Hi, so i got a G4 H815 and i can unlock my bootloader, but my only concern is that after unlocking it my warranty will be void.
So my question is does anyone have a hardware problem? Like screen problems or anything?
...You just posted another thread. Please keep it to one thread.

You are asking a question, so your post should be in the Question and Answer subforum.

If you guys dont know or cant help dont even post
why would THIS thread

"How to recover your semi Bricked phone"
If this wasnt for the section why would it be in the DEV section if it wasnt part of it?

Not sure if I am understanding you correctly, but that link is a general guide, which is a good subject for this forum. However, individual questions about a bricking situation should be in the Q&A forum.

Hey, I have a LG D855, and I'm rooted on A6NL D855 V10G. My phone suggested to OTA update to V10I. Now I want to know if it's safe to do so. And if that's the case, what would happen to my root?
Thanks!

Three things:
1: Search is your friend-this topic has been discussed ad nauseam. This thread should answer your question and more.
2: Questions belong in Q&A.
3: Welcome to XDA. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the forum rules and etiquette.

I quess I didn't tell you I am okay with my root being removed. The thread you linked is just a guide for preserving it. My question was if my phone would be demaged by updating, and if the root would be removed by updating.
Thanks in regards

I am by no means new to these forums, however I've never posted. I ran across a site that shows how to root the G4. The method looks very similar to the one I used in rooting my G3 after the lollipop update. I can't post the link because I have yet to make 10 posts. The website is MOD EDIT I was wondering if anyone has tried this and if it works.
We don't want your India spam here.
Trolllers go away!
I wasn't spamming nor trolling. I googled "lgg4 root". I went to the first, maybe 2nd result. The method looked identical to what I did with my g3 after lollipop update. I was just wondering if anyone had seen or tried it. Only later did I click on the lgg4 root.zip file. It sent me to Amazon. Sorry I didn't try the link before posting. Just to reiterate, I AM NOT an Indian spammer!
Mods can we please get this removed? Reported as spam already

Delete this fake name topic...
you really should change the thread name!
i have an unlock bootloader, but still i was happy to see some good news, but not only its not unofficial unlock it also dont work.
IMO it can be deleted
Misleading title is misleading...
I've changed the title and moved this to Q&A. The title was very clickbait like, please title threads appropriately, this isn't buzzfeed.

Hi, today I've tried to unlock my bootloader from LG's official bootloader unlock site. Registered to the site, put in my IMEI and device ID and it says my device model is unsupported. What can I do? I want to unlock my bootloader.

You can unlock the bootloader, unofficially. Refer to the following thread: [UNLOCK][UNOFFICIAL][G4] Unlock ANY* LG G4 device with UsU
Thanks to the brilliant and persistent work of the developer, steadfasterX, THIS IS THE ONLY PROVEN SAFE WAY to unlock your bootloader. Read everything carefully & make sure you understand it fully before proceeding to unlock it using this method. Many of us done it with great success. Search for your phone model in his thread to see any relevant questions/answers etc.

You reply to the person who wrote the post 4 years ago and has not been active on xda since then.
It is not true that any G4 can be unlocked using the amateur method.
Only such a G4 with a correspondingly small Anti Rollback versions, which was not upgraded to the latest firmware from LG.

First and foremost: You seemed to have missed the "Read everything carefully & make sure you understand it fully before proceeding to unlock it using this method" wherein, if the member who comes across this old post, does in fact read it carefully & fully, that would be obvious as it is stated in the thread very early (note: the last post here was May 8th, so guess what, someone did come across it). They do have to read the referenced thread and understand it - you're only point is that you have read it but you do not clarify anything for anyone reading this old post, only reaffirming what I stated in the first place.
Second: This so-called amateur method has been proven, as attested by many members and, as well, the author has been recognized as a developer - you haven't, so who is the amateur in that case?

Peace bro!
I am not referring to everything that can be found on the internet, but what you have answered for kuzeykutupdayisi.
Your attempt to broaden the discussion with any other threads and posts is pointless, because I answer: EOT.
Just write a normal posting for the future instead of quoting someone from years ago, which is misleading.
Dropping by here to clean the thread. Please keep in mind and adhere to the Forum Rules. Words can be misleading and can always be interpreted in wrong way due to various situations. Let's avoid heated discussions and keep up the spirit of helping each other.
