Internal Storage Problem - HTC Desire Eye

Having Internal Storage Problem on Lollipop
I installed Skydragon Kitkat ROM. My mobile was alright.
But, when i installed Beatmod ROM(Lollipop) my internal storage was not showing in device.
*Not showing in any file manager apps, but i'm able to access files on a PC .
I tried restoring a Stock backup. But same problem persist.
When i Restored Kitkat(Skydragon ROM) , my device is alright...
Please anyone helpme to solve this issue. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

1. Revert back to KitKat and FULL BACKUP all of your files from you internal storage.
2. Remove Memory Card.
3. Do a FULL WIPE INCLUDING INTERNAL STORAGE.
4. Install your Lollipop ROM.
5. Boot and restore all your files from your backup.
NOTE: Use TWRP Recovery

Internal memory low

Hi, Im running MIUI v4 and when I go to App Manager It says I have about 54MB left in my internal storage. However, When I try to download Skype (about 25MB) It says that my internal storage is full. I'm not sure if thats a system bug or it's not showing my internal storage correctly? Any ides on this?

It Does.
In CWM partition your SD card to ext4 and
try ex2int --> put it to init.d folder in rom package and reflash your phone. After restart and reboot you will have a space from sd card on your phone.

One question. I understand I have to reflash ROM for this but can I use a backup to restore it after wipe so I dont't have to install everything all over again, Or I must reflash NEW ROM?
Use odex version.

Take a titanium backup...
Check all files are linked.
Integrate davlik into System ROM using titanium backup.

[Q] Sd card issue (CM 10)

Hello folks,
Recently I have flashed CM 10 via CWM 6.0.3.2 on my Samsung Galaxy W. (I followed this procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990795)
Everything worked out fine (yay) exept for two issues I have:
1. My SGW doesn't recognize my Sd card (internal) at all. (though internal is mounted in cwm menu)
I have several folders regarding my sd and external sd:
- sdcard> tells me it is "unplugged" (in German> translation might differ) when I enter via file manager
- mnt/sdcard> here it tells me my sd card is unplugged as always
- storage/sdcard0> unplugged
- external_sd> it tells me sd card unplugged if I enter
- mnt/external_sd >here I can enter all of my folders
- storage/sdcard1> here I can enter again
2. My SGW can't mount my external sd anymore. I can clearly enter my external sd's files, but apparently I cannot mount my PC. Especially not with Multimount because it requests me to mount my internal sd (issue 1).
So how do I get it to work properly? - is it possible to do it via Terminal Emulator?
Specifications:
- Samsung Galaxy W
- Android Version 4.1.2.
- Kernel Version: 3.0.80-cyanogenmod-gc689589
[email protected] #1
- Cyanogenmod Version: 10-20130605- UNOFFICIAL-ancora
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi, I have similar issues with internal storage after flashing to 4.2.2 and also 4.1.2. Model is galaxy W previously 2.3.6 stock.
At root, i have
/data, which seems to be my internal storage as the FX file explorer show it has a storage of 1.07gb
/external_sd, which contains my files in micro sd card
/sdcard, which ES say SDCard unmounted
/storage, which contains sdcard0 (SDCard unmounted), sdcard1 (micro sd), usbdisk (SDCard unmounted)
In the andriod settings > storage, I can see internal storage with total space 1.07gb, but unable to mount it.
My camera and gallery says "No external storage available".
What should I do? Please help

This can be done for the SDcard you can unplug and plug directly to an other device like an PC, but not with the internal.
So better try the following. Secure your files if you can. Reboot into recovery and format there both. Rebooot into CM10 or whatever ROM you are using and change your USB operation mode from MTP to Mass Storage.

If The Internal Is The Problem Then You Must Back To The Main Software 2.x.x
Then Back To The Edited Mods And Rom's
The Internal Storage Will Work
...............................
When That Happen To Me ... That What I Have Done

You probably mean back to stock Samsung ROM. But how will this fix corrupted partitions? And why "must" if there are probably more simple ways to fix it rather than flashing roms forth and back?
First of all he should format both and switch to Mass Storage mode to see if this fixes his issue. Flashing ROMs still can be tryied as a last resort.

