Hi can someone share best configuration for gaming?
select performance governor and if you don't care about sdcard you can make a swap file around 1,5GB. The performance will be at maximum but at the cost of battery life. Enjoy.

I am trying to get the best battery life out of my device, but I am unsure what the best settings are for the kernel I use. I am using Chads newest from June 27th. Should I leave the kernel running at the stock speed 998 for max and then 128 for min? Or would you save more battery underclocking the max speed? If so, how much should one underclock it to?

Your best bet is try different settings. I set my min at 128 and max i'll set it at the lower 900 or mid 800 settings for normal use to save battery life. If im playing a game i over clock it.
Using 844 max myself and never had an issue playing games. I've seen others underclock in the 600-700 range too. Just see how low you can go without sacrificing stability.

My question is, whats the best Governor and I/O smooth gaming?Battery life i dont mind because im using a 2500mah battery and as long as it doesnt drain that fast.
And whats the best Min.Clock freq to put?
If you use the performance governor, it will always run at the max frequency, so the min frequency won't matter. This will drain your battery very fast, and the device might get hot. I don't know about I/O, but you can just play with the settings and find something that works for you.

Ive currently got my setcpu set up to scale the cpu down from max to min dependent on my battery life. I was just wondering what governor/scheduler is the best for battery life? I'm currently running the ktoon gov with the default scheduler which is noop. is this good or bad? what could I run better to increase battery life?
Im not gaming or anything Im just talking day to day internet usage, text, call..Very rarely do I game as I can't find any good games to play thanks in advance for your help!
Completely depends on how u use it. No one really uses it just like u use ur phone. So u just have to experiment with wat gov and what ever.
But if u r using KT747 kernel I would refer to this forum it is extremely informative and gives u preset tweaks if u want balanced or battery saving performance options just take a glance read thru it and hope it helps u out!!!!

dude..setcpu is all about setting speed of your processor
the lower the speed is set the higher battery performance and lower will be the speed of your phone
if want a balance then set ondemand governer
but if you dont care about performance and want some good battery then lower the cpu speed to 750mhz(lower then this could cause a headache)

Nope. About the only thing you could do is flash a kernel that overclocks the GPU, and you still might be disappointed.
