Hey folks,
I bought my m9 a couple of months ago from a telstra store in Darwin, Australia but since I'm German I went back to Germany permanently. Now that I'm having trouble with my phone - the vibrator isn't working anymore, seems to be a common issue - I'd like to gather information on how to make use of my warranty here in Germany. Before I left Australia I went to a phone store again asking them about warranty and I was assured that HTC gives one year of global warranty which is independent of the current country.
Is there anyone here who had to deal with a similar situation? I know I could just contact HTC Germany but I'd like to some knowledge before Already.
Cheers Max

Hi all,
Got a TP2 from Vodafone UK this week. Realy liking the device so far, infact it's probably the first WM phone I have used in ages that I have not splattered with apps just to make it usefull!
My main gripe with Vodafone so far is that the colour scheam they have shosen for the TouchFlow is 'Vodafone Red' with black so the message count bubbles are totaly unreadable!
Anyway, one strange this with this device is that I seem to have lost the ability to use HTMP email format and also the ability to flag messages etc... I have been told that this is a Vodafone 'thing' so that you want to use their email services... So does anyone know how to turn this back on ???
Thanks

I have a few questions if you don't mind:
Is the actual phone Vodafone branded in any way, or is it just the software?
Also, did you get it from a Vodafone shop, or was it delivered to your home?
I'm interested in getting one from Voda soon, what deal did you get it on, and did you have to pay much for the handset?
Cheers - hope you're enjoying the phone ;-)

No, it's HTC branded just voda build of the firmware....for now
Got it delivered direct from Voda, Most of the high street shops will not stock them because of their value
No idea on deals because it is on my company package so it works totaly differently
Hope this helps.

Mine should have been delivered from Vodafone today, but it has been delayed until tomorrow.
I got it from the Vodafone business site and it is available for free on any tariff from £30pm (+VAT) I'm getting 500 mobile minutes, 250 texts, unlimited internet and unlimited landline calls - or I will be when it turns up!! It is shown as coming soon on the site but if you eing up they have them in stock
Someone on Beasty's "A Dream just walked in" thread got theirs yesterday and it has a Vodafone theme and a little Vodafone sign on it apparently. I will let you know what mine is like when I get it
Seems very tempting, I may leave T-mob for this!
Do you know what the Vodafone business support is like if the phone goes faulty? I know with T-mob I got next day swap-out, and wonder if Vodafone offer this too?
Also, do you know if it's supplied unlocked?

Got mine from Vodafone yesterday and it is dual-branded. HTC at top of screen and Vodafone at the bottom. I agree on the colour scheme as I changed my Pro to black, but the calendar is different on the Pro 2 and I can't seem to find a suitable alternative - any suggestions appreciated.
BTW, my initial impressions are that this phone is a BIG improvement on the Pro and well worth the upgrade.
Hi,
Anyone know any webshops that got either Omnia or Mozart in stock? Needs to be without a contract.
Currently the delivery dates in Norway seems to be all over the place, so I might just get the phone from a international shop.

I was wondering the same thing for Sweden now. As far as I know, only 3 has devices now, however I'm not in Sweden at the moment (returning later next week) so I'm unable to check...
Has anyone claimed warranty on a rooted HD with a custom ROM bought from o2 Germany (o2 branded)? I know that you can flash the o2_DE RUU and it should make it look like it's never been touched, but I haven't tried doing it and I am wondering if someone has...
I am having this issue with the headphone jack and I think I might have to return the phone. In my past experience however, the company that handles repairs for o2 has some seriously pedantic engineers working for them and I am wondering whether they check the HD for changed timestamps etc. I know it's always possible to tell if the user has been monkeying around with the phone and before I blow my warranty I would like to know if o2 technical support goes to great lengths to check...
Thanks!
Hi, i've just purchased an used One X, which is supposed to have an European Warranty (the seller says so), i noticed today that i have an African CID (HTC__016). Now, i'm not good in geography, but Africa is not Europe..
Is the CID related to the warranty or is it only an HTC thing? I'm sure it's no brand because of the HTC string before the number, but i'd like to know if i can rely on my warranty in case of need or not
Thanks!
Is there a web site to check that, maybe with my IMEI number?
P.s: i live in Italy
You can ask the online retailer where to go for warranty repairs.
As far as I know, HTC's warranty used to be region specific. It was also mentionee in their warranty booklet. But with the One X, the warranty booklet just mentions that warranty is applicable in countries where the device is sold. So, in theory, ifu have a HTC repair center in your country, and the One X is officialy being sold in your country, then warranty is applicable.
Hello guys,
first off let me tell you that I've been waiting for HTC 10 for a freaking long time since it came out. But...
I live in Czech Republic and the latest model isn't available here yet. Also according to official dealership release date is still unknown.
I am kind of hesitant to get one from another state since It might be tricky to claim warranty if needed, not saying that buying one from UK or DE informs me right away that shipping to CZ is not possible. So I would like to ask you guys, do you have any experience getting a device from abroad and what way would you recommend to get one? (version with Hi-Res earphones included is kinda mandatory for me )
I am too eager to wait even longer, my M8 was a wonderful companion for more than last two years, but I wanna get something fresh for a change
I will appretiate every comment and advice thanks!
I'm your neighbour, live in Poland.
Lucky we have HTC 10 official available, also shipping possible from UK and DE.
I have two HTC 10, one polish carbon grey, and red version 64 gb rom from ebay. When I ordered from ebay Czech Republic was included to international shipping (only Brasil, Mexico and Albania excluded)
