Dear all,
I would like to unlock bootloader and s-off my htc one m8w, but first thing is that when connected to adb while the phone is on, it is showing device 0123456789abcd connected. and when i boot into fastboot mode, it is not showing the device in adb and i'm unable to get the token to unlock bootloader. Though i have got root access using Kingroot.
I believe you have a fake/clone M8 as I answered you in other thread.

Htc one m9 stuck in bootloader mode, no OS, stock recovery, locked bootloader
Hey guys
So I screwed up pretty badly while attempting to download the ruu for my att one m9 and I had to lock the bootloader to do so. So now I have softbricked it and just about to give up. I cannot unlock the bootloader for some reason it says successful on the cmd but on the phone it still says relocked so I can't download twrp. Any help is appreciatd
same here
were both screwed i did the same. any fix yet?
I had to replace it with uh oh protection lmao
I'm a complete noob at this but all I am trying to get at this point is my HTC Desire 626s.
I have unlocked the Bootloader for now but S-ON is still on. My phone is fine and at this point I'm trying to complete a TWRP recovery .img I got from this thread (that didn't tell anything about twrp recovery, only cyanogen recovery method update and download)
So could someone help me out with what I need to do?
Note:
-Bootloader is unlocked
-I'm a noob,so some terms won't work on me.
-adb reboot bootloader gives me a "ADB Server out of date. Killing" message.
-The reason I need S-OFF is because thats the error message I got "FAILED (remote: cannot flash this partition in s-on state)"
after trying to flash in bootloader mode.
And if anyone has time, why does everyone mention this "fastboot mode" when I only see three different modes,as you can "reboot" to them.
Download,Bootloader,and Recovery Mode.
Thank you for anyone who replies,I'm a complete noob that just needs help,I'm a bit worried I unlocked my bootloader for nothing.
This is a forum for the HTC Desire Bravo A8181.
See with your own eyes.

Hi,
So I tried flashing a TWRP v2.7.0.2 to a HTC One M8s which on command line said was successful but when opening recovery the phone just powers off and does not load any recovery.
I then, stupidly relocked the bootloader (fastboot oem lock) and now have a bootloader saying ***RELOCKED***
I have tried a new unlockcode bin file but it wont matter as the recovery will not load when i select unlock bootloader.
Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader without having the recovery to run?
Please help!!!
Hi,
I had a similiar problem and used 'Squabbi's HTC One M8 Toolkit 2 2.5.0' to Re-flash TWRP twrp-3.2.3-0-m8.
Regards
Rob
I'm also having a similar issue when flashing twrp image successfully (bootloader unlocked) recovery loads the HTC white screen until the battery drains! I'm using Linux mint terminal. Could you point me towards squabbis toolkit to reflash? Tia
Hi
I managed to "Relock" my Unlocked bootloader of HTC One e9 (please don't ask why ) The phone is S-OFF, rooted with fully working TWRP recovery. How can I unlock the phone again.
I've tried the following with no success :
- command "fastboot oem unlock"
-to flash the Unlock.bin again
-the method from this topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708571
Do you have any other ideas?
Thank you!
hmm... What about trying to unlock it in the RUU?
I just relocked my phone then unlocked it again with the same Unlock_code.bin and the same instructions from htcdev unlock instruction page 4 in download mode. So yeah, it works.
My phone is S-ON though, but I doubt that it matters.
