Complete KDZ and CDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE Bands List
Background:
I've decided to start a Google spreadsheet which I hope will be what the community uses as a "one stop shop" to list all currently available KDZ files for all LG mobile devices.. but mainly G4 for now. This spreadsheet is able to be edited by anyone. Have a KDZ?..add it to the list or post it here! Tag your post with #KDZHERE and your phones model number to help searching the thread easier. Also trying to compile a 100% proper list of supported bands for all G4 versions. Many sites have different bands listed. I would like to have all the official supported bands (listed on G4 box).. and also a list of bands which can be added by modding the phone. For example the H815 can add WCDMA B4/B6 and LTE B40 despite not being officially supported... the method for how-to add bands can be seen HERE. If you can confirm a new working band that is NOT officially supported PLEASE share that info with the rest of us.. and tag your post with #BANDHAX so they can be found in the thread search easily.
KDZ List:
The link below is to the "master list" spreadsheet.
bit.ly/lgkdzlist
Please add your own KDZ links to the spreadsheet. I will not be adding everyone's link from the forums to the spreadsheet. This is why I made the spreadsheet able to be edited by EVERYONE. Open the spreadsheet... make sure your file hasn't been added already.. then add it to the list. Takes 30 seconds and helps the community. It is up to the community to make the spreadsheet work.. please take the 30 seconds to help out.
How-to Check for New KDZ Links:
The 2 links below let you check for KDZ files based on your own IMEI. Have a KDZ not listed in the spreadsheet? Add it!
1. http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=YourIMEIGoesHere <- official LG URL
2. http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/#imei <- better looking site. Not sure who runs it but I thought it was worth listing.
*UPDATE December 2015*
LG no longer displays the KDZ URL for G4 devices.
Stock Partitions:
And as always both CODEFIRE and StorageCow will host mirrors to as many files as possible. Be sure to check out hyelton's ReturnToStock thread here for links to both firmware and directions on how to flash these KDZ's.
I will have as many firmware and partition files as possible in my Codefire G4 folder. I'll also have other G4-related files in there as well such as drivers and flashable zips. That folder can be found here - http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G4
Bands:
List of each G4 and it's officially supported bands. This is just an initial list.. there may be some errors. If you have a correction please post a picture of your box showing the model and bands available. An example of such a picture: HERE

not all models have a KDZ available just yet. they are slowly rolling out.. the first arrived just last week. users will have to keep checking. once I have imeis for all models.. or more people start adding to the spreadsheet.. then everyone should only have to check http://bit.ly/lgkdzlist for new updates.

Please add "H815 USA" to the list of G4s with no KDZ yet. I'll keep checking my ESN in those links and let you know when available.
I will help update in spearsheet when my H818P ESA roll out .
Nobody here can get the PRT (Portugal open) firmware? I need it for the list.

looks good, thanks. I believe most of the H815 KDZ's are the same... just with a different carrier partition. The system/bootstack/modem are what I am interested in most personally... they are mostly shared between all the KDZ's with just things like carrier settings/logos/etc changed in the carrier partition. If you would like to add those to the spreadsheet that would be great. But I personally will not be adding any new H815 EU 10B KDZ files... waiting for 10C+ now.

Have no instructions or idea on how to update that spreadsheet. I have a H818{ from UAE. If anyone can instruct me on where to get info to fill in certain fields, I can help. Unclear.
Also, any info you need on bands or specifics for H818N/H818P, there's bound to be handy info hidden away in the 18+ pages of the dual-sim thread I started here:

I have a Defy European version with Firmware UK 2.2.1. WCDMA 900/2100 standard is marked on the box. I check Defy (Western Europe) official page and it says the same.
Is there any possibility to enable WCDMA 850 on this Defy?

Hi mate! You should look there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944258 Cheers.
Thank you.
I tried that one before I posted my question. I'm still confused about the frequencies that Defy supports. European Defy is compatible with WCDMA 850 but just locked by the Firmware?
You should check this thread with your FCC ID. It may give you some insight in what frequencies your Defy supports.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946788
Seems like Defy is software locked. I had a problem with gsm 900 on my Defy. It could only register on gsm 1800. So, i had to flash chinese frequency file. Now it's ok.
Try this. type *#*#4636#*#* and then click phone information. Then click the hardware menu button. You will have set of options to change band. See if this can help you. Select whichever country you want.

Could anyone kindly confirm that it is "Possible to enable WCDMA 850MHz on European Defy"?
its a galaxy nexus, but not sure what one, i want to make sure i got the right one to work on rogers network, i was on edge for years on my nexus one
Model number :Galaxy Nexus (ENGINEERING)
Baseband: I9250UGKL1
so will i at least get 3g on rogers with this
You have the GSM version which is pentaband. Although it is a engineering version, not sure why these are being sold but I don't think there are anything wrong with the phone.
So yes... you'll get 3G.
Network: HSPA+ 21Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps 850/900/1900/1700/2100 / Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz / (Band frequency, HSPA availability, and data speed are operator dependent)

thanks for the quick reply, so adding a custom rom is straight forward then i guess..
You should probably be happy it's an engineering phone as that should have real radio S-OFF.

Pretty much. Short version without too many details
1. install drivers for phone.. make it recognize fastboot
2. fastboot oem unlock
3. flash su.zip (or use superboot)
4. fastboot flash <clockworkrecovery>.img (or after unlocking and getting superuser, get rom manager and flash)
5. make backup
6. wipe factory,dalvik,cache
7. flash flash away!

Hello, I am writing to inquire about a problem that I have.
I have the F240L, and wore the ROM "SphinX GPRO KK V1.5", all good so far, but I have problems with 4G.
I have only 2G/3G reception.
I've been to "Hidden menu"
Then I selected "LTE-only"
Then "Modem Setting"
Then "LTE Band Selection"
And I select "Band 7", which is used by my country Chile to the 4G network, but then I again I enter the same menu and was not checked. :crying:
Someone who can help me.
thanks
LTE band
Having the same problem here, but i think its because of this;
F240K for KT Corporation – LTE 900/1800, Band 8/3
F240L for LG UPlus – LTE 850/2100, Band 5/1
F240S for SK Telecom – LTE 850/1800, Band 5/3
these are the supported band for specific models. I Think it cannot be changed using software because this is hardware related.

And flash a modem Hybrid?
Or modifying buil pro?
Flashing a modem means flashing the correct radio that maches the hardware. So basically hardware baseband cannot be changed. So it won't work. And build prop is for ROM properties. You can't use it to change the baseband.

Hi All,
I want a 32GB version of the m8, saw US t-mobile version which the following bands:
2G NETORK: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900)
(3G NETORK; 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100)
(4G NETWORK: LTE 700 / 1700 / 2100)
I use UK EE 4G which uses a different band.
If I S-off and flash HTC_001 firmware will I get EU band support or are there these limited to hardware?
Thanaks in advance

Band support can be added (changed) by flashing the appropriate firmware. New with the Snapdragon 801 is that the band support is software based.
Although you might want to also change the ROM also, if not already. Your carrier and the radio might not play well with the stock ROM's build.prop. Its happened on other carrier versions (causing various network issues).

Thanks for your reply, I have seen a thread on here about viewing your programmed available bands and then adding bands you want. So I think band 17 should be possible to add and work on your Zenfone 2.
