Probably because the phone is so recent, you should wait a little bit and they will start to show up. The great thing about the G4 is that it's extremely easy to replace it, the only thing you have to do is remove the casing under the battery cover which only has some screws (no glue or super tight hinges) and put the new one.

Replacement digitizer/LCD and housing

Hi all, apologies if this has been covered, I did a search but didn't find anything.
I have an HTC one with a cracked digitizer and I am planning on trying to fix it myself (I like a challenge!)
However, I am struggling with which parts to buy. I live in UK and all of the sellers on eBay seem to be on Hong Kong or China and the parts do not seem to be OEM. I am concerned about the quality of non-OEM parts.
Does anyone know of some genuine sellers in the UK/Europe? If you know of somewhere better in the US then I'm happy to pay postage as long as it's genuine.
Also, there are a lot of listings for digitizer only - I cannot find any recorded method of removing the digitizer from the LCD so I assume I should stay clear of them?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Find a HTC Carepoint. They have them but i don't know if they sel them. A repair ad mine shop wil cost you €240,-
@stumark man that's gonna be a tough thing to find. In order to get original parts your either going to have to get it to a HTC repair shop or buy an m7 for parts and rip of the front housing. I just bought the full housing so I can change mine from silver to black but I have not seen any official screens. I can give you the links to some I found in the US if you want tho.

I assumed that I would need to buy the full housing but I cannot find one that seems genuine. So if you have found some that you know are genuine then some links would be great, thanks

I'm interested in doing the same- changing from silver to black. I'm curious how did it go, did you manage to swap the casing/display without damaging it? I saw some vids on YouTube about it.. looks pretty messy..
I bought my housing from this guy http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Si...er_Cell_Phone_Accessories&hash=item51b4c6527e
U think it only can be original if it comes from us or uk? where do you think this is made?

I'd recommend etradesupply.com also. Bought iPhone replacement digitizer there and it worked awesome.
Hi,
I have a htc m7 with a cracked digitizer and I want to repair it.
I know that the best is to change the digitizer and the screen together(like this one for example), but I saw this video and others to replace the digitizer only and it seems easy.
Did anyone already tried to replace the glass?
I thought it was needed to unglue the screen from the glass and glue it again, but I didn't found much information about this.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Diogo

Yes, i did it my self and if you going to replace the lcd you shouldn't be worry much :victory:
my recommendation it to remove the SIM stick first then, start to insert the tool between the upper lip of the SIM port and the Black lcd frame :good:
then start to pop out the lcd from the the back cover BY moving the tool around the phone.
the bottom speaker grill can be removed easily, but the upper one has a screw from inside from the left side only.
you will find some youtube video, but my recomendation to start from the upper lip of the SIM port

I mentioned to start from the sim side not the volume side.

Broken screen - touchscreen issue

Hi,
My new LG G3 just fall from 50cm high... and the screen is broken. (green zone on the following picture).
http://i.imgur.com/OZYJTS6.jpg
Since that a big part of the screen is not touch screen responsive anymore (the red one).
Do you guys know what part of the phone need to be changed ? Just the glass or in there any other component between the glass and the LCD Screen ?
I didn't find anything on ebay... I suppose the phone is too recent for that.
Take care of your G3, it seems to be very very fragile.

Damn! have you protected the phone with a case at least? i am using a fake spigen slim armor (yes fake), bough it for 3$ from china and it's the same as the original one... (i compared with my friends one)
Also here in Italy, we have a promo from LG Italy for 6 months you got the accidental damage covered (such as water damage, drop damage ecc...)
Too bad, i got the german version on this phone and can't apply this promo... [emoji20]
What you're gonna do with this phone now? Send it to LG for repairing it?

No cover on it... Was planning to buy one.
I'm in a country where the G3 is not available so I don't think local LG branch can do anything for me.
I think the digitizer need to be changed, but I'm not familiar with this kind of things so I'm not sure... I don't know if this is something easy to do on this phone, so maybe someone here already did this before and can help me.

Have you tried to contact the LG warranty service from where you bought it??
Replacing the digitizer it's a little bit risky, you can damage the screen... (Basically you need to pull off all the glass on the front, and it is also glued! my friend broke his Galaxy S3 screen when he was trying to replace the front glass)

OK thanks maybe I should try to find a professional to do it.
This kind of damage is not covered by the warranty

I mean, sent it to warranty for repairing it (obviusly by paying)...

If the screen still turn on then it's only the digitizer (glass) is broken. Which is a much cheaper fix than replacing the lcd. Sorry to hear about ur accident

hope this link help but i guess it's easier to change the whole body frame with the glass together than the frame alone.

Yeah, you have to basically get a new screen-midframe assembly and transplant your motherboard and everything else onto it. PITA.

So the other guy mentioned to do the lcd screen with bezel. That input doesnt help here. I only ordered a bezel as my screen is fine. Is it possible to replace the bezel and not damage the screen while removing from the old bezel. Obviously watching the you tube videos they pull an old screen and add a new one. No video shows just a bezel using old screen

Camera lens replacement

Hi!
My Nexus 5X camera lens cracked this morning, and I was unable to find a replacement for it. Does anyone know where I might find one?
Thank you!
Congratulations on being the first person in the world to have this happen

I should probably be a bit more specific: It was the camera lens cover, the one covering the actual camera.
Hi! Mine too! And I don't know what to do
I would check ifixit.com, if they don't have the parts go to the teardown page and leave a comment, someone should be able to help there.
