I just got my A3 2017 with latest Android 7.0 software. This is my fourth Samsung device, and I'm still shocked that is no more BLOCKIN FEATURE on one touch button from status bar drop-down menu! Tell me I'm wrong... this is unacceptable for that kind of device. How to setup my phone to block ALL incoming calls except My Favorites, beside entering all my 300+ contact in blocking list?!?
Another annoying thing is no led notifications... c'mon Samsung.... :crying:

when i click on the bell, it shows 2 reminders , option to either dismiss all or close. theres no snooze or anyway to see what the 2 reminders are. anyone else expieriencing this?
Have you tried tapping the area where it says you have 2 reminders? That should take you to the app that's trying to give you the reminders (most likely it's a calendar appointment that you set)..
i did, n nothing happens. on my old touch pro it popped up when i hit the notifications button. i had a dropped call earlier so i have a ! n when i click dismiss all, its still there. i dont understand it.
btw, i have sprint w the touch pro 2
To get rid of missed call "!" icon just hit the green send to bring up list. If I hit the top bar when I have a reminder it then pops up with what it is an dismiss or snooze option. Sounds to simple so maybe I misunderstand you.
Hi! Since my Note 4's Lollipop update last week, I am very frustrated with what the dialer does during outgoing calls (not using HD calling right now). After I make the call, the call screen disappears into the notification bar and I have to swipe down (being careful not to touch the sensors that make the screen go black) to get the dialer back on the screen. This is really a pain when I need the keypad. I really just want the dial screen to stay on the screen full size. I can't seem to figure out how to do this after much Googling (maybe because people don't think it's a problem...but it's a very annoying problem for me!). Any ideas on how to fix this? Many thanks! Amanda PS...Incoming calls are fine...dial screen stays full size on the screen.
Welcome to the lollipop group! I am using sip accounts and when I dial, the dialer asks me whether I want to use my phone operator or one of the sip accounts. After I choose I have no dialer left.
If i swipe back to the dialer tab in the phone application, I can see 3 options:
x use touch tone keypad
< return to call screen
+ add call
and if i select "return to call screen" i can see again the dialog that asks me which phone to use for the outgoing call (while i'm still calling or even talking with the other side)
Google don't care about this, they're probably looking to phase out "internet calling" since they have their own competing product now (hangouts).

Click to collapse
I'm having exactly the same issue on a Note 3 now with Lollipop.
Hi there,
This maybe a stupid question.. but is there a way to get the stock incoming call popup that comes form the top like whatsapp that you get on various devices running stock android on htc sense instead of the full screen display on an incoming call?? Its intrusive, and most importantly it causes problems when i'm working on something and decline the call by accident just because i was going to tap on that area at that time.
Thanks
I have a Huawei Watch connected to a LG G4 and one annoying thing about it is that for some reason the missed call notification is not syncronized with the phone. If I miss a call I get the notification on the watch and on the phone, but if I dismiss the notification from the watch it won't dismiss the one on the phone and the other way around. I think this is because they use different apps... I think the phone uses LG's dialer and the Huawei one so they probably would synchronize if they weren't different. Some times, after boot I notice the missed call notification being different (and in my own language), which mean the watch shows the phones notification. Is there any way to properly synchronize the two or disable the Android Wear standard one?
When I answer a call on my iPhone, the same time a green dot on the top of my AppleWatch WatchFace appears. When I tap this green dot, phone app is running and I can transfer call on AppleWatch.
Yesterday I updated to ios16 on my iPhone and on watchOs9 on my AppleWatch. After the update, this green dot is missing when on call on iPhone. So, to transfer my call on AppleWatch, I have to manually open the phone app.
The reverse process normally takes place without problems and when I'm on call answered on AppleWatch, a green area on the left top of my iPhone appears and I can tap there to transfer the call on iPhone.
What is the problem? Is it a bug or some new feature?
Does anyone know?
I had a call from Apple Support that informed me that the feature I mention is deprecated. So case is closed!
It's possible that the green dot feature has been changed or removed in the latest iOS 16 and watchOS 9 updates. I recommend checking the release notes or the Apple Support website to see if there have been any changes to this feature in the latest update. If it is confirmed to be a bug, you may also want to report it to Apple so they can investigate and potentially fix the issue in a future update.
