I've got all the latest updates on my unrooted LG G3 (UK version). But when I listen to music via a BT headset (I've tried a Samsung and a Sony one), I still get the occasional (every 30 seconds to 2 minutes) stutter - which is very irritating.
Does anyone else have this issue and do you know if there is a setting or other fix for it? I'd rather not root it and put another ROM on it, so please don't suggest that.
Thanks for any info

Hello I know this is a website for moding phones, which I plan to eventually do however My Xperia ZL is on the stock ROM atm and is 4.4.2 OS. I am having two problems and would like help deciding if it is software or hardware related. First my device will randomly turn itself off and restart from once to 40 plus times whenever I restart my phone. Once it finally stops restarting though, usually after 3 days max it works fine until I restart it again it will not restart on me if i am talking on it or using it. I also have an audio playback problem that occurs in both streamed songs from pandora and using the walkman or google apps on the phone. Both through headphones and the external speaker the audio will cut out and a screech or some other noise will come out and then the song will continue again. Any assistance will be appreciated thanks.
Hey, there seems to be mixture of hardware and software problems. To isolate the issue, have you tried doing a Factory Reset ?

FACTORY RESET it.
Hi guys, here is the problem that for some reason popped just recently, started maybe 2 weeks ago or so. I'm using Jay bird blue buds x as my main wireless headphones with my tab s. Everything was working fine but now whenever I connect the headphones and either start listening to music, music player or Google play music, or listen to a video clip, be it from YouTube, gallery or Google play video, the headphones cut out after 30-60 seconds. Now I did test the headphones with other tablet, an Asus one, and with my audio setup I use with my pc and I can use them without any problems for hours at a time. Which kinda led me to a conclusion that it's not the headphones but the tab itself. Now my question is, did anyone experience something similar? Any chance it's a Bluetooth driver mixup of some sorts that came with most recent tab update? Any help would be appreciated. I'm running complete stock with the most recent update, with just a couple of apps "turned off" in application section.
Jaybirds work with stock and skyhigh kernel.

Well, my Samsung HS3000 Bluetooth headphones work w/o a problem, but I just encountered an issue with a bluetooth gamepad I bought. It started to lag every 30s - 2 minutes for like 10 seconds and than worked normally again. On the Nexus 7 of my girlfriend it worked for hours w/o a problem. I ended up factory resetting and updating to a newer firmware only to find out (just now) that one of my apps with accessibility access is responsible, probably Tasker or some of its modules / plugins.
Since your issue sounds a bit similar, you might want to investigate in that direction.

Sounds like you might be right, tho I am not using Tasker atm. I'm thinking maybe it's one of the apps I turned off.
Hey guys, Downgraded to 4.4.4 and had no audio problems. Disabled knox and kept wifi off but att downloaded the new update using most of my data. Tried to cancel but it automatically did its thing.
The problem is that music will play for like 10 minutes perfectly and then there will be like a 1 second hang that really ruins it. Which happens both on wired and bluetooth but much more noticeable on bluetooth. I had this problem both times I was on 5.0.1.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any workarounds? Otherwise gotta downgrade and hope it doesn't update my phone again. I'd enjoy lollipop without stuttering music.

Every music player I've used on Lollipop stutters. Even the stock player. I read in several places that there's a Lollipop bug. Not sure if that's true though.

Hi
This is a common issue and i think its not really related to LG G3, but maybe some people who own this phone solved that problem.
I had 3 phones LG G2/Oneplus One/ now LG G3, used android versions form 4.4.2 to 5.1.1, and 3 kind of bluetooth headphones of 3 companies. So the conlusion is that [email protected] is problematic when you play music wirellesly from your phone memory (not streaming online). It constantly drops out/stutter/skipps. Sometimes i must say it may play fluently for day, sometimes in exact places where i live it skipping like hell.
Has anybody managed to find the solution to this issue ?

is a lollipop issue but not all devices have this problem. my lg g3 with fusiongsm v5 has it but my moto e 2015 stock 5.1.1 does not.
No,it is not. You're wrong. Its problem of KitKat Lolipop as well as new Marshmellow which in fact has those skips even more annoying than in previous OS versions.
Im running LG G4 @ Android M and its skipping like crazy.
This problem with skips is insane. Unresolved issue for like 2 years now
Funny as I asked around about a similar thing that happens with me...
It's the same thing, except that it happens with normal earphones...
Apparently, the combination: Class 4 SdCard+ Flac+ Stock Rom, results in stuttering, while not as bad as you guys have with Bluetooth, it's still quite annoying, which proves to me how LG is horrible at Software Optimizing.
Now that I bought an Class 10 it stopped, but still skips when using Viper...
Now, the BT problem, are you guys playing song on a car system?
I remember when I owned an S4 it skipped only when Audio Tunneling was on. Disabling it on Build Prop worked, but there's no Audio Tunneling line on our Build Prop? I guess?
G4, too!
I've had my G4 for nearly 2 years, and it does this constantly!! It's a problem with stored music or audiobooks. I thought it was a connection problem with my Plantronics BT headset until I got a new car with BT speakers, and it does it in the car, too. Streaming is fine, but I don't have the data allowance for that. I've got a 64gb class 10 mini sd in it, which doesn't seem to help with it at all. Go figure.
Has anybody EVER figured out a solution to this?

Never had bluetooth issues in the past, now when paired with my car, the recipient of the phone call complains of hearing nothing for like 5 seconds at a time. I have deleted/repaired the device with no luck, still happens.
Anyone else seeing the same thing? Thoughts?
Yes!!!
Ever since I accepted the Lollipop update from AT&T, I've had playback issues on my car radio (Pioneer if that matters). The music playback skips every few seconds. I've tried changing power saving and display settings with no help. I never had any issue on KitKat which my phone came with. Sadly, AT&T will not roll back my phone to KitKat (I have lots of other issues with Lollipop) and I can't flash it with ODIN and a stock ATT rom I found on XDA. Here is the error I get: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/flash-stock-odin-t3159745
I've tried several factory resets and even recently took the phone to an AT&T service center to have my phone re-loaded with a Samsung machine. No change. Friends of mine can play music on my car radio no problem. The Service Center claims that they streamed music to a bluetooth speaker system in their shop but I didn't actually observe that.
