Can't access USSD on AOSPAL - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been using AOSPAL for a few months and I am attempting to access T-Mobile's USSD to unlock my phone . However, its just says "USSD Code Running," and it takes me back to dialer. Do I have to go back into LG Stock UI and use the USSD codes or theres a fix for it? Also Im concerned about if I flash another ROM or restore my back up, would my phone still be unlocked?

Bump this up, did you ever find a solution?

Service Mode Menu SIM Unlock

So a lot of us have used THIS ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014982 ) method to unlock the ATT Note 2, and reported that it works, well, for me it "worked", it unlocked the phone but with a Simple Mobile and T-Mobile SIM it just never gave me access to the network, it connected to it but I wasn't able to make a call, only emergency calls. ( if anyone knows what I'm talking about and has a fix please let me know )
So I looked all over for a way to revert the changes done to the phone and was not lucky. I started playing with that Service Mode menu till I found a way to revert the changes, so I will post here the steps just in case someone wants to do that.
========================================
Do this procedure AT YOUR OWN RISK

I navigated the whole Service Mode menu of the Samsung Note II and finally found the option to revert the changes made to the phone.
Steps:
Enter the Service Mode menu:
Dial *#197328640#
//After keying the last # sign the menu will open by itself now follow this menu options:
[1]UMTS
[6]COMMON
[6]NV REBUILD
[4]RESTORE BACKUP
//There should be a written msg in the bottom that says "Golden-Backup exists..." after selecting this option the phone rebooted by itself and all the changes I did reverted back to how they were ( I did lots of changes trying to get this phone back to defaults but I logged all changes I did and they reverted after this )//
When I went back to this menu after using it, the written MSG changed to "Golden-Backup does not exist you man not use option 4-5" I believe that the Golden Backup is created when you do the first change on the phone using this Service Mode menu, I have not verified what I just said because I haven't made any change to the phone after this.

I wonder if it resets the entirety of the service menu? I just tried it The reason why I wanted to try this is cause I messed up something in there that didnt allow me to use the menu to change UMTS to EDGE and so on

Don't you need T-mobile RADIO to get it working on T-mobile network?

ok seems to be a common problem and i have done a lot of googling to no answer, maybe you guys can help.
So I have a note 2 from Vodafone i got it unlocked so i can use my O2 card in it,everything worked fine, i did not get the unlock code from Vodafone i brought to a shop and they unlocked it for me,its worked for the last three months fine then all of a sudden it keeps saying "NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK" it hasnt been able to make 1 phone call or sms since and is not a coverage problem,I've tried all the usual take bat out reinsert sim check for flight mode etc etc....
On the status screen it says "emergency calls only" when i try to select the network manually it finds the o2 network but when i select it it says "UNABLE TO CONNECT TRY AGAIN LATER" WEIRED THING IS MY DATA WORKS AND GETS THE 02 APN SETTINGS but still no calls and texts........,THE WEIRDER THING IS i put my vodafone sim in and it works fine make calls send texts no problem,,its like the phone is locked to Vodafone again by itself but its not prompting for the unlock code with other network sim,any ideas guys??

thanks for the reply, can u tell me how to do this?
imei no with #06# is the same as on back of phone if that means anything?
If your IMEI showing correctly then chances are less you have broken EFS folder.
I don't know this will work, but you can try
Dial *#197328640#
Main Menu - UMTS - Debug Screen - Phone Control - Network Lock - Options Perso SHA256 OFF - wait 30 seconds,
then go back
Network Lock then choose - NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ
wait for a min and reboot

Can I reflash the stock rom its in the forums here to download? My only worry is that if it doesnt work and I still have the same problems will my warrenty be void when I send it to vodafone to be fixed? If I can restore the phone back to the way it is now with no worry of warrenty being void then ill whack away and flash new rom to see if it helps.....any help appreciated my head is melted

Problme to use Code

I have a problem to put code in my S6 Edge G925T, if i put *#06# to see my imei doesn't work, dont say nothing, no show nothing, and its the same problem with the all codes, don't do nothing, can some one help me to fix this problem, i have the Xtrolite ROM v2.2
Sometimes you will need stock firmware for codes to work properly or work at all.

Can't Make Calls After installing Custom ROM [SPH-L710] [Straight Talk]

A few months ago I tried flashing CM's 4.4.4 ROM, shortly there after I re-activated my Sprint phone on Straight Talk - could not get the phone to register on their network no matter what I tried.
Finally went back to a stock d2spr ROM and put in a ##nnn# code and it registered and I was able to make calls. Couldn't use the SD card for hardly any apps, it ran slow, and couldn't use the hotspot feature.
Brings me to now, I installed PAC-ROM LP MR1 and installed just fine, but again - can't make any calls. Network bars show a !
Every time I try to make a call it says the code I have dialed is invalid.
I have scoured the boards and cannot find anything that makes sense.
Can anyone give me an idea what I am doing wrong?

CM 13 - Galaxy Note 2 Sprint - Problems resetting user data

My Nexus 5 took a swim so I had to downgrade to a Galaxy Note 2. I figured it would be a good idea to update the OS to CM 13. The problem I am having is I can't access the data programming section to change my user information.
I tried calling Sprint, but that did not help. None of the codes they gave me to put into the dialer worked. I tried: ##3282# and nothing happens. Is there a CyanogenMod code that will allow me to access data programming screen?
You'll probably have to flash a stock ROM to access the dialler menus. Same thing happens when you try to input a network unlock code while running a non-TW rom.
