d printer. Connection on the PCB pads were made using safety pins secured on the back of the 3d printed cradle.
Some points,
An extra support part is glued at the back of the cradle for the pins
The pins are secured by hex bolts and washer. Once they are secured, a good dab of CA glue on the bolt+washer+pins will permanently keep them fixed.
The safety pins on the watch connection side might bump into each other thus if you notice on the video, one of the pin has a tape on it to prevent physical contact to one another.

Thank you very much for posting and sharing. :good:

Wasn't really sure based on the pics why would you not fix the wires through "channels" but the video helped a lot!
I had the same idea except I am only researching the problem and no 3D printed experience

Hello again,
just a quick request if I may.
I tried to get a quote to get the ODIN_CRADLE_R830.stl v2 printed and they get back to me saying:
There are issues with the parts themselves. The wall thickness is too small in some regions. Please see the attached images. To ensure printability, please increase the wall thickness to at least 0.45mm.
Could you please do this for me? Is there any effect on useability?
Please see the attached picture.
Many thanks

Hi everybody!
After a long time, I decided to try to bring my Galaxy Active 2 back to life (after I killed it while trying to change its CSC to the brazilian CSC) and I've been looking for the pin schematic to connect it via USB.
You've been doing an amazing job with devices to hold the wires and connections but even though I looked all around I couldn't find a schematics for the active 2 (SM-R820) to know that color of wire goes to what pin.
Does anybody know how to connect it? To make things easier, here a photo of the connectors with numbers. I'd appreciate a lot if anyone could help. Thanks!
