Hi,
I am having a weird problem on my HTC Desire 816 cell phone. It is rooted and have downloaded "NextApp SDFix".
But after fixing and rebooting the phone, when i tried to copy and paste from internal to external sd card, I am getting
an error as "java.lang.nullpointerexception item not copied".Please help me to sort out this issue.Have tried this on both
MixPlorer and default file manager of HTC, but no use.
Thank You.

hello everyone.
i am a new user of htc hd.
i have found a few apps for my htc but i cant make them work. i have the windows 6.1.
here is what i do.
i sync my htc with my pc, then i transfer (copy and paste) the folders with the programms at my sd memory that came with the htc. i go at the file explorer of htc and i hit the setup file. it opens the opera browser kai then it stays like that. all it shows is a white screen.
is there something i am doing wrong?
so... copy .cab file to the memory card, then find the file through file explorer and run it...
have a fun with your new htc and don't forget to add any new application
here (if is not already there)
I have a rooted HTC Desire (GSM) (3 network) with,
*MildWild V-2.7.2 Based on Oxygen 2.3.2 HTC Desire GSM* CW recovery V4....
I've successfully installed and managed to partition my SD but I recently decided to change my Boot animation.
I downloaded the correct "animationboot.zip" file with the correct resolution and placed it on the root of my SD as explained in a tutorial.
However when on my file explorer (both astro and native MIldWild app) I couldn't locate the "/system/media or the data/local/" folders on my sd card or even when connected in usb mode.
I tried just installing the animation straight from my recovery menu but it cancelled the installation.
How do I locate or find my "system" or "data" folders??
Thanks in adavance
Use a better file explorer app. One that can access root directory.
via xda app
Cheers stankyou it worked

Please help?
What ROM are you running on your desire?
if ur rooted then use some kinda root explorer and move xda.apk to
system/app
and change permissions to match the other apps then reboot.

I don't think you can view all files on your pc... I've seen many m8s and on each one not all folders could be read when attached to a pc. The best way to see all your files is using a file explorer like es file explorer
