Having problems with my d855 being unresponsive. Needing a battery pull.
It's usually seems like when I disconnect from my car bt or something that has to do with Bluetooth.. I can't really pinpoint the source of the problem

Haven't heard of any issues like this from other users. Might have been a kernel issue that has since been taken care of though.

The stock kernel. It's modified for performance and battery. I think your issue was caused by a couple things I added for battery, but I've removed them.

Thanks hopefully itll be better. I have power nap and amplify xposed modules. You think that might be a problem with the unrepsonsiveness?
Also how would I be able to flash back your kernel only?
You can just do a dirty flash

download page
Hi . download page has problem and i cant download this rom !!! help please
So the camera and move apps to sd doesn't work on this rom? Or how am I supposed to interpret these comments?
Random reboots is also not a very good sign...
Is this with everyone or are those just specific cases?
If those are problems with the rom itself, can someone point me to a rom that doesn't have these problems? (for I8160)
I checked CrystalPA for a bit but there are also many reports of problems.

Tried pacman last night, this rom is better. I started missing the pictures behind the clock when you pull the notification shade down. Thats a nice touch.
Thanks for the modem. My phone sleeps now that I flashed it.

That image behind the clock in the notifcation area is also an option if PAC-Rom, hidden somewhere in one of labyrinthine menus. As much as I love the features offered by these roms, they seem to be all very poorly designed in that way, making you dig and guess to find what is what and where. Poor form, for sure.
Dammit XDA made another Q&A thread on me.
I hate this stuff. I'll convert it later.
Android codes in custom roms
Hello!
I have a question.... I have used some custom roms and some times I need to enter to the options that offers the android codes (the codes that we can enter in the dial that use with #*#*)
The thing is that in some roms thes "feature" dont work.... how can I access to this options using these roms??
for example, in vanir I can use that, but in carbon I can not...
thanks for the help!!

I apologize, I am unfamiliar with the android codes. Maybe you should ask CarbonROM Devs or look for it in the FAQ?
Is this rom good enough for daily use?
i havent tested the telephony feature yet but as for me i find it very stable and i use it as my daily driver. it cannot run with an other kernel except the snepsts kernel. i wish this is possible running with an other kernel bc i need the fastcharge friggin fast.

You would like to consider rephrasing that as it sounded offensive for me..you could have atleast posted a logcat, kmsg, dmesg i can look at regarding your issue instead of whining here that it ran into issues..why don't you build the kernel without a device??
Do you even have an idea how a Snapdragon 400 works?? binaries controlling cpu activity/frequency?? One guess is your thermal engine that throttles CPU down..
Don't worry I will try to implement a thermal solution for you guys..

Thanks for the continued development of this kernel.
Have successfully installed to Carbon ROM RC5 and trying it out! So far, all seems good.... very good!
Peace.
Edit: Ok, spoke too soon. Wifi seems broke, but this may be kernel compatibility patch from another (well known) thread.
Any logcat I can upload to troubleshoot?
Peace.

tried on latest TWRP 2.8.4.0 with step:
1. Flash ROM CM11-R15 and PAGapps
2. Reboot
3. Flash the previous one (Armani-prod-bld1.zip)
4. Then flash the latest one (Armani-prod-bld2b-npr.zip)
the kernel still show the previous build with Mon Jan 12
I have a problem with the last update. CPU Max Frequency is fixed at 1593MHz and I can't change it (tried from Synapse and from CM11 settings)
Hi.. i just hoping that you can make this awesome kernel available to flash on stock MIUI v.45 ROM. Thank you in advance
#i'm dying to try out this kernel
Fast and smooth!
I am using this kernel, and the previous release of it, for three days, and everything goes fast and smooth. No lags, no reboots, no heating issues!
Keep on the amazing work!
Edit: I am running CM11 R15. I don't know for real but i think the vibration is stronger with this Kernel.
After running this kernal for 3 days I can say that this kernal provides great balance between battery life and performance great work .
update please
guys rc16 is out with no call screen bug and the bad thing is that the bug is fix is related to stock cm11 kernel so we cant flash a custom kernel on rc16 as people reported that there are random reboots and some other issues so please devs update the kernel to the latest cm build please
how the right step to flash the updated kernel?
it still show build1 after flash the build2 and/or build3.
At the time flashing in Twrp latest version,it is telling no md5 file and after flashing it is bootlooping any one tell suggestion
Thank you dev for your hard work.