I think you are mixing something up. First of all he didn´t say he can´t mount / access it from CWM Recovery but from a running ROM. This is two different things so it still should be possible to access both in CWM Recovery and to do a format.
Secound. Flashing a ROM will not format the internal Storage but only the partition where the ROM will be flashed to. They are not the same, so this is also two different things. So even if you flash a ROM but are having corrupted SDcards (Internal and external) they will stay corrupted till you fix this.
And this is why I suggested to first boot into RECOVERY, format both and finally after rebooting change to Mass Storage as the MTP Mode is not always working very well. If this doesn´t help he still can flash back to stock ROM.
However now I´m just repeating what I already said before. If you can´t get it, then I´m sorry for you.

[Q] Internal Memory wiped clean!!!!!!

Dear All,
I was on stock ROM on my optimus G -e975, installed AOSP, installed philz touch and houston's kitkat, then moved to CM11. While moving to kitkat, i modified philz touch to look into \data\media folder, so that i find's the ROM zip files from there... Now, i had an issue in CM11, which forced me to restore my stock nandroid backup... during the restore process, i forgot that i have changed the default path, so I did a clean install wiping everything in the following order:
Recovery--> advanced--> wipe system\data\cache --> back format\factory reset-->wipe data...
After than I restored the nandroid backup of stock rom. Now, I don't have anything in my internal SD card.. Free space is 24 GB out of 25 GB... I had around 24 GB of data in my internal memory card befor the restore...
So, Is there any way to restore the wiped data???? Any help willl be very greatfull for me.. since I have lost everything from my phone.....:crying:
U formatted ur sd card...i dont know if it still recoverable.. There's an app on playstore which could retrieve files try it
Sent from my Optimus G
Dave,
I tried some apps from playstore, but they don't have the capability to restore the recovered data to the same internal memory... also, since our device doesn't support otg, i'm unable to point the app to external memory devices...can you pls suggest any apps which has capability to restore to internal memory???

[Q] Odd TWRP Issue

Hi all. I am a serious noob to certain rooting stuff so sorry if this post sounds weird. I have a HTC one M8 rooted with Cyanogenmod. Its a great phone, but one thing i noticed after making a nandroid backup of my CM rom was that apparently in recovery mode my TWRP install, and restore does not see zip files. I later found out that TWRP is defaulting on the install and recover screens to my root folder which has none of my backups. Essentially, I can't get into the traditional internal storage folder which has all my zip files and downloads. Is there any way I can get around it and access my traditional internal storage again? I should note that there is nothing really wrong with the phone, I can boot into it and it works fine. I simply cannot access my traditional storage though in recovery.

Wait. Are you using TWRP to try to restore a CWM backup? You can't do that. They are non-compatible.
EDIT: sorry I misread what you posted. You can direct TWRP to either internal or external sd by cliucking wher it says "storage: internal/external" at the top when you are in recovery.
thanks but..
thanks but the issue is twrp says my internal storage is 0mb. I will double check, but i should note that i am not having a deleted OS issue that other people with 0mb storage problems have. My phone is fine its just the storage that acts works ok TWRP recovery

TWRP has some bug where it can't mount internal storage. Try to re-install TWRP, and the latest version, and see if that helps.
Its seems your right about TWRP having a bug as I just went into recovery and I could freely access all the internal storage files and see all my backups.

BRICKED(or almost) my find7a ..some help?(adb format?)

Hi guys,
this morning i had to the brilliant idea to go from OMNI 4.4.4 LVM into ColorsOs (chinese version) 4.4.4(not lvm..)
i did a complete wipe and COLOROS worked
but since there were few things i didn't like i wanted to re install my Nadroid backup..
so i went in recovery wiped all and re installed nandroid backup but IT FAILED
Basically the things is UNABLE TO MOUNT INTERNAL SD
i can ADB mobile on windows but (if i remove external sd card) not partition is seen
there is a way i can solve? did i just brick my phone? or i can create this internal sd card?? I can go in recovery and use ADB
thanks for you help

LITTLE UPDATE
i USED my nandroid backup and from it i could install just the BIOS .. and i've got back my OMNI ROM but internal partition is only 2,9GB
so how can i get back all normal from this point? like REVERSE LVM or reinstall it ??
or jsut format partition..
thank you all !
Ok.. I solved it... Main problem seemed to be that I went from a lvm rom to a Not LVM... so I used 2 files to revert and recreate lvm.. In the end I've got my rom back to work
