Hi guys!
Please help me! I am about to update my XPERIA M (4.3 stock rom) to Lollipop 5.1.1, but I made a mistake in the first step.
When you install a rom you have to enable the USB debugging. I enabled it, but didn't confirm.
This means I don't have the USB debugging enable.
I successfully flashed the boot.img with fastboot, but when I'm about wipe data / factory reset, or anything else it shows a lot of error like: unable to mount /data (cause i didn't enable the usb debugging).
Tried to flash stock FTF with Flashtool, but didn't work (some kind of loader.sin error).
So I have right now a XPERIA M with cyanogen recovery, within I can't do anything, and can't flash stock ROM.
PLEASE HELP ME!

May be the ftf file is corrupted. Download again & try.
try to flash cm12.1 with cwm recovery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494793

CWM is no more there after installing a new rom and new rom won't load. Then i have to flash the stock rom again > root it > install CWM. Again when i install any rom it would install normally but nothing gives a blank screen after reboot and the stock rom is not even there.
The situation is occurring with the following;
Phone: Sony Xperia ARC S (LT18i)
Bootloader: unlocked
Android version 2.3.4 (Build 4.0.2.A.42) -
I have made multiple attempts on installing new roms but nothing works. Every time i reboot after installation im left with a blank screen. Can anyone advise what the problem could be ?
Thanks
Did u flash the kernel for the ROM u flashed ? The ROM will not boot without its kernel.

you must be installing CWM into the system through one touch command prompt program.. as such as soon as the ROM changes and you wipe out data and cache, CWM disappears..try flashing a custom recovery kernel which are available even for stock roms.
Also follow these steps for a custom ROM (eg CM9):
download the ROM, extracted it into a folder, copy the boot.img where you can remember, then copy the original cm9 ZIP - not the extracted folder- into the root of SD..use fastboot mode of flashtools to flash the kernel boot.img which you had copied..its a recovery kernel so CWM should open..wipe out SD data..then cache..and then go into advanced option and clear dalvik..and then proceed to install zip from sd..then gapps.zip if u want..it should install fine..and then reboot.
Press Thanks if you think i was of help to you..:good:

Got it - Yes i was installing CWM within stock rom via market. though i tried to install it through adb/windows but still i guess the problem was all about not installing a custom recovery kernel.
Thanks a lot !

You got no battery ?
I suggest you put your mobile to charging for 2-3 hours.
And you need not install fastboot drivers, you just need flashmode drivers.
You can easily install them. So did you face any error while trying to flash a stock rom ? as you said you've tried to flash it, so what were the results ?
Please help me unbrick my phone! (panicking slightly)
A few days ago I received a new XP1C, and I immediately (without ever booting it into stock) unlocked it, flashed boot.img from the newest CWM nightly, and proceeded to install cyanogen's newest nightly.
BOOT LOOP.
I've tried:
1) other ROMs (both from Cyanogenmod, and other developers). All result in boot loops.
2) using flashtool to try to return it to stock. It connects to the phone, but fails during the process.
3) connecting with ADB - device is not showing up.
when I do a wipe data/factory reset I get some errors:
Error Mounting /data!
Skipping format
...
E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
...
Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure!
Skipping format...
I would be most grateful if anyone had any ideas of things for me to try. I have been all over the forums and am totally out of ideas... :crying:
Did you backup TA partition?
Cause from what i understand you need to restore those keys before reverting to stock rom.

I did not back up or change anything when I got the new phone. I just took it out of the box, plugged it in to the usb on my laptop, and did the Sony unlock process.
Flash a stock firmware in flashtool (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2768044 )
Flash stock rom using flashtool and boot into os first, then proceed to fastboot and custom rom.. You have not reboot after unlocking BL, and flashed kernel using fastboot.. Thats why u r getting this error..

Do i have to flash a custom kernel ( via Flashtool / Command Promt ) before i have to flash a custom ROM ??
Sorry mate for the long reply !
Well, i think it's your recovery problem..
Try to flash boot.img that included in rom .zip
Flash it using fastboot via flashtool...
And then, try to flash it again
