Hello fellow tab users,
I have Samsung TAB S 8.4, newest Lolipop. How can I disable the endless ringing of notifications? It should be like other devices. One - three times notification sound and that´s it. But this does not stop! (NO I don´t want to completely disable the sound...)
Please change your thread to a normal post.

Hi guys, the stock apps that comes with the Note 2 such as Music Player and phone calls keep showing me tips on the notification bar whenever it is launched. I was wondering is there any way to turn off this feature? Thanks in advance.
you mean the shortcuts?
I meant like when a call is coming in, you'll get a tip at the notification bar stating that you can accept or reject the call by saying these words out. Sorry if it sounds rather confusing.
The ones I've seen have had checkboxes to say "don't show this again"
I have galaxy tab 3 and today stars ringing without reason, no notifications apear, just rings 2 times and wake up the screen. Someone know what is the problem? what's about...
Sorry if is allready a thread about this, i didn't found it
I just got my A3 2017 with latest Android 7.0 software. This is my fourth Samsung device, and I'm still shocked that is no more BLOCKIN FEATURE on one touch button from status bar drop-down menu! Tell me I'm wrong... this is unacceptable for that kind of device. How to setup my phone to block ALL incoming calls except My Favorites, beside entering all my 300+ contact in blocking list?!?
Another annoying thing is no led notifications... c'mon Samsung.... :crying:
Hello, I use the Watch GT with a Huawei P30. When I read and delete messages on the watch, they still remain in the notification bar or lock screen on my smartphone. This is extremely annoying, does it work reliably with you?
The firmware is up to date, I've already reset it.
Kind regards, Sascha
Normal works, GT is a tracker and not a smartwatch, so very basic notification system
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm because it only just became available in stores in my country. (Yeah I know, a year late and its already old but unfortunately that's just the way it works in this part of the world)
Anyway...
Is there a way to shorten or remove the animation that appears on the galaxy watch when notifications are received?
Coming from my Huawei Watch GT, Apple Watch S4 and Garmin watches which immediately display the notifications, it is really annoying to have to wait for the animation to disappear before the actual message is displayed on the Galaxy Watch.
On other watches, I can quickly glance at the watch as soon as the notification arrives and the message is already displayed. On the Galaxy Watch, I usually have to check twice or wait a while and actually often end up missing the message being displayed. (Happens a lot in meetings or while driving where I don't hold my wrist up for long)
Does the Galaxy Watch Active 2 have this delay as well?
This is an excellent point. I also have the same problem with my GWA 2. There must be a way to get rid of these annoying notification animations.
I'm interested too
If there a developer mode to go into? To remove animations like on Samsung phones?

Click to collapse
Would like 2 know too
If this notification animation was in Apple Watches, people would go crazy over it. What is the big point... It is just a small thing...
