That image behind the clock in the notifcation area is also an option if PAC-Rom, hidden somewhere in one of labyrinthine menus. As much as I love the features offered by these roms, they seem to be all very poorly designed in that way, making you dig and guess to find what is what and where. Poor form, for sure.
Dammit XDA made another Q&A thread on me.
I hate this stuff. I'll convert it later.
Android codes in custom roms
Hello!
I have a question.... I have used some custom roms and some times I need to enter to the options that offers the android codes (the codes that we can enter in the dial that use with #*#*)
The thing is that in some roms thes "feature" dont work.... how can I access to this options using these roms??
for example, in vanir I can use that, but in carbon I can not...

I apologize, I am unfamiliar with the android codes. Maybe you should ask CarbonROM Devs or look for it in the FAQ?
Is this rom good enough for daily use?
i havent tested the telephony feature yet but as for me i find it very stable and i use it as my daily driver. it cannot run with an other kernel except the snepsts kernel. i wish this is possible running with an other kernel bc i need the fastcharge friggin fast.

Uploading. We made a new v2. We will post it this night or tomorrow.
Some one asked if it will be available on d851. By now v2 its only for d855 but we are working and make it compatible for all variants [emoji3]
And what about V3? will this version be available for VZW G3?

There are a loooot of work mates....but we are working on.

Try it out is should work because the d855p is just a d855 with some carrier apps extra

I know you guys have a lot to do Already but could you please consider adding the following features
1)multitasking chatheads(see Samsung)
2) option to run multitasking apps as quicknote(resize, not whole screen, overlapping apps(see samsung)
3) Centralized app for tweaking the rom(vipertweaks in sense roms)

Sprint slimkat 9.0 no mobile data
I just installed slim kat 9 coming from 7 (which was awesome BTW). Everything in 9.0 works great aside from mobile data. SMS and phone work fine though. Just wondering if this is a current issue.
My sprint S3 SPH-L710 currently has the

Hey I love this rom it was a champ for me for about 5 days then I try to use the front camera and it started rebooting the phone if I would try to use the camera at all the phone will reboot I did a reset on the phone and still same issue I really like this rom but had that camera issue am using carbon rom that not giving any issue but I like this rom better and would be using it if it was not for that camera issue thanks a lot for the rom if this issue get resolve I will get back on it and test hardcore
I get the same issue but try using "A better camera" or "open camera" - I've been using these without issues.
I just got a Galaxy Note5 SM-N920P. Any chance of Slim being made for it?

So, going forward, what will the update process be using this ROM? It will require flashing the new version? Will that erase my data/apps each time or is there a way to do it as if you were doing an update from a manufacturer?

Full wipe with TWRP, wipe system, data, and caches. You can use Titanium back up to back up apps and their data and restore them after an update.

Multi window is a Samsung feature as soon as same one makes an aosp version I will added it.

S-Pen works great, but it doesn't have the Air Command like stock does. I do include what is called S-Pen gestures from Temasek ROM these gestures are good replacement for Air Command.

first you have to use cwm 6.0.5.3 for gio,than do a factory reset first with 6.0.5.3 and than flash rom.

I would like to know however, where I could get a functionnal G-Apps ? I only really need the Google Play Store + whatever else makes the Play Store work.

I flashed a completely fresh install of the ROM with the indicated G-Apps (+CM-Account) and now get "Google Play Services has stopped" errors constantly.
Am I doing something wrong ? I don't understand.

It depends which kernel version you want to use.
msm is 3.0.31 and msm7x27 is 2.6.37

Flashed this and It's CM based believe sources are in OP in the development thread
Having problems with my d855 being unresponsive. Needing a battery pull.
It's usually seems like when I disconnect from my car bt or something that has to do with Bluetooth.. I can't really pinpoint the source of the problem

Haven't heard of any issues like this from other users. Might have been a kernel issue that has since been taken care of though.

The stock kernel. It's modified for performance and battery. I think your issue was caused by a couple things I added for battery, but I've removed them.

Thanks hopefully itll be better. I have power nap and amplify xposed modules. You think that might be a problem with the unrepsonsiveness?
Also how would I be able to flash back your kernel only?
