Bad Bluetooth reception with LG Tone and Moto360 - Moto 360

I just got a LG Tone bluetooth headset and noticed that I got really crappy bluetooth reception. When playing music, it would constantly break up to the point that it was not bearable to listen to. I figured maybe it was due to my custom ROM (I'm running Cyanide L on my Note2), so I cleaned and reinstalled it on my phone. As soon as I brought it back up, everything was fine and the choppiness was gone. However, as soon as I reinstalled Android Wear and paired my Moto360, the choppiness came back. Anyone notice anything similar with their headsets? I'm not sure if this is specific to the LG Tone, Moto360, or the combination of both of them, but it makes the headset unusable.

I have the LG Tone paired to my handset and i have no problems at all, i've heard that some LG tone models have some issues, people say that the HBS700 is the best model with no issues at all.
What model do you have?
My set is:
LG Tone HBS730
LG Optimus G Pro E980 with android 4.4.2
Moto 360 with android 5.1.1

LG Tone 750
Note 2 running Cyanide L
Moto 360 on 5.1.1

[Q] [RANT] Australia Vodafone LG G3 issues.

Hey folks,
Recently I purchased a LG G3 on contract from Vodafone Australia (I got the G Watch free so it was a sweet deal). Although I had been using an iPhone prior to this, I'm in fact an Android lover and fan. I was using the iPhone due to unavoidable circumstances (no cash for a new one and this one was lying around at home). I did a lot of research and reading up before going for a new phone and decided on the G3, given its killer specs and impressive reviews.
But it's been two weeks now and its just problems after problems. I've not even rooted or installed any mods or such.
Audio issues - Inability to connect to external device via AUX cable. Like there's a lot of hissing and static but no audio output.
Until recently, my Audio Technica ATH M50's were working fine but today I discovered sound is playing only from the left speaker and the right one just hisses and crackles. Like when i navigate menu's and make selections, the hissing fluctuates.
Also, when I put a call on speaker phone, the mic does not work.
Yet again, when I use the handset speaker for a normal call, it hisses and crackles.
Overall I'm really disappointed with the audio performance. Everything else is alright considering the device is running an OEM skin along with factory settings.
My question is, are there any fixes for the above issues I have listed? Are they hardware based (not fixable) or software based (potentially fixable via a firmware update or mod, if and such when one becomes available) Does anyone else in Australia on Vodafone have the same issues? If so are you considering trading back on warranty for a new one. And yet again, what is the guarantee that the new device will be rid of all these issues?
Thanks,
Sezy.

Use the warranty
I doubt it's Vodafone's fault, most probably lg's
The real problem with Vodafone is the coverage. It's only good for cities. I used to use Vodafone, now I'm on optus.
Exactly the same as I said here

I think a headphone amplifier would perhaps solve the 'issue'
Sounds like an LG issue. I'll also add that my included LG headphones are a lit quieter than any other pair i use

[Q] Android Wear on the G4?

Anyone else experiencing issues with Bluetooth or Android Wear? My 360 wont get notifications or stay synced very long. It drops connection a lot.
My lg g watch is working fine so far. It's on 5.1.1 not sure if that matters.
I have a 360, and it's only my first full day, but I've had no issues
No issues on my Moto 360.
No issues on my 360 or G Watch.
No problems with my 360. Been up a week, no connection losses that aren't related to a phone reboot, or similar.
Reset the watch and repair the Bluetooth connection?
I have a LG G Watch R and it took me 5-6 factory resets on the watch before I was able to get it to connect with the G4. Surprisingly I had no issues pairing it with the S4 I had before. I also had problems pairing the G4 with my car and once paired it does not send metadata to the car. I've come to conclusion that LG's implementation of Bluetooth leaves a lot to be desired.

Yeah, there is something funky in LG's bt - software. I had to do factory reset to my LG G watch R to get it to connect to Android Wear app (it was connected to the phone in bt-menu). And the bt-audio is horrible compared to my other phones.

As far as I know, Android Wear doesn't connect to multiple devices. Although, there were some updates recently that I have not received on my MOTO 360, so YMMV.

I assumed that, that is why I disconnected it from my S4 and removed it from the watch. I still had to factory reset 5-6 times to get it to work correctly. Needless to say it's been working great ever since.

Upcoming Changes to Android Wear... SPEAKER SUPPORT!

http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/1...for-new-wear-os-update-apk-teardown-download/
The most significant change is support for watches with a speaker. Everybody has known for a while that audio support was on the way. Not only has Google mentioned this in the past, but we've seen that both the Huawei Watch and LG Watch Urbane Second Edition are already equipped with speakers. Nevertheless, this is a pretty good clue the firmware update isn't too far away.

The Asus ZenWatch 2 also has a speaker.
In fact speaker support was the main reason I upgraded from my LG G Watch.

I don't know about htc one m8 but lg g3 has a really loud speaker.Voice is clear and loud.
About bass in headphone,it also depends upon the qaulity of headphones.I use standard handsfree that came with g3 or sometimes use galasy s3's handsfree. Both gives nice bass.

if you want a phone to have great sound, go for M8 because they have Boomsound, also the speakers have better quality than the G3...but overall, the price you get the M8 you buy 2 G3's phones...and doesnt worth the price difference, so...yes, you should go for G3.
and about theyr model number, they dont say anything about if they have a DAC or not, this model dont have DAC for audio, no DAC in every model variation!

Bad phone call quality

I am on latest LOS with my XT1676 (3GB Ram) and noticed bad audio quality during calls (at least receiving audio but I also heard that my voice sounds bad). Anyone else with this problem?
Yes, I also noticed there is a noise during the call, like the person I was calling with was outside. And also when I turn on loudspeaker and I am little further from microphone the other side cannot hear me well, as I used it to do on Moto G2. I am on latest Lineage 14.1. Do you think it could be causing these problems?
Thanks
Me too, I'm using pixel experience (oreo). It's sounds like the person is talking in handsfree. Maybe an bug from custom ROM?
I'm having the same issue: Poly OS , android 7.1.2
Since I started the thread I could not find a fix. It seems that stock ROM does not have this problem which suggests it has something to do with drivers(?).
Same issue
I also noticed this Issue
When I called my mum who has the same phone and model ( XT1675 )she sounded quite blurry, in a way muffled, I thought she has changed a setting on her phone then my best mate wanted me to ring her, same issue, she sounded muffled and I apparently did
Got home, called my phone from my mum's phone and listened to the quality on both sides, I sounded really clear on my mum's phone but really muffled on my phone
I wanted to go back to stock firmware but Moto G5 XT15675 firmware isn't available, only XT1670 and XT1677
