I have just recently purchased the galaxy note II and I'm starting to hear an annoying noise pop every 5 seconds if I have sound on. It usually happens when you press an application, type, go back, and press the menu button. Is this happening to other people or is it just me? You usually hear it in a silence place.

I've had the phone just over a month and not had any experience of this problem.

Go to settings and under sound option disable keypad tones and touch tones. This will help you I think.

It happens when i listen to audio or during a phone call too.
I returned the phone to the warranty provider they told me the next android update will fix this issue?

Usually, as in 'not always'? that's weird, can't be the touch sounds feedback then. Better return it, I've been lurking the forum lot lately and haven't read anything like it, I don't think a sw update will just fix it.
My Boss's new Galaxy S4 is dialing on its own. Has happen 3 different times and one of the times it even called 911. Also Motion (I believe that is what it is called) is turned off.
Has anyone ran into this issue??
Thanks
Does he have screen lock on? Any chance he's just butt dialing?
This is my first post here. I can seem to find an answer anywhere
This has to do with the phone setting idle for a while, the screen is black, a text comes in, the phone jingles, vibrates, the screen lights up where up I have like one second to get to the phone, swipe my finger across the screen to open the phone, if not within one second the screen goes black again where I now need to press the power button, swipe my finger and open the phone.
Is there any way to increase the time that I have before the screen times out during this notification? The setting in Settings>Display>Screen timeout isn't for this situation. Does anyone know how to get to this setting or does it even exist?
Thanks. I've been struggling with this for several days now. Frustration is peeking
Hi
I will ask that your question be moved to your device section, here...

Good luck,
Hello fellow tab users,
I have Samsung TAB S 8.4, newest Lolipop. How can I disable the endless ringing of notifications? It should be like other devices. One - three times notification sound and that´s it. But this does not stop! (NO I don´t want to completely disable the sound...)
Please change your thread to a normal post.
my T-mobile galaxy s20 just start vibrating randomly without showing any notifications. Vibration pattern is also not normal. I use long continuous buzz for my notifications but whenever "phantom" vibration happens, it vibrates with few short buzz. I Googled it up, and didn't see anything related to galaxy s20. Just installed an app called nice catch from http://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.app.goodcatch
It happened one time after I installed the app. Even that app didn't log the "phantom" vibration.
I am wondering am I the only one having this issue?
I'm not sure this would help, but i haven't experience this yet ... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.globaleffect.notiplus&hl=en_US this is nice to have incase of missing notifications. Sometimes a phatom virbate could be a voicemail or something else.
Hi, I have a little problem
My bottom speaker doesn't work, no vibration and the microphone doesn't work but when I camera video it works ..
The last problem is hard to try, like if it's off, this sign appears when I load it.
