[Q] Cant import sim contacts to s6 edge - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

Hi, I have a sprint s6 edge that's unlocked. I live overseas and I'm trying to import my sim contacts to the phone with these steps.
Start your Galaxy S6 and open the Contacts app and tap on “MORE”.
Open the “Settings” and tap at the top in the list at “Import/Export contacts”.
Now you can see the “Import”-Button at the top. This will allow you to copy the contacts from your SIM to your Samsung Galaxy S6.
In the “Import contacts from” popup you have to choose “SIM card”.
Save it to “Device”, wait a second and you’re done.
Now use the Home key to return to the home screen and you can see your contacts in the Phone book.
However the "import contacts from" popup does not have the "SIM card" option. It only shows device storage. Can anyone help?

tranfer contacts to sim

I want to transfer the contacts in my pocket to a SIM, is there any software about (Windows mobile 2003 SE)?
I've tried "Sim manager", but it works only from sim to contacts...
Well you could open Contacts, Tap and hold a contact, Save to Sim.
Don't know of anyway to do all in one round.
To save all contacts at once:
Bring up SIP
Tap Ctl key then A -- that selects all the contacts
Tap Tools menu, then select Save to SIM
was trying to do this the other day. Had no luck figuring it out. Ended up doing about 300 contacts one at a time. :?

[Q] How to move contacts from SIM to google?

A question, is there some quick and/or easy to move all contacts to google account, so i can use later facebook pictures etc? Thank you.
Hmm.. I've accomplished that by exporting the numbers to a .CSV file from my old phone and then importing them via the webbased GMail.
My Desire doesn't seem to want to export it's contacts anywhere, though...
I remember when I first inserted my sim into a Magic I imported to Google from it. Haven't looked back since
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
i think i'll do everything manually....
Go to HTC People
Press Menu
Select Import / Export
Select Export to SD Card
Select SIM
Select OK
Whilst still in HTC People
Press Menu
Select Import/Export
Select Import From SD Card
Select Google
Select Import All vCard Files
Should be done.
wow will try
possibile that will make double contacts maybe?
nope still many contacts "sim" only....ok manually it's
I have done this now, how to import facebook pics to contacts?
go into setting-> accounts and sync
over there you should have a facebook if you set it up on initial set up.make sure sync contacts is selected.
it will try match up facebook contacts with your own contacts.
the ones that do not show up, go into the menu, select people. go onto the person's name.
on the bottom scroll onto the sync looking symbol. it should be between a mail and photo option.
you will then get an option to "link facebook profile" to the user. once this link has been set it will not lose it when you upgrade your OS's
yep noticed now pics
Ok now that i fixed everything....
When someone calls me, and if he's linked to FB account, will his or her pic be shown in dialer?

Adding a contact photo

Hi guys,
I have HTC Desire for only a day, but I spent most of that time searching how on earth I can attach a image/photo to a contact in my contact list.
When I take a photo of my friend, I go to photographs, select the photo, press the menu button "set as... contact photo", but then appears only blank searching screen and that is why I could not search anyone. How is that possible?
I have a few dozens, maybe hundrends of contact on my SIM card, but none of them is saved directly in Desire. Is that a problem? If so, how can I move all my contacts from SIM to phone?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, in order to attach a photo to a contact it must be on the phone(or google contact).
You can import your contacts from SIM by opening the dialer, press menu, choose "people", press menu again and choose "import/export", then select "import from sim card". Now you can export them into a phone or google account, both have option for pictures, but there is a blur bug with the google accounts when they're synchronized, i.e. it's better to choose "phone". Finally when the list comes up, you can press menu again to "select all"
Sweet, it works fine now... thanks!

How to Disable/Not Show Sim Card Contacts?

Hi,
My wife just got the i747 model of the Galaxy S 3 not too long ago and I was helping her configure her contacts. Prior to getting the phone I saved all her contacts to her Google account so when she sets up her Google account on the S 3 it will automatically sync the contacts as well.
That worked without any problems, but when you go to contacts it displays all the contacts in her sim card and all the contacts from her Google account as well, so everything is showing double. How do I get the phone to only show the contacts from her Google account? I see that you can delete the sim card contacts, but I don't really want to delete them from the sim card, I just don't want them to show.
I own the T989 Galaxy S 2 and with the stock ROM you have the option in contact settings---contacts to display, you can choose which account you want to have the contacts "display" either just from your google, just from your sim, or a combo of the 2. I can't find that option on the S 3. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
'Contacts to Display' is in the contact settings.. you have to scroll the menu down.
