can anyone recommend a kernel thats simple that provides a smoother experience for gaming and UI. i know JB has project butter but i notice in some games like ski safari, there are stutters that i don't experience on my galaxy s2 (exynos). do i need a kernel with 512mhz gpu for smoother gaming? or a lower step (higher than stock) is enough? im asking this because in my experience overclocking gpu or cpu too much causes more problems sometimes.
use any of the trinity kernels and it will take care of any lag in games.

I use Franco kernel with 512mhz GPU, no problem so far.
Hi can someone share best configuration for gaming?
select performance governor and if you don't care about sdcard you can make a swap file around 1,5GB. The performance will be at maximum but at the cost of battery life. Enjoy.

Possibly because of the underpowered GPU? The GPU has less grunt than the S805 so you will see a performance hit.
Hi all, as the title says: the Stock MM has better performance then the Stokc LP?
As games I means normal games, online games (Mobile League) and heavy games (Like Hearthstone & co)
Thanks for the answers,
LightDestory.
For me it's the same on both
So far i've yet to experience an inferior performance, compared to Lollipop.
Are there any performance tweaks that can be made to improve gaming performance?
Nope. About the only thing you could do is flash a kernel that overclocks the GPU, and you still might be disappointed.
