Its easily achievable on this phone. Also the screenshot lacks screen on time which determines overall battery life

Don't want to be a smart arse but it looks to me that each time you battery is going up your phone was switched off or in flight mode. Voltage on your battery is slowly recovering as the load eg. Screen, wifi, network is switched off. It make sense to me

Emmm nop. Except for, may be at 1 or 2 places, it may seem like that. However if u look at the screen shots, almost all of them have the battery life bar increasing with my phone in normal/sim working mode. Don't know whats casuing this. And bdw yesterday I reached 6h 49m SOT with 17% remaining. This means it would have easily given over 7.5 and under 8 hours SOT. Toooooo good battery life on stock kernel.

Ahan. May be your back-to-life-from-sleep-mode logic does apply to your SC but not mine. See my SC. It's increasing regardless of flight mode on or off.
P.S: I am not whining. I am enjoying it..but just wanted the reason behind this fun thing.. haha
it does the same to me seems normal
I got terribly battery draining problem. My device only can live 1 or 2 hour on battery time. Screen on time is only more than 45 minutes and i only use facebook and some web browsing.

I exchanged mine yesterday because mine would last about 5 min after hitting 30%
I assume you looked at the battery stats and it isn't a rogue app causing the problem? If not then I would return asap.
I can not exchange my device. Mine was knox warranty void 1 and they will check.
Do you know how can i reset knox warranty void?

I'm having a similar issue where my battery level will suddenly drop a huge percentage for no apparent reason. Sometimes when I charge, it will also jump up from, say, 40% to 65% within a few minutes, and at othern times, it will charge VERY slowly. An example: I left work today with my Tab S at 87% battery life, and durinbg my 45 minute drive home, it only charged 3%.
I haven't been watching the battery stas closely, but I have noticed that Touchwiz Home seems to take up a large percentage at times.
Edit: Just after submitting that post, I restarted my Tab S 10.5 and the battery level shows 100%...
Same with mine

im the guy who bricked their tablet by doing exactly what you tried. The method you tried is for Exynos variants of the tablet. Here in america, everyone except tmobile i think has the SnapDragon chipset. If you can confirm that yours is the snapdragon variant, theres a way to fix it like i did to mine.
That's exactly what I did too. I do have exynos I believe per the phone arena data
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
You need to find out for sure whether it's exynos or snap dragon. Those websites usually only show specs for 1 of the variants, not all of them.
Its a 2.3 quad core processor

Googling "SKT Mobile Security" brought this up:
http://www.sktmainstreet.com/media/sktmainstreet/www/images/0d7b31d1cb51960fdfc8eeabde36ca6a.pdf
Could be the same thing? Sounds like a home-security-interface Android app. It may be something completely unrelated to what you're seeing, of course, but it caught my eye.
I found it using activity launcher under settings, I was just curious because it is no where else on my phone and when I click on the help button it takes me to a Korean site.

Yeah. I'm bumping an old thread.
I found this too. Still no info on what it does. There is a lot hidden I the settings that are enabled and seem to do nothing though.
I have a Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition and am curious about something. Is there a way to swap out the SoC, with proper tools, in order to improve performance and multitasking abilities? I love my tablet but it's starting to feel outdated and since Samsung hasn't announced a 2015 version, I figure my best bet would be to put in a Snapdragon 820 once it's released. Please add helpful comments and insight. I just need to know if, theoretically, this pursuit is possible before I start out on this venture.
Thank you all in advance.

SoCs are soldered into the motherboard, so it's not possible
Even if it were possible to physically change the SoC, you'd need to modify the kernel to support it, which pretty much only people who've worked at a smartphone manufacturer would know how to do
I understand that, with the right tools, it is possible. I am curious as to the level of difficulty required in doing so.
Sent from my LG-H811 using XDA Free mobile app
Sure it is possible, but likely incompatible pinouts, voltage differences, and driver differences make it a non trivial thing to do unless you want a dead tablet. I wouldn't bother.

Now that Apple announced a stylus tablet it's pretty much guaranteed that we will see a new note tablet from Samsung very soon.
At least that's what my magic ball called tech intuition is telling me

Um yeah must not know to much about mobile hardware. TABLETS are not like desktops where anything and everything is swappable. Android tablets are like low end laptops where nothing is upgradeable.

Umm. Wow, you must be a genius! Thank you for your condescending reply, it was very informative?
Actually, you CAN swap SoC chipsets on tablets. The question was, how complicated is the process. But thanks again for your help champ!
